More than 300 Saudi Arabian military aviation students have been grounded as part of a 'safety stand-down' after a Saudi Air Force lieutenant shot and killed three people last Friday at a US Navy base in Florida. An Air Force spokeswoman said an undisclosed number of additional Saudi students have also stopped flying. The FBI has said US investigators believe Saudi Air Force Second Lieutenant Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani, 21, acted alone when he attacked a US Navy base in Pensacola before he was fatally shot by a deputy sheriff. But US Defense Secretary Mark Esper said he had instructed the armed forces

Bringing Muslims into the country is national suicide.
Giving them flight training so they can fly airplanes into our buildings is treason.

#2, I and tens of thousands of others before and after me were Lts anywhere from 21 on up. WWII and Korea had their share of 19 year old Lts. WWII saw one of the youngest BGs when Gavin got promoted to that rank at 35. There was one BG younger than that at 34, I think.

And again, sorry for the 3rd. Has anyone noticed that the Trump administration is the first one in recent history that doesn't have A MIDDLE EAST PEACE PLAN. Because it's really not our problem. DJT et al are working primarily on AMERICA. MAGA

How about they train at home in their own country with Saudi flight instructors. All these mooslums do is get here, go out drinking ands getting drunk, hitting bars and strip clubs off base and start eating bacon and eggs and chasing women around and plotting terror attacks on this country they love to hate so much. Go home and try it out.

I wonder if using the Saudi's as a means of keeping Iran at bay is playing a bigger role than we're being told. Three hundred Saudi's in the U.S. for flight training means a lot of money is being spent by the Saudi's on American aircraft, which means a lot of money for those U.S. companies that make the aircraft and for those companies that train people to fly them. Plus, it means a lot of influence the U.S. has over the Saudi's and that region of the world. However, it still makes no sense to disarm military personnel on a military base.

Two points. First that particular Saudi has been in the USA for over two years as an officer in the Saudi Air Force, which means that he has been a Second Lieutenant at least since he was 19 years old. When this is over we will may find out that he is a member of a prominent Saudi family. Second, all US military Commissioned Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers on US military bases should be authorized to carry sidearms at their discretion. Once that is policy is in effect, chances are there will be armed officers and NCOs who are combat veterans at the scene of any future terrorist attack on a military base immediately, and effective and life saving defensive action will not have to await the arrival of law enforcement first responders that is always going to take time, during which an uncertain number of US military members could be murdered.

A day late and a dollar short. Now I await to see how long it takes the ACLU or some Soros funded organization to file a lawsuit to stop a review of security and screenings for foreign soldiers. After all, these demonrat subversives love their terrorist buddies.

My late best friend taught English to Saudi medical students, in Saudi Arabia, 30 years ago. And he was surprised to learn that wealthy Saudis hired men to take their medical school classes for them, and that it was a common practice to do so, dince many of those students had no intention to ever practice medicine. They just wanted the title.
If the U.S. wants to train Saudis, why not do the training over there? That would stop this embarrassing situation, where we have to ground all of the muslim students, because we can't sort out the moderates from the filthy islamofascist terrorist pigs?
This will eventually wind up before Chief Judas John Roberts and his supreme court.

Even today, with all the insanity, I could scarcely believe it when I heard about this program. All the terrorists on 9-11 were from Saudi Arabia. They should have named it the 9-11 Terrorist Training Program. Insane.

I understand that we need to keep the Saudis happy because they are now providing a balance against Iran and we want to reward them for making nice with Israel...
.... but that doesn't mean you turn a blind eye or stop looking over your shoulder at anyone who could be Wahabbist.
