It’s Not Because She’s a Woman

In early October, Elizabeth Warren hit her stride. Her stock in the Democratic primary had been climbing steadily since midsummer, and as Joe Biden continued to lag, the Massachusetts senator became the first presidential hopeful to overtake him as front-runner in the RealClearPolitics polling average. She’s been in free fall ever since. Warren now sits at just 14.8 percent in the RCP average, in third place behind Bernie Sanders, with about half the support Biden has. The former vice president has lost a step or two (or several) since his time as Obama’s right-hand man, but it’s looking less and less likely that Warren will be the Democrat to supplant

It's not because she's a woman. It's because of her annoying flapping arms and the same annoying black get up with a different color cover she wears everywhere she goes. It's mainly that she's an annoying lying marxist, though.

#1, how come no one ever criticizes what male candidates wear? Unfortunately, when we comment on Warren's attire, we support the position that it's because she is a woman. She has found a "uniform" that is comfortable and looks nice. I'm okay with that. But I'm not okay with her communist platform.

"23 percent of women said they preferred Biden, while 16 percent favored Warren" This means that Warren can't sell sexism charges to other women, who should be her most sympathetic audience for this issue. That probably means she is being perceived as a whiner and yet again as a liar. Warren is being caught in the trap that ALL the dem candidates face. They have to go Left to win their primary but extreme Leftism will lose them the general election. Sure, after the primaries they will pivot and moderate their speech and the propaganda media will help them cover up their Leftism. However, all their Leftism is being captured by Trump's people and you KNOW it is going to show up in some campaign ads. Medicare for All is NOT winning in the dem primary. It will be a YUGE boat anchor in the general election. Warren tied it around her own neck and that had nothing to do with sexism. It was an effort to cut Sanders out of the race (You don't need him, I support Medicare for all too.) and poor judgment on Warren's part. Plus, Bloomberg's entry into the race complicates things for Warren. If Biden collapses, his support would have had to flow to the others, probably Sanders and Warren breathing life into their campaigns. But with Bloomberg in the race, it is more likely to transfer to him. After a few primaries, there is going to be some serious consolidation. Warren probably won't make the cut.

I beg to differ, #3 and I’m a woman. Many of us criticized the way 0bama always ran around in his shirt sleeves in an effort to look like the “common man” while Trump always wears a suit. Appearance equals impression. Liz always wearing the same outfit, with messy hair, no makeup and no accessories makes her look like she thinks that she doesn’t need to make any effort at all. In this day of 24/7 news and everyone having a video camera on their phone, it’s not a good idea to look like a slob. And it makes me wonder about her personal hygiene. Just ask Illary. She had the same look. Imagine a president Warren attending a state dinner in the WH or at a dinner at Buckingham Palace. Do we really want that representing us, especially after 8 years of Mooch? And then there are her insane policies. And the fact that she’s just as unlikable as Illary

On the topic of clothing choices, if a male candidate wore black pants, a black top , and jackets in Crayola 64-box colors, they'd get noticed and commented on. The male candidates all wear traditional business suits, and business casual when called for. Image matters, and Liz's "comfortable uniform" is, at best, an odd choice. My comfortable uniform is sweatpants and a solid t-shirt. Were I a candidate, I would not wear that out on the trail.

Warren’s policies are condescending and socialist. It should be obvious by now that America does not want nationalized health care. But no matter. She is willing to shove it down our throats anyway, throwing in free health care for illegals as a bonus. She has no rational explanation for how she would pay for it other than vague threats to cut our defense. Liberals are suggesting we should support this because she is female. What could be more ‘misogynistic’ than that?

We will fun out of freedom long before we run out of candidates we are not allowed to reject because they represent some form of atonement for the sins of the past. Couldn't object to Obama's spread the wealth, you have made enough, you didn't build that socialism because he had some African ancestry. Can't object to Cherokee Liz while she calls for the theft of more wealth than all that the 1% possess because she's a woman. We still have two flavors of openly gay, real native American, Hawaiian, transgenders, Muslim, and given the damage Obama did it might only take another two terms to seal the deal.

Full disclosure, I'm of XX chromosomes. So, I am, from a SJW standpoint, able to comment upon the Warren person. I, for one, do not want to listen to the whining, lecturing, lying voice of someone else's grandma telling me what to do for the next four years. Frankly, I'm somewhat convinced that's why the Hillary person failed, too. Democrat XX persons are the best example of the "wives" described in the book of Proverbs that make their husbands (and children) want to hid in the corner of a roof, or sound like the irritating noise of water dripping incessantly. XX Warren is not a calming, encouraging voice--she's a nagging, complaining old lady. Nope, I don't want to listen to her for any years (nor Hillary), and I'm not afraid to admit that some of the reasons stem from the fact that she's XX. MAGA!!! KAG!!! Trump 2020!!!

Agree with several comments. As the old saying goes, " you can tell about a person by their shoes". While we can't see her footwear, what she wears above her feet and how she carries herself speak loud negative volumes. However, in the case of Melania, her wonderful stature as a woman is clearly seen in her stilettos.

Lizzy gained popularity with the Gimmedats by using her ridiculous, unreachable promises to buy that popularity but right around October she began to admit that she would be robbing not only the hated wealthy but the average middle-class worker and some of those foggy-brained people began to see that the math did not work. She could not possibly deliver what she promised without creating an unsustainable national debt crisis, which we are already uncomfortably close to. She also will not survive that fake Native American claim and bossy school teacher image and the hundreds of lies about her life. If she could accomplish a remake of her life from about age twelve she might be a viable candidate.

If a woman candidate would stand there as an equal WITHOUT demanding that everyone credit her for being a woman (one of those lefty idiocies) then... what's left to say? Behave like an equal, don't blab about it. Maybe I have a different assessment because I have been blessed to have strong, intelligent women in my life. The establishment narrative on Joe Biden is, to put it mildly, malarkey. Gropey J actually is everything the liberals accuse Donald Trump of being – bizarre, vulgar, dumb, corrupt, incompetent, and utterly unfit to be president. But yet the Creepy Veepy is so much more. In the last month, this totally not-senile, not-at-all-weird guy has assembled a track record of freaky behavior that would put mid-eighties Crispin Glover to shame. Let’s review… Corn Pop is old news. Biden’s latest rambling onion-on-the-belt monologue was something about little kids at a pool rubbing his leg hair or something – it’s so random I’m not even linking to it.

Live by the identity-politics sword, die by the identity-politics sword. The Democrats are learning that the hard way. With Sen. Kamala Harris of California having pulled out of the party’s 2020 presidential field last week, Democrats are wringing their hands and agonizing at the very real prospect that all of the participants in their upcoming candidates’ debate, next week in Los Angeles, will be — horror of horrors!— monochromatic. One of my all-time favorite sporting moments concerns a soccer match in Thailand between Satri Angthong and Bangkok Sports Club. The match, in 2017, had gone to a penalty shoot-out, and extraordinarily the score had reached 19-19 when a Bangkok player hit the crossbar with a thunderous shot. Satri’s goalkeeper charged forwards to his teammates waiting on the half-way line, punching the air and leaping like a demented dolphin in wild jubilation as his opponent sank his hands to his knees in abject despair. But the ball, which had soared off the crossbar into the stratosphere, crashed to the ground again and spun viciously in the direction of the goal. The goalkeeper suddenly realized

The Democrats have filed Articles of Impeachment. No one is surprised, because impeachment has been the goal for the radical Left and others who dislike the president since before his election. Impeachment of a president is a solemn undertaking. It will inevitably, as Alexander Hamilton noted in Federalist No. 65, veer toward political factions. Yet it is important that our Founders intentionally did not embrace “recalls” or “votes of no confidence.” Rather, our system demands from Congress evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors and contemplates a level of behavior commensurate with the chaos inflicted on the republic by potential removal of a president.

Monday’s split-screen drama, as the House Judiciary Committee weighed impeachment charges against President Trump and as the Justice Department’s inspector general released a 476-page report on the FBI’s handling of its 2016 investigation into Trump’s campaign, made one truth of the modern world inescapable: The lies and obfuscations forwarded ad infinitum on Fox News pose a dangerous threat to the national security of the United States.
