British actress Daisy Ridley, who portrays Rey in “Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker,” said Disney doesn’t have her on any sort of rhetorical leash when it comes to politics—particularly about President Trump. The linchpin heroine of the latest “Star Wars” movie and the previous two installments of the franchise sat down recently with the U.K. Guardian for a wide-ranging interview when the conversation veered into U.S. politics. Ms. Ridley said that Americans must suffer some form of mental illness to support the Republican president. “Given that Disney owns Star Wars, is she conscious of what issues she can talk about publicly?”

Make sure she can never enter the US again. If she does, lock her up! Or, drop her off in San Francisco with no shoes on her feet.

I've seen enough of the Star Wars movies. I'll save a few bucks and skip the further issue.

Ugh. A bargain bin version of Keria Knightly who has the acting range of a toaster. So maybe preteens and fan boys believe she can defeat opponents, but it is obvious that she is too weak and too awkward to defeat anyone in a fight, unless they are severely handicapped. The Farce is strong with this one and she is the future of this hokey overworked PC franchise.

This ditz is from the country that let a dangerous Jihadi out from prison early so he could murder her countrymen. Daisy needs to go home and try to do something about their cities turning into murderous ****holes.

Disney has killed Star Wars with its social justice wussification--
The 'Last' Jedi ruined all of the goodwill from the JJ Abrams reboot (which was almost a rip off of the very first original movie) by screwing over Luke Skywalker and killing off the villian Snoke...
The politicized 'woke' if the LAST movie in the saga must clear up a lot of loose ends. George Lucas was even brought in to save it!
I'm anxious to hear John Williams' musical score and hope that I will find the movie enjoyable and original, hoping its not a ripoff of Return of the Jedi.
As for Ridley, she may end up like Hayden Christianson who played Anakin/Vader in the prequels.....

Like every other Hollyweird movie over the last ten years, the Star Wars franchise had to have a female character as the hero, the leader, and the head of everything.

Isn't this the movie that glorifies perversion? Heroes a transvestites, butches, and whatnot? You know, Disney's contribution to the perverts.

I have never ever seen a whole Star Wars movie. I never understood the attraction, either. I've seen snippets while channel-surfing but that's it. As for this actress, keep in mind that her career is based on uttering lines written by other people. Careers based on illusions don't enlarge credibility.

Daisy nor Disney care about the American audience anymore. They only want Chinese money. Everything they do is to pander to the Chinese.
She thinks she's gamine but (to borrow another Ldotter's description) a "meat" stick with a too-big mouth with teeth and the acting chops of gelatinous swamp goo. Daisy plays Kathleen Kennedy's Mary Sue fantasy and certainly benefits from that, but she will NEVER be a Princess Leia. Geriatric Harry Ford has a geriatic thing for her, but his shining star has long since passed and he will spend the rest of days wondering why. He got what he wanted now he can sit back and fantasize himself.
I recently watched JJ's reboot of Star TREK, and decided I would take back all the good things I thought about it. I was open to its new possibilities, but after seeing his deeply cynical and nihilistic treatment of the Star Wars franchise, I have serious problems with the ST reboot. That's too bad, JJ. You will always been known as that marketing flunkie who deserves to be set in a back room somewhere developing pick-up lines for the newest commercial, you insidious overpaid vainglorious hack.
