It’s widely accepted that one of Hillary Clinton’s worst blunders as a presidential candidate involved her proclivity to insult large swaths of the electorate. Mudslinging is hardly a new phenomenon on the campaign trail, of course, but most politicians reserve their calumny for opposing candidates. Clinton’s innovation was to turn her invective on the voters. Yet, even as the Democrats endeavor to undo the electoral consequences of her ineptitude, many of their candidates continue to follow Clinton’s deplorable example. As recently as last week, former Vice President Joe Biden, “Mayor Pete” Buttigieg, and Senator Kamala Harris felt the need to remind prospective voters of their multifarious shortcomings.

When the leaders of the party openly express contempt for those who dare support the opposition they have no interest in coexisting with us. They have every intention of eliminating us as an opposing force. We must be shamed into irrelevance so that the one party Chicago style machine model can sweep the nation. Look how well that's worked out for Chicago. These jackasses have no idea what would happen if they would happen to be successful. They are attacking their source of food, housing, energy, all that is produced my the makers of wealth in this country.

Most U.S. citizens are hardworking, responsible people who care for their families and want minimal government that will leave them alone if they are not hurting anybody. They greatly resent pompous self appointed elitists that want to micromanage every aspect of their lives while taxing and spending to buy votes and make their cronies rich. When citizens object to being treated like mindless idiots and resent having the elitists crackpot ideas rammed down their throats, instead of gleefully the dictates of their "betters", the elites label them as "deplorable." The label "deplorable" is coming to mean anybody resisting the totalitarian domination of the elitists.

I was proud of W when he, against the demented ragings of the Democrats, the media, the UN, and most of our "allies", actually went to war and crushed al-Qaeda. I was distressed in his 2nd term and became a Tea Partier. In 2008 I was aghast that Americans could elect, then re-elect! a phoney Marxist Islam-sympathizer. But I have never been more proud of a president than I am proud of President Trump. At long last, a president who fights back against, instead of pandering to, the evil Left. And, God willing, we have only seen the start of it.

Reading the article, I was struck by the statement (true) that everyone has something in their past and basically, should be given some slack. The article failed to state that that only applies to people like Kamala Harris and liberal democrats. It does not apply to PDT, his conservative voters or Republicans.

Democrats live in a virtual world. Their beliefs and opinions are formed between themselves on social media, the old media, and the education establishment that indoctrinates them. They really don't understand or relate to Americans outside their bubble. If you are a senior citizen, or even a middle-age citizen, talk to many college students- even those that are apolitical- and you will find that most of them are woefully ignorant about the world. They live in cyberspace, except for short excursions required by life. They don't understand socialism, communism, Marxism, fascism, history, or our Constitution. They are sheep that can be stampeded by charlatans, about things they don't understand.

Very good article and insight. Joe Biden's age has nothing to do with his evil bad temper he was like that twenty years ago. Watch and listen to that buffoon in Senate hearings in the old days when he had rows of 'hair plugs'. That's the real Joe Biden let's just say he has gelled. That mayor Buttigieg fellow sure cast a large net with his reference to 63 million Americans. Sounds like he doesn't want to win. Kamala Harris didn't disappoint she had race card up her sleeve since day one the problem with her she was unliked by blacks too so she blamed the 'white folks' for her short comings. I don't where these buffoons will end up but it's bleak for them all.

The New York State attorney general has issued a new subpoena to the National Rifle Association, deepening her eight-month investigation and providing fresh clues about where it is headed, according to people with knowledge of the document. The subpoena, which was described to The New York Times, was issued last week and covers at least four areas, including campaign finance, payments made to board members and tax compliance. Because the N.R.A. is chartered in New York and the office of the attorney general, Letitia James, has a range of enforcement options, the investigation has alarmed N.R.A. officials already grappling with infighting and litigation.

In early October, Elizabeth Warren hit her stride. Her stock in the Democratic primary had been climbing steadily since midsummer, and as Joe Biden continued to lag, the Massachusetts senator became the first presidential hopeful to overtake him as front-runner in the RealClearPolitics polling average. She’s been in free fall ever since. Warren now sits at just 14.8 percent in the RCP average, in third place behind Bernie Sanders, with about half the support Biden has. The former vice president has lost a step or two (or several) since his time as Obama’s right-hand man, but it’s looking less and less likely that Warren will be the Democrat to supplant

After three years of trying to oust President Donald Trump from the White House – using everything from Russia! Russia! The House Judiciary Committee is hearing “presentations of evidence” from attorneys representing the Democrat majority and Republican minority in order to formalize articles of impeachment against Trump. Former federal prosecutor Andrew C. McCarthy told Fox News that after the testimony by Intelligence Committee majority counsel Daniel Goldman, it boils down to four things

It’s now official: Russia, Russia, Russia really was fake news from the start. There was no factual basis for the FBI to spy on Donald Trump’s campaign. That means there was no need for the appointment of a special counsel and that Robert Mueller should have stayed in retirement. It means the two years of rumors and accusations and the giant cloud of suspicions over the White House produced by Mueller’s headhunters were unfair and unjustified. It also means J. Edgar Hoover can finally rest in peace. James Comey is now revealed to be the dirtiest cop ever to run the FBI.
