Lindsey Graham does not
want Schiff or other Congressmen

impeachment trial

Is the ghost of John McCain haunting Senator Lindsey Graham? The South Carolina Senator went on Maria Bartiromo’s Fox News show, Sunday Morning Futures, to throw a wet blanket on conservatives’ dreams of a Senate trial that would get to the bottom of the plot against President Trump. He wants to leave all those rocks in place, turning nothing over to see what crawls out. Instead, once the House managers present their case, he wants a quick vote, presumably ending in dismissal of the case. In particular, Graham ruled out calling Adam Schiff to testify.

As an obvious co-conspirator in the criminal (not to mention evil) coup attempt, Schiff and his equally guilty media thugs belong nowhere but behind bars. Maybe that's what Lindsey means...?

Can't there be found a Senator who actually likes this country? Someone who would like to makeitg somewhat uncomfortable for their colleagues to commit treason? Power seems to have absolutely corrupted Lindsey Graham.

I listened to Alan Dershowitz with Mark Levin on tv last night. He has never seen America so divided. Yes, he blames Trump's rhetoric but he blames the left, particularly, for this debacle fake impeachment. The left is not trying to bring this country together with the impeachment shenanigans. Having Schiff testify won't change the fact that the impeachment is going nowhere. Lindsey is just trying to make it go away. He can leave the prosecution to the DOJ.

The question no one here has asked is why Lindsey Graham doesn’t want Adam Schiff to testify. Yes, some “assume” or “feel” or “conjecture” that he is acting in bad faith (and therefore doesn’t love his country), but unless you’re a Democrat, that’s not enough to go on.

I agree with Lindsey. The senate would be turned into a circus if they move to a situation where Schiff could be prosecuted. I do believe however that the DOJ should aggressively move forward on Schiff for al he has done. Another alternative would be to bring Tom Shillue before the Senate and have him testify. It would produce more facts.

Adam Schiff needs to be held responsible for the things he has done. He has continually lied to the American people. He made up and read a totally false narrative regarding the phone call between President and Zelensky and did not indicate that it was made up until he was called on it. He is an abomination. He needs to be hauled before the American people to account for what he has done. I don’t care where the venue is, but this liar must be made to face serious questions that the American people have the right to have answered. Just put him a room with Jim Jordan or Devin Nunes and televise it.

At this point, I would bet that more than half of the senators, representing both parties, have been receiving payments from Ukraine. That is why they are afraid to start throwing stones at the other party because if anyone appears to go down, they will finally decide to take the whole bunch with them. You can't create the kind of wealth these people acquire on a salary of $350,000 a year. As President Truman observed, "Anyone who gets rich in politics is a crook". At least Trump gained his wealth BEFORE he went into office. Most of the others gained theirs AFTER they entered politics.

You can bet your boots that there is a lot more DC “UniParty” political corruption involving US foreign aid monies that was sent to Ukraine, involving other “UniParty” unidentified politicians and their family members, then the public knows about at the moment, and it is obvious that Lindsey Graham intends to keep it that way. Remember a couple of weeks ago when Joseph Biden publicly warned Graham not to conduct investigations into Ukrainian corruption, because if he did, that Graham would regret it for the rest of his life. Just remember, the Democrats cannot succeed in their coup without help from the Republicans. Watch the Republicans. Just go through the list of Republican Senators, and realize there are some that would stab the nation and its citizens in the back. It doesn't look like the Republicans will side with the Democrats, but that can change given the correct incentive. Washington is corrupt. There is a price for impeachment. Washington will follow through on impeachment if the price is right. There are a number of billionaires showing increased interest in our government, and they are throwing money around like never before. There is also foreign influence. The election of Donald Trump upset many apple carts, and some very rich influential people are very unhappy.
