The House Judiciary Committee on Saturday released a report laying out what they believe are the impeachable offenses against President Donald Trump before the committee’s hearing on Monday. “The Framers worst nightmare is what we are facing in this very moment. President Trump abused his power, betrayed our national security, and corrupted our elections, all for personal gain. The Constitution details only one remedy for this misconduct: impeachment,” House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler said in a statement as the report was released. READ THE FULL REPORT HERE:

Trump & Rudy have been investigating interference with the 2016 election, for which a Special Counsel was appointed and investigated DJT and the Trump Campaign. Any overlap with the 2020 election is due Democrat malfeasance, not Trump looking to dirty up Joe Biden. Don't forget, Joe Biden is not running against Donald Trump. He is running against a field of fellow democrats. What Trump and Rudy are investigating all goes back to 2016.

Note the end of Nadler's Forward: He and the members of his committee are not in agreement (necessarily) with this report. It is the work of his lawfare elves. It represents their beliefs. Second, on page 6, those lawfare elves extend "crime" to "wrongthink." If Trump does something perfectly legal and right BUT he thought wrong thoughts about it, he can be impeached for that! There is no forgiveness for not following thru on the wrong deeds. There is no relief from the guilt for ever thinking those wrong thoughts. And President Trump has already thought wrong thoughts, so, impeachment is the only remedy.

"The views and conclusions contained in the report are staff views and do not necessarily reflect those of the Committee on the Judiciary or any of its members." ANY of its members...get that? After it goes nowhere no one can be blamed come campaign time.

U.S. Attorney John Durham issued a statement contradicting a key and consequential conclusion of Inspector General Michael Horowitz, and reads in part: …”last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened.” (Snip) What inspector general Horowitz outlines in that key section is that: (A) he has reviewed everything, and talked to everyone (current and former) within the FBI; and (B) the ONLY evidence they FBI cited for the opening of Crossfire Hurricane is the singular conversation between George Papadopoulos and Australian Ambassador Alexander Downer and/or Downer’s asst. Let’s be clear, U.S. Attorney John Durham is as no-nonsense as it gets. That’s the reason why he was selected to do the ONLY full and comprehensive investigation, with the power to indict, into the Deep-State manipulations that took place before, during, and after the 2016 election – manipulations that were intended to negate that election’s outcome and create a coup to remove President Trump from office. Today, Mr. Durham made clear the IG report is not even close to being the last word on this matter and in fact came up woefully short in helping to reveal the truth. Durham’s words are said to be inciting a great deal of

As far-left Democrats yell about bribery and high crimes and misdemeanors, let's turn to their own side of the aisle, starting with the once penniless President Obama, who left public office a very, very rich man. He just bought a Martha's Vineyard mansion for a cool $11.75 million, which is in addition to his Kalorama lookout post, his Chicago home, and possibly a Hawaii spread. At some point, you've made enough...but not him. Ostensibly, it's mainly the work of his book deals. No bribery there, right? Well, ahem... According to Investment Watch (IWB), something doesn't quite look right.

Today, Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz will reportedly issue his findings on the U.S. Department of Justice and FBI’s compliance (or lack thereof) with the legal requirements and internal policies and procedures related to the Carter Page Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) applications. Horowitz’s report follows a 20-month investigation into possible FISA abuse, as well as an inquiry into the DOJ and FBI’s relationship and communications with dossier author Christopher Steele, triggered by requests from then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions and members of Congress. Horowitz’s investigation was limited in scope and thus will leave unanswered many of the questions surrounding the FBI’s targeting of the Trump campaign in the spring

Last week, a friend of mine gave me the perfect metaphor for explaining impeachment. An ancient Buddhist parable relates that six blind men were wandering through the wilderness and encountered an elephant. Since none of them had ever seen such a creature, they each described it based on the part that they could feel. So each one consequently called it a rope (tail), wall (flank), tree (leg), spear (tusk), snake (trunk), and mat (ear). This is the case with the farcical three-year impeachment quest that has seized much of the media and the political system since Donald Trump won the election.

The South Carolina Senator went on Maria Bartiromo’s Fox News show, Sunday Morning Futures, to throw a wet blanket on conservatives’ dreams of a Senate trial that would get to the bottom of the plot against President Trump. A Methodist church in Claremont unveiled a nativity scene Saturday night depicting Jesus, Mary and Joseph as refugees in cages, likening one of the most well-known images of the Christmas season to photos that have become synonymous with criticism of the Trump administration’s border separation policies. The display, which has stoked debate on the Facebook page of the church’s lead pastor, shows classic nativity figurines of Joseph and Mary in cages on either side of a cage containing the manger of Jesus. “We see this as, in some ways, the Holy Family standing in for the nameless families,” said the Rev. Many Americans remain nonplussed over revelations in the House Intelligence Committee’s Impeachment Inquiry Report that its chairman, Adam Schiff, not only secretly subpoenaed telephone records from President Trump’s attorney, Rudy Giuliani, but also obtained responses that detailed dates and lengths of phone calls to Trump attorney Jay Sekulow, ranking committee member Devin Nunes, and Hill reporter John Solomon. That Schiff self-disclosed this action as a rightful part of his committee’s information gathering is equally stunning. Every bit as bad, it appears that national telephone carriers AT&T and Verizon, who so tout their corporate concerns about subscriber privacy, responded to such obviously politicized demands without a whimper.

Alshamrani, who was killed in the attack at a classroom building Friday, was undergoing flight training at Pensacola, where members of foreign militaries routinely receive instruction.

Portland, Oregon, like many cities on the left coast, is struggling with a growing homelessness crisis. But what can they do about it? One idea that’s now being floated is to change the building codes so that all new structures (including private property, not just government buildings) include spaces for people to “rest” and “feel welcome and safe.” This understandably has prospective property owners concerned, since the wording is all quite vague and suggests that they will be forced to allow the homeless to camp in and around their buildings.
