Former top attorney for Obama
suggests Dems should impeach
Trump again if Senate acquits

Original Article

An impeachment trial in the Republican-led Senate is largely expected to fail but that may not stop some Democrats from pushing for another impeachment after President Trump's would-be reelection in 2020. "If the Senate doesn’t vote to convict Trump, or tries to monkey w his trial, he could of course be retried in the new Senate should he win re-election," tweeted Neal Katyal, who served as acting solicitor general under former President Obama. "Double jeopardy protections do not apply," he added, referring to the principle that suspects can't be tried twice for the same crime. "And Senators voting on impeachment in the next months know this."

Comments:

Just when you though you had heard the stupidest and most insane thing, a new lunatic opens his yap and tops it all.

If they do this a second time, that really would be the kickoff of a civil war.

The good news is that if they impeach President Trump, I think that they will lose enough House seats next November that they won't be able to do it again.
And I question whether there are enough deranged lemmings in even the Dem House to dive over the cliff alongside Nutty, Nasty Nancy. We will see.

Doing this would be another big nail in the DNC for years, but it pales in comparison to the damage that will follow if and when the citizens get to dig deep enough to find out just what they have been up to for decades. To me the biggest clue is how politicians can go in with not a lot of money to their name and end up multi-millionaires with lifetime benefits. Case in point, Bill Clinton, a woman chasing sheister governor and his carpet bagging, look the other way spouse. It would take a lot of heavy equipment to dig up and expose all the damage Obama, a "community organizer" who can now afford a multimillion dollar estate in Martha's Vineyard and unending trips to Europe, did during his tenure. That is their real fear. The damage they have done being known to all. It has precious little to do with serving the citizens of our nation. The real bad side of this is the complete destruction of the Democrat party whose vacuum would be rapidly filled with a now face-bared Socialist Party. 2020 will truly be an "all hands on deck" situation, we best hope those who really care deeply about our great nation do not sit on their hands this time around.

The commies are floundering. The traitors know their time is short, yet still hoping to play out the clock. The impeachment frenzy will be overwhelmed with the Horowitz report on Monday, followed with a slam-bang by Durham at precisely the right time. Donald Trump is a master of timing and unfolding a narrative. I trust his knowledge, experience and instincts. On Monday, I believe we'll see the curtain going up on Act III. An observation for my fellow Catholic Ldotters: December 8th is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the BVM. However, this year the 8th falls on a Sunday and the liturgy of the Second Sunday of Advent takes precedence. Therefore the Church will celebrate the Immaculate Conception on Monday, December 9th. (Not a Holy Day of Obligation this year since it falls on a Monday.) I raise this point about the liturgical year because Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception is the patron saint of the United States. AG Barr is a Catholic. Did he choose this date on purpose, or did our Blessed Mother?

Democrats like Neal Katyal expose their world view that they do have, and should have, permanent unbridled political power. The reality is different. It seems more likely that they will lose the power that they presently have in the House after the voters have seen how they used that power. The Democrats' sense of entitlement to power also explains their maniacal rage at losing elections. The days of "peaceful transition of power" seem to be over, as far as the Democrats are concerned: they will have power or they will disrupt and destroy - no peace and no compromise.

"... tried twice for the same crime." What crime? Even one. Name the code of the violation. All they've got is allegation and innuendo, but not even an actual crime (let alone a grave offense). All the ominous music played under the headlines mask that what they accuse him of doing isn't even against the law, let alone an impeachable offense -- and they haven't even got proof that he did that.

The danger of reliance on electrical generation power sources that can suddenly surge or diminish the way wind and solar energy do was highlighted by a major blackout that left central Australia and the "major" town of Alice Springs without electricity for up to nine hours. Yesterday, two top energy officials in the Northern Territory lost their jobs over the fiasco:  The Northern Territory Labor government has sacked the territory's two most senior energy chiefs following a damming report from the market regulator into a "system black" event that hit the city of Alice Springs in October.

Surf the conservative websites, and you'll find endless articles and comments asking, "Why do the Democrats hate Trump so much? Why are they so hell-bent on impeaching him?" Until the past year, there really wasn't any explanation out there, but with what we've learned since 2018 from FBI texts, tapes, and emails, as well as other disclosures, a wide, sweeping campaign to undermine a Trump presidency was in the works well before he was even elected. Why is that? To answer that, we need to consider what it was about Hillary Clinton winning in 2016 that was so crucial to Democrats that the Obama administration's CIA

I’ve raised these concerns in an article for The Atlantic, and suggested potential changes to their system–like moving it closer to shore–that would protect the open ocean. After all, my efforts to raise awareness have been met with tremendous support from fellow scientists and the general public.
