The Republican Party is the Party of Lincoln, Honest Abe being its first president. But by the time the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary arrive, the major candidates for the Democratic Party’s nomination may find they’ve turned their brand into the Party of Lyin’. Most recently, there was South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, surging in Iowa of late, whose inconvenient recorded comments from 2011 were unearthed and proceeded to go viral. “There are a lot of kids, especially in low-income, minority neighborhoods, where they just haven’t seen it [education] work,” Buttigieg had observed, adding: “There isn’t someone they know personally who attests to

Really? Politicians lie? Who knew? And, of course, it's only Democrats who are BS artists, except Bush41, whose lips we once read. The fact is that no one wants "truth" that conflicts with "belief" - it causes cognitive dissonance. To think that there could be a coup going on in the way! That the FBI, Justice Department, intel agencies and even the military are way! That the Democrat and Republican establishments act as a profiteering UNIPARTY that rig the system...can't be! The basic truth of politics and government is we are all being lied to...and oftentimes by people we "trust". PDT may himself be a BS artist, but he is clearly the enemy of these liars and crooks entrenched in the Swamp.

John Kerry comes up with a politico-

Welp. Looks like having just one Davos, that unholy celebrity-business-politico festival of globaloney held in elite Switzerland, isn't enough. John Kerry is creating what sounds like another, a cavalcade of the usual big names of has-beens and never-brains for the purpose of lecturing all us pudknockers about global warming, jetting in and out on plumes of carbon compounds. He calls it "World War Zero" because we're supposed to be panicking, and thus, giving up our tremendous freedoms and way of life to ... them, probably so they can make money.

With millions to shell out for ads, Michael Bloomberg sure has an amazing way of motivating voters to not want to vote for him. Here's his big rollout ad, played ad nauseum, in California: Transcript, cue electronic music: "He could've just been the middle class kid who made good. Mike Bloomberg became the guy who did good. After building a business that created thousands of jobs, he took charge of a city still reeling from 9/11. A three-term mayor who helped bring it back from the ashes, bring jobs and thousands of affordable housing units..." Stop, Bloomie. Stop right there. Since when does being middle class exclude doing good?

The New York Times is operating in a pure propaganda mode, attempting to minimize the impact of the forthcoming (Dec. 9) report of the Department of Justice Inspector General, Michael Horowitz. Sundance, of The Conservative Treehouse, calls his article on leaks from the report, “highly structured obfuscation,” doing justice to the careful and artful misleading of readers. Keep in mind in understanding these leaks that principals named in an IG report are afforded an opportunity to comment on sections of the report that mention them prior to publication of the report. They don’t see the entire report, only those sections directly involving them.

Fired Navy Secretary Richard V. Spencer is not going away. In a swiftly executed Washington Post op-ed less than a week after President Trump's defense secretary had him fired, he's now telling everyone how much smarter he is than President Trump and making it clear he never liked the guy anyway. The case of Chief Petty Officer Edward Gallagher, a Navy SEAL who was charged with multiple war crimes before being convicted of a single lesser charge earlier this year, was troubling enough before things became even more troubling over the past few weeks. The trail of events

Bloomberg – the news service, not the candidate – made headlines this week when its editor in chief told reporters they were not allowed to investigate Michael Bloomberg, or any other Democrat running for president this year. That ban doesn’t, however, extend to President Donald Trump. Wait. Isn’t that what journalists at Bloomberg (and every other mainstream news outlet) were going to do anyway? To be sure, when he joined the presidential race, Bloomberg put his massive eponymous news organization in a bind. How could Bloomberg News credibly cover the candidacy of the guy signing their paychecks?

CBS's 60 Minutes could have had an interesting story about how middle class people in El Salvador are entering the U.S. illegally now, yet are generally tenderfoots when they enter the illegal alien scene as well as ill-equipped to take on the elements as previous Central American rural poor have successfully done. But why do a truthful story like that when a cookie-cutter activist narrative is out there to parrot the leftist line that President Trump is evil for trying to keep a border on the U.S. and everyone in El Salvador is poor and oppressed and dodging bullets?

The press is making a big deal out of Britain's Prince Andrew now being ousted from public life, based on his pretty gamy associations with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. He had his hand draped around the bare midriff of a 17-year old, in one photo. He kibbitzed with Epstein after his Florida slap-on-the-wrist conviction and there's a photograph there, too. Flight records show he rode the Lolita Express. And incredibly, he claims he never knew anything untoward was going on. A little rich there, old chap. Or very, very, naive... U.K.'s Daily Mail has this comprehensive report, reasonably explored from a U.K. perspective. But the U.S. press has been all over it, too.

LeBron and fellow basketballer Chris Paul were leaving the Mohagany Prime Steakhouse in Oklahoma City when the fans, who were recording the encounter, approached. Before entering a waiting SUV, James lifted his leg and offered a burst of flatulence so loud it was picked by the camera’s audio from the other side of the parking lot, TMZ reported. It’s been a banner week for farting news, with Rep. Eric Swalwell also making national headlines

Pope Francis has condemned the “evil” bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima, calling the attacks a “tragic episode in human history.” “I will soon visit Nagasaki and Hiroshima, where I will offer prayers for the victims of the catastrophic bombing of these two cities, and echo your own prophetic calls for nuclear disarmament,” the pope told an assembly of the nation’s bishops in Tokyo Saturday evening, shortly after his arrival in the country. “I wish to meet those who still bear the wounds of this tragic episode in human history, as well as the victims of the triple disaster,” he said. “Their continued sufferings

Elizabeth Warren, one of the Democratic frontrunners for president, has problems with black voters, and one of them is persistent lying. According to the Washington Free Beacon: Warren denied sending her children to private schools, despite the fact that she sent her son to an elite private school. Confronted with a group of angry black parents who oppose her anti-charter schools stance, she tried to feed them a cock-and-bull story about how her own kids went to public schools instead of private ones, so the woman should be happy.

The parents of an 18-month-old boy who died in September from malnourishment have been arrested by Florida police on charges of manslaughter and child neglect. On Sept. 27, around 4 a.m., Sheila O'Leary nursed the child briefly and, she told authorities, became worried when he began breathing shallowly, the Florida Fort Myers News-Press reported. Rather than call for help, though, the O'Learys went to sleep. The paramedics who responded to a 911 call later that day pronounced the boy dead at the Cape Coral, Florida, home; he weighed just 17 pounds when he died,

It’s one of the questions you’re not supposed to ask in public but everyone talks about in private: What’s going on with Matt Drudge? For conservatives, the Drudge Report was a one-stop shop for news on the Internet starting in the late 1990s. When Matt first broke the scandal involving the President of the United States and an intern, his place at the top of alternative media, as it was called then, was secured. As always, imitators followed. But none came close to combing as many news outlets and boiling down the essence of stories like Drudge. That was his magic – he’d plow through stories and

Trump said the wall had been tested by “world-class mountain climbers,” and referenced “pictures of young people climbing walls with drugs on their back--a lot of drugs.”

California Sen. Kamala Harris should never have run for president in the first place. Her ambition far exceeded her ability. She hadn’t yet established herself in the U.S. Senate. And she hadn’t exactly excelled in her previous job as California’s attorney general. There wasn’t much of a record worth bragging about on the campaign trail. After being elected to the Senate in a 2016 cakewalk, she should have spent the next three years focused exclusively on representing Californians in Congress, helping the state on such vital issues as water development, environmental protection, healthcare and homelessness. But people around her — political advisors and her sister Maya Harris

In 2018, he held the annual Mayor’s Night Out — an open-listening event to let residents quiz city officials — at a Salvation Army community center.
