Climate activists turn attention to Black Friday:
'Shoppers cannot ignore the climate emergency'

Black Friday is now a global tradition and, for climate activists, a global problem. Young people worldwide planned to hold thousands of demonstrations Friday to protest overconsumption and draw attention to climate change ahead of a United Nations climate conference Monday. In Chicago, demonstrators with the Sunrise Movement Chicago, the Illinois Youth Climate Strike, and other organizations planned to occupy Watertower Place, a major downtown shopping mall. "We will be disrupting business as usual to make sure shoppers cannot ignore the climate emergency," said coordinator Lillie Schneyer, 23. "Watertower Place is an ideal setting for us to draw attention to the culpability of large corporations and fast fashion

I was out both yesterday and today and I didn't see a single protester. Those morons ought to get coal in their stockings and socks and underwear under the tree!!

The only "emergency" is some horse's hind end getting in the way and being a total jerk about some scam. Seems like time for a few fat lips from shoppers.

Today was my second non-retail Black Friday in the past 10 years. Delightful. Quitting was the best thing I ever did...restored my sanity and my foot/back health. I wish I would have encountered some of these bozos when I was still there...ho ho ho.

Just because you go shopping on one particular day of the year doesn’t mean you’re over consuming. Morons. Go attack people who sail to and from Europe on yachts. Oh wait, that’s on the approved list.

'Shoppers cannot ignore the climate emergency' Sure we can. I don't happen to shop on the day after TG, but I'm old, and I don't happen to shop much anyway. But I certainly don't stay home because of any climate emergency. In fact, if I were inclined to shop today, I wouldn't because it was cold and nasty.

It was in the 60's and 70's here the last couple of days -- which is 100% normal weather for this part of Texas in late November!!!!! The roads were packed around the malls, shopping centers, and big stores. Even in a lie-beral cesspool like Austin, TX, I didn't see any reports of protestors. Maybe they were too stuffed from eating their tofu and bean sprouts for "Hate America Day" -- that day we sane Americans call Thanksgiving Day!!!!!

It was a spectacular case of bad timing: the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has demanded that former New York City mayor and new presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg apologize for a counterterror program that operated on his watch – just as a Muslim was arrested for plotting a jihad massacre on the city’s subway system. Farhana Khera, the leader of Muslim Advocates, demanded that Bloomberg “disavow this program.” CAIR’s Ahmed Mohamed sounded a religious note, saying that Bloomberg must “see the error of his ways and apologize.” What did this terrible program do? The New York Post explains: “Basically, cops (mainly Muslims themselves)

Every Christmas season, it appears we have to endure listening to the race hustlers and the gay patrol complain about the one channel left in America that does not partake in envelope-pushing. The Hallmark channel really is the last known entertainment that does not engage in the culture wars by pushing "diversity" for the sake of pleasing the agitators and instead focuses on its demographics; white moms and grandmas. But these days, being white and enjoying things white people like is a cause for concern and mockery. I'm white, and a mom,

Whodathunk it? President Trump's little laser pointer trick on the press, posting a Photoshop of himself as "Rocky" to tweak those pompous clowns, had a knock-on effect 8,140 miles away. As President Trump flew overhead to Afghanistan to cheer the U.S. troops there, Hong Kong's locals waved the "Rocky" picture as their own emblem of victory, identifying easily with Trump's fighter image. They also waved thousands of American flags and sang The Star-Spangled Banner, too, in what was billed as a Thanksgiving for America rally. Here's the New York Post: President Trump is Hong Kong's sudden hero. Hours after he signed two bills to support human rights in Hong Kong, angering Chinese government officials,

For the U.S. troops abroad, President Trump made a major personal sacrifice by skipping his own Thanksgiving in order to surprise them by helping to serve them theirs. Under cover of secrecy, he flew nearly 7,000 miles, met with them, praised and cheered them, took selfies with them, served them in the chow line, and generally gave the brave fighting men and women in the world's most forlorn hellhole something to smile about. It was a lovely presidential gesture, well in keeping with past presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, who also made holiday trips to cheer the troops.

Federal officers recently intercepted nearly 3,000 fake driver’s licenses and more than 3,100 blank card stocks used to make counterfeit licenses in Kentucky, according to US Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The IDs were heading from China to various locations in New York, the federal agency said, adding that the fake driver’s licenses were seized at an Express Consignment Operations hub in Louisville, Ky. The licenses were for several states, including Florida, Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, New Jersey and Ohio. Authorities in Louisville notified CBP officers in Memphis since the fake identification cards were also shipped to that area, resulting in an additional 527 counterfeit driver’s licenses in Tennessee, officials said.

Although it's far from a lead-pipe cinch, a plausible case is to be made that the former first lady Michelle Obama may enter the Democratic primary race. There are three reasons for believing this. First and most obvious is the current field of contenders for the Democrat nomination. As has often been said, they resemble occupants in a clown car that tumble out together for their periodic debates. The emotion that they instill in the general public is not one of enthusiasm but fear. The most seemingly stable among the Democrat field is former Vice President Joe Biden. But Slow Joe is

Bad weather on Thanksgiving week can be stressful in the best of circumstances. But this week’s outbreak of TV weather hysteria was a sight to behold. For days on end, even Trump news was booted from the top of the network evening newscasts by dire warnings of the “triple storm danger” heading across the country and the “holiday travel nightmare” likely to result. The reports hit all the usual TV-weather bases: shots of skidding cars and chugging snowplows; airport scenes of passengers stranded by flight delays; Al Roker bounding among the weather maps as though he were plotting a military operation. Two of the nation’s last three presidents won the presidency in the Electoral College, even though they lost the popular vote nationwide. In 2000, Al Gore outpolled George W. Sixteen years later, Hillary Clinton tallied almost 3 million more votes than Donald Trump but lost decisively in the Electoral College, 306–232. And, as a recent New York Times poll suggested, the 2020 election could very well again deliver the presidency to the loser of the popular vote.
