CNN Guest: Trump Is
‘Destructive Cult’ Leader,
Uses ‘Mind Control’ on Supporters

CNN Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter on Sunday provided a platform to Steven Hassan — an author and self-proclaimed expert on “cults” — allowing him to go unchallenged when he claimed President Donald Trump is the leader of a “destructive cult,” who is deploying mind control to cement support among his “obedient followers.” Hassan — a former member of the Unification Church in the 1970s — appeared on Stelter’s program to promote his newly-released book, The Cult of Trump. A partial transcript is as follows: BRIAN STELTER: The word “cult” has been popping up more and more.

Rush predicted this yesterday. The use of the word “cult“ would be cropping up more and more. Once again he was right.

It is much more the case that Leftist fit the "Cult" paradigm with their religious obsessions with climate change and other Utopian causes which seem immune to logic and fact. Further, they are quick to demonize those who dare to question or disagree. Once again the Leftist accusation proves to be confessional.

So, following the order of projection, the leftists are telling us that they are a destructive cult. News flash! They use mind control on their voters. Hmmmm. . . I wonder who is their leader? Besides satan. Does the following sound like leftists, or what? Is there such a thing as a healthy cult? Seriously? FTA: "STEVEN HASSAN: I define a destructive cult as an authoritarian pyramid-structured group with someone at the top who claims to have total power and total wisdom that uses the deception and control of behavior, information, thoughts, and emotions to make people loyal and dependent and obedient followers. For me, the issue between an ethical healthy cult, where you’re free to think and free to leave, versus a destructive cult. I’m referring to Trump’s organization and followership as a destructive cult, where people are being fed propaganda and they’re not being encouraged to think for themselves. They’re not being encouraged to really explore and look at the details and arrive at their own conclusion. Much of what they’re hearing is emotionally driven, loaded words, thought-stopping and thought-terminating-type clichés like “fake news” or “build the wall” or “make America great again.”"

Hmmm . . . was Stelter and Hassan talking about Obama. Pretty much an apt description of Obama and his cult-like following. Especially the Press. There was a lot of deception and behavior control going on those 8 years of the Lightbringer.

Maybe the reason this is popping up as a word to describe PDJT is that former NXIVM members are disclosing activities involving the cult. There's an article on with info about prominent dems. Projection is their weapon every time.

Nobody knows better than Steven Hassan that cults challenge your beliefs and values. They shame you for them driving you into a state of depression and then the reconstruct you by offering salvation first by identifying someone / something else as the boogie; yes you are a horrible person and it's good you finally get that, but it isn't your fault. It was how you were influenced by.....and now by accepting the theology of the cult you can be saved and join the elite, become elite. Where is the shaming for leftist views? Rallying around shallow slogans does not constitute the mind control process.

He cannot control the minds of the far-out left, because their minds are dead. The cult is the cult of Marxism-Leninism, championed by Bernardo Sandernista and Alexa Occasional-Cortex. Who is the cultist? The one who believes in something for nothing (socialist) or the one who believes that using capital wisely produces more capital. Today's socialists remind me of the cargo cultists of the Pacific Islands, who built fake quonset huts in the hope of attracting U S goods, following World War II. Pity they don't just go to Canada for their medical care. Really: which ones are brainwashed?

The old cliché is true: Politics is the art of the possible. That's why the Democrats need to abandon their quest to remove President Trump from office by way of impeachment — because doing so is going to be impossible. It was always going to be the longest of long shots. In all of American history, a president has never been removed through impeachment — let alone when the president's own party has held the majority in the Senate, where the impeachment trial takes place and conviction and removal requires an incredibly steep two-thirds majority vote. Add in the extreme polarization of the present

Where are the Democrats going next? Prior to this past week, for days Adam Schiff had concocted a pretty effective fix. He conducted secret impeachment inquiries in the House basement. Schiff kept quiet about his rigged rules. He orchestrated selective media leaks from the opening statements of favorable witnesses and then more or less threatened with ethical violations any Republican member who copied his tactics and leaked their own often effective cross-examinations. The result was that the public heard only from Schiff about Schiff’s damning slam-dunk hearings. A drip-by-drip melting of both Trump’s polls and resistance to impeachment followed.

Impeachment is a political process. No sentient being, after all, believes that Adam Schiff or Nancy Pelosi are good-faith guardians of constitutional order. And judging the process strictly on political grounds, it hasn’t been a success for Democrats. For one thing, impeachment, if it happens, will effectively end up being a partisan censure of the president. Democrats haven’t gotten any closer to convincing a single Senate Republican to contemplate removing the president. Certainly not Mitch McConnell, who says there will be a quick trial. Not even Mitt Romney, who, at this point, is aptly troubled but uncommitted. It’s highly probable, in fact, that a Senate trial run by Republicans,

Harvard–Yale climate-change protests last weekend help explain why Americans aren’t buying global-warming extremism or the tantrums of angry youngsters. Are environmental activists changing the hearts and minds of Americans about global warming, inspiring them to treat it as a pressing crisis? So far, the results are mixed, as we saw last Saturday when climate protesters stormed the field to disrupt the annual Harvard–Yale football game. The stunt earned more boos than cheers from the crowd at the Yale Bowl in New Haven. Polls have shown that more Americans than ever before are aware of climate-change as an issue, but they are mixed about whether it is a “crisis”

In the next phase of the impeachment proceedings currently underway against President Donald Trump, the task of the House of Representatives will be to determine what offenses are impeachable and whether the facts, as found by the House Intelligence Committee, constitute such impeachable actions. This should not be a difficult job. Perhaps we can save Congress some time and, based on what we have seen publicly discussed, make those determinations. The Constitution provides, in Article II, Section 4, that impeachable offenses are “Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

On July 25, 2019, President Donald Trump picked up the phone in the White House residence and attempted to shake down a foreign leader. Trump’s language was elliptical and soft, not direct and threatening, but his intentions were clear: He wanted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy to “do us a favor.” That was Trump’s entree to his improper, indecent requests that Zelenskiy’s government undertake two investigations that would benefit Trump politically. Trump didn’t explain his motives, which of course were self-serving. First, he asked Zelenskiy to “find out what happened” with Ukraine’s supposed meddling, alongside Russia, in the 2016 U.S. election. Then there was Trump’s “other thing”: his desire that Ukraine “look into”
