Veteran TV anchor Shepard Smith decried the “intimidation” of journalists Thursday evening

Yeah Shep, how many have been imprisoned? Or threatened in any way?
Press intimidation now means expecting the media to report fairly and accurately something foreign to your class of "journalists".

Freedom of expression, and the press works both ways. The press has been might comfortable being Democrat for a few decades.. Now, when someone or some groups of people call out the "comfort of the Democrats in the press", causing them affliction, that is righteous. Sometimes, free thinking and criticism is an affliction for those on the receiving end. "Man up, Smith." Quit acting like an 8th grade cry baby.

The average reader/watcher WANTS to believe the news. We wouldn't tune in otherwise. However, highly partisan commentators like Shep, who fill most of the "news" slots across journalism today, make it impossible to simply accept them at their word. Front page "news" articles read exactly like opinion pieces on the editorial pages, with almost no distinction between them. Editors and reporters now poorly hide their opinions behind statements from anonymous sources which are written as gospel.....whether already disproved earlier or later.

Latest (known) case in point was the effort run by the Columbia School of Journalism where over 250 media outlets purposely joined together to push climate change and hype Greta Thurnberg's trip to and around the US. This was not a grassroots news item that appeared on the scene. It was a highly orchestrated effort to push an agenda, run across countless front pages and aired for hours at a time on major news broadcasts. Shep, you and your industry did this to yourselves. Don't blame the American people for waking up and realizing that we've been
had for decades.

I read a very insightful discussion the other day about a conversation between the person providing the account to us and its originator (2nd person). The originator of the account was a retired Army gunship pilot who had the actual opportunity to meet the former North Vietnamese Minister of Defense, Vo Nguyen Giap ~2004. Giap, who had been the number 2 man behind Ho Ch Minh at the time, very clearly described that North Vietnamese leadership absolutely knew they had lost the war after Tet, but after watching Walter Cronkite and the American news reports on Tet and its aftermath, they decided to hang on; that it looked like the American media was actually trying to help lose the war. Sure enough, Uncle Walt, The Most Trusted man In News, with the help of friends across the media of the day, appeared to purposely lead the US's downfall of the Vietnam war. And they (Walt and friends) won. Thanks to oh-so-trusted Uncle Walter, the war dragged on for four more years with several thousand more military deaths and thousands of maimed military service members because the North Vietnamese simply hung on.

So Shep, tell us just how long the viewers have been incorrectly calling out fake news, because with a little effort nonpartisan viewers can lay out scenario after scenario of legitimate fake news in response.

Now I have to wipe up the coffee I just spit over my kitchen table. This deviant is delusional. If there is an ounce of legitimacy to his assertion it would be the MSM's aversion to truth and facts that would invite any "intimidation." These people lie through their teeth day in and day out then when challenged turn into the snowflakes they are. Sheppy here is showing that he's still an "opinion guy," just as he's always been and not a journalist as he pretends to be.

Yeah, it just can't be the media's own behavior and daily incitement to violence against Trump and the voters of the nation for not electing Hillary. What we are seeing is decades of indoctrination by the 60's commie hippies who preached that nobody is responsible for their own behavior, society is. Their daily lies and refusal to accept the will of the voters is beyond tiresome. That is what they are not liking, the challenge we have placed before them.
They all want that golden free pass from any kind of responsibility for their own words and actions. They aren't victims. They are a group who has lied to the nation since the time of Walter Cronkite costing us the victory in Vietnam because of his lies. Their power is threatened, and they forget that speech is a two way street. There is always a response. Always. And boy will they be shocked when they find out what God's response to their brazen corruption is. It is not going to be pretty.

One guy with a Twitter account against daytime Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, WaPo, NYTs, WSJ, NPR, the Democrat Party machinery, the bureaucracy. And their feelings are hurt. Trump is winning, by himself, one man alone, against them all. Trump undoubtedly is Superman.

What does he mean? Intimidation to force them to be truthful? When Trump says they are fake news, it wouldn't matter if they were not. Trump's attacks work because the media IS fake news and proves it every day. It IS probably a bit painful to be accurately labeled when you are a liar. It is especially bad when your supposed raison d'être is to be a source of truth.
