(CNN)The Department of Justice Inspector General's report on the start of FBI's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election will say the probe was properly launched but lower-level employees made a series of mistakes.
The investigation on the effort to obtain warrants under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act on Carter Page, a former foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign, is expected to conclude that the FBI's Crossfire Hurricane investigation was properly predicated,

Keep in mind this is from CNN so it is short on facts, long on suppositions. It is setting the narrative that fake news will be pushing until the actual report is released. Take a breath before panic sets in.

Don't think there is enough white wash to cover this up.

Indictments of low level officials are a good place to start. Then turn them.

Let's just ask who's leaking this drivel. We all know it wasn't launched properly. But then we all know there was no quid pro quo, but CNN and other "news" outlets still won't admit it.
If Horowitz is allowing the leakage, then he stinks as much as the people behind this.

Sorry. If this thing turns into all the little guys get a note in their "files" it will be time to drain the swamp by any means possible. Re-elect our president on the understanding that he will
FIRE the upper 3 levels of every department in HIS administration.
Move every Department that does not need to be in DC OUT of DC.
Spend the next 3 years finding somebody who is capable of it to succeed him.

The initial predicate was okay, but the actual implementation was bad then?
This person had to alter a document and back-date an e-mail to make the dots connect "properly".
So, they're saying there wasn't any deadline that needed to be met to meet the processing of the form? If so, why back-date the e-mail? Why alter documents?
Does that mean you can have your tax preparer complete your forms, then you pay a few days late, but back-date the check to satisfy the deadline, will that be okay now?
(not that I ever would try such a thing)

Really? It is the job of the lower level people to do the best they can, then the higher officials check the work, and sign off on it. Don't start giving me this spittle!

Here is one time I may believe CNN. DC protects its own. Find a low level fall guy and everybody else walks away.

I hate this PC use of "mistake" to mean "crime". Yes, given that they got caught, it was certainly a mistake from their viewpoint to start an attempted coup, because they may end up in jail. But the acts themselves were not mistakes, they were crimes. When you break the law multiple times on purpose, it isn't a "series of mistakes", it's a crime spree.

Rush called this one earlier today when he stated that Horowitz is cut from the same cloth as the clown witnesses appearing before Congress all week. Nothing of any substance to be expected from a report that's been delayed for 6 months in the release cycle.

No way were these "mistakes." They were setting this up a long time BEFORE the election. Comey, Brennan and Clapper set the whole thing up. It was a very intricate plan to set up guys like Page and Papadopolous the Australian, the Honeypot, cash payments as phony "red flags" to justify the need for the FISA warrants. Altering the documents would have had to come after the initial plan had gotten underway.
Obama would have had to know about the warrants. If this was on the up and up why didn't he warn the Trump campaign about these "bad guys"? He would know that you aren't supposed to use the Justice Department to spy on an opponents campaign. Why all of the "unmasking" of American citizens? Why was Samantha Power so involved in all of this, Susan Rice?
Why did Comey LIE to the court and tell him that the "dossier" was verified when he knew it wasn't?? Why was Brennan waiting to hear from Comey that Trump had been told about it? Why did he run to CNN?
They all were sure that Hillary (who PAID for the whole thing) would win and no one would ever know about this.

Yep. Just a bunch of low level employees making innocent mistakes that allowed the Democat's domestic spy agency (CIA) and the Democrats' domestic police force (FBI) to spy on a poltical opponent. See, just a big opps here and man its toobad that millions of dollars were wasted on witch hunts to take ddown a president over a few innocent mistakes. At lest that is what CDNC wans us to believe.

#6 I would think that low level agents would be part of the 99 percent "honest" heroes that make up the "rank and file" that Hannity refers to. Personally, I think the deep state is deeper than we think. In every agency. Fire the entire mass and start over. Never happen but it's nice to think about it. Any lawyer who does business in DC is part of the swamp.

IDK what the report says, but I'm sorry I'm not buying CNNs anonymous leaked characterization.
Sara Carter already told us there were indictments including Comey.
We already know there were criminal referrals.

This is CNN so tell us how does the IG need 500 pages to tell us that there really is no problem? You cannot believe a word from CNN or the NYT or the WAPO these days they are all trying to downplay this report. If it was the big nothingburger then there would be no reason for Durham's presence and his Grand Juries and indictments. Sorry I don't believe a word from the Lemon gang.

Such a Report, apparently giving passes from serious wrongdoing to Obama controlled “Deep State” actor’s will not be good for the country, as half the country will never believe it.

You've got to take CNN's reporting for what they are - arse wipes still protecting all the main honchos. What about Orr continuing to deal with Steele?
I told you. If what CNN says is actually true, then the IG report is nothing more than a cover-up.

There you have it, the narrative is set. Do not expect much from the IG Report and the Durham Report may come too late. Wouldn’t that be a shame? The good guys had better get their rears in gear. No pressure, but the future of the Republic is all on the line. A prefect process meanings nothing if it’s too late.
