(CNN)The Department of Justice Inspector General's report on the start of FBI's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election will say the probe was properly launched but lower-level employees made a series of mistakes. The investigation on the effort to obtain warrants under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act on Carter Page, a former foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign, is expected to conclude that the FBI's Crossfire Hurricane investigation was properly predicated,

I hope not but it's what many expected.

Keep in mind this is from CNN so it is short on facts, long on suppositions. It is setting the narrative that fake news will be pushing until the actual report is released. Take a breath before panic sets in.

Let's just ask who's leaking this drivel. We all know it wasn't launched properly. But then we all know there was no quid pro quo, but CNN and other "news" outlets still won't admit it. If Horowitz is allowing the leakage, then he stinks as much as the people behind this.

Sorry. If this thing turns into all the little guys get a note in their "files" it will be time to drain the swamp by any means possible. Re-elect our president on the understanding that he will FIRE the upper 3 levels of every department in HIS administration. Move every Department that does not need to be in DC OUT of DC. Spend the next 3 years finding somebody who is capable of it to succeed him.

The initial predicate was okay, but the actual implementation was bad then? This person had to alter a document and back-date an e-mail to make the dots connect "properly". So, they're saying there wasn't any deadline that needed to be met to meet the processing of the form? If so, why back-date the e-mail? Why alter documents? Does that mean you can have your tax preparer complete your forms, then you pay a few days late, but back-date the check to satisfy the deadline, will that be okay now? (not that I ever would try such a thing)

I hate this PC use of "mistake" to mean "crime". Yes, given that they got caught, it was certainly a mistake from their viewpoint to start an attempted coup, because they may end up in jail. But the acts themselves were not mistakes, they were crimes. When you break the law multiple times on purpose, it isn't a "series of mistakes", it's a crime spree.

Rush called this one earlier today when he stated that Horowitz is cut from the same cloth as the clown witnesses appearing before Congress all week. Nothing of any substance to be expected from a report that's been delayed for 6 months in the release cycle.

No way were these "mistakes." They were setting this up a long time BEFORE the election. Comey, Brennan and Clapper set the whole thing up. It was a very intricate plan to set up guys like Page and Papadopolous the Australian, the Honeypot, cash payments as phony "red flags" to justify the need for the FISA warrants. Altering the documents would have had to come after the initial plan had gotten underway. Obama would have had to know about the warrants. If this was on the up and up why didn't he warn the Trump campaign about these "bad guys"? He would know that you aren't supposed to use the Justice Department to spy on an opponents campaign. Why all of the "unmasking" of American citizens? Why was Samantha Power so involved in all of this, Susan Rice? Why did Comey LIE to the court and tell him that the "dossier" was verified when he knew it wasn't?? Why was Brennan waiting to hear from Comey that Trump had been told about it? Why did he run to CNN? They all were sure that Hillary (who PAID for the whole thing) would win and no one would ever know about this.

See, just a big opps here and man its toobad that millions of dollars were wasted on witch hunts to take ddown a president over a few innocent mistakes. At lest that is what CDNC wans us to believe.

#6 I would think that low level agents would be part of the 99 percent "honest" heroes that make up the "rank and file" that Hannity refers to. Personally, I think the deep state is deeper than we think. In every agency. Fire the entire mass and start over. Never happen but it's nice to think about it. Any lawyer who does business in DC is part of the swamp.

There you have it, the narrative is set. Do not expect much from the IG Report and the Durham Report may come too late. Wouldn’t that be a shame? The good guys had better get their rears in gear. Top officials in the US Navy threatened to resign or be fired should President Trump follow through with an order to keep disgraced Navy SEAL Edward Gallagher in the service, The New York Times reported. The threats from Navy Secretary Richard Spencer and Rear Adm. Collin Green, who leads the SEALs, left the Department of Defense scrambling for a compromise, the paper reported. Spencer says Gallagher should be judged by his peers. (Snip) Gallagher was convicted in July of illegally posing with the dead body of an ISIS fighter. The decision resulted in a rank and pay-grade demotion — and potentially the loss of his Navy SEALs Trident Pin.

The Democratic establishment despises the insurgent candidacy of Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii. From her decision to buck party orthodoxy and endorse Sen. Bernie Sanders in 2016 over Democratic National Committee favorite Hillary Clinton, to her constant criticisms of Democratic foreign policy mistakes, Gabbard has made herself no friends with the party elite. She's perfectly fine with that if it's required to put the people first. Still, this means establishment Democrats and their allies regularly smear and attack the Democratic congresswoman. But, as if we need more proof of how deranged the establishment’s hatred for Gabbard has become, the New York Times style section is now criticizing her… wardrobe?

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) said lunch with President Trump was “delightful” despite a history of clashing with the president that stretches back to the 2016 presidential primary. In an interview with Reason’s Nick Gillespie on Friday, Fox News analyst Andrew Napolitano said there was “overwhelming” evidence of impeachable actions by President Donald Trump. Napolitano said, “The Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee have unearthed enough evidence, in my opinion, to justify about three or four articles of impeachment against the president. We have to start this conversation by underscoring the fact that impeachment is not legal, it is political. Its only Constitutional base is treason, bribery, or other hard crimes and misdemeanors.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden threatened Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) for launching an investigation into his activities with Ukraine while in the Obama White House, stating the Republican will “regret” the move his “whole life.” On Thursday, Graham sent a letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo requesting documents to aid in determining whether Biden pushed for the firing of Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin to squash a sweeping probe into Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian energy giant where his son, Hunter Biden, served as a board member. The younger Biden was compensated generously, making up to $83,000 a month for several years while on the Burisma’s board.

Three years after outsider Donald Trump blew up the political world with his implausible victory over the consummate insider, Hillary Clinton, many establishment Republicans still don’t get it. From their elite cocoon, they continue to indulge the hauteur that put off ordinary voters who had grown tired of a fossilized political class that serially ignored their interests, and seemed more concerned with their own insider perks and privilege, rather than in repairing the damage that decades of bipartisan progressive technocracy had inflicted on the Constitutional order. On Tuesday, November 19th, CNN anchor Don Lemon made a mind-boggling statement. He said, of the ongoing impeachment hearings, “I think on this one, the Republicans are on the wrong side of history, and they are the most hypocritical. I’m not a partisan. I know people think that I’m some liberal Democrat. I’m not.” He went on to say, “I don’t think the Republicans are serving themselves well.” Talk about hypocrisy! If Lemon isn’t “partisan,” neither were Hitler or Stalin. Lemon is to hypocrisy as Macy’s is to Thanksgiving Day parades. And it is the Democrats who are demonstrably damaging themselves with this carefully—if bizarrely-- orchestrated farce.
