As Israel faces repeated rocket fire from Islamic jihadists, the EU engages in its own battle to delegitimize the Jewish state in its latest ruling condoning discriminatory labeling practices for Jewish goods produced in contested areas of Israel.
Yesterday, the EU’s Court of Justice (ECJ), the highest court in the EU, ruled that Jewish products made in contested areas of Israel must bear consumer warning labels. Prior to the ruling, U.S. lawmakers in Congress fired warning shots, cautioning the EU that such a move would prompt the enforcement of American anti-boycott laws, thus endangering the EU’s trade with the United States.

Certainly. But there are any number of ways to make the EU wish it had never started up. For instance, we can give them a label--but we Iraelis control the design. Suggest that if the prodcts were labeled with a yellow start with "Jood:" on it the results could be very entertaining. So would pushing for them to have to label prodcts from every other country that fits to also have to label their products. And to push the llocal lnatic fringe to insist on labeling for every one of their concerns-politicla, environmental, and so on and sit back and watch the show. Or, we could require our own labels so that our citizens could also "make infomed decisions" about whose products not to buy and watch the EU kick and scream. Nice of the US president to want to help but we iSRAELIS are an extremely creative nation and I fuly expect mulitple ways to make the EU deeply regret their attempt at hypocritical politically (in) correct virtue signalling.

If the USA ignores the EU's anti-Semitism and does business as usual, we Americans are all complicit. It's time to take a stand against bigotry.
PS. Don't hold your breath waiting for the holier-than-thou Social Justice Warriors on the Left to act against this bigotry.

Maybe the EU can pull those fabric stars out of storage in Germany for the logo for their "Jewish Products." I'm sure there are folks ... like Siemens, who made the ovens for the gas chambers, that can find something in the archives.

If I ever come across a product that's labeled as being made by Israel, I'll thank the idiot who insisted it be labeled as such, and then promptly snatch it up. Israeli's make some of the best products. Case in point: Our greenhouse, which has withstood 80+ mph winds, was . . . you guessed it . . . designed and made in Israel.
But on a more sinister note, how the world treats Jews is how they will also treat Christians, and we're on another downward spiral as far as THAT goes. This time, though, I think the world is soon to meet the one-and-only Satan-possessed anti-Christ.

I never thought of it before, but from now on I'll start looking for products made exclusively in Israel.

The EU should just be honest & demand a yellow star be stamped on the products.

While I was working for a EU based company traveling there a bit and working with Brits, Germans, Fins on a daily basis, I was struck by the astounding similarity to current events in the states. The communists have taken over our democrat party and they have been able to penetrate Europe facilitated by the formation of the EU.

I buy Sabra hummus because it was originally an Israeli company and has been bought by a US company which is very supportive of the Israeli military and IDF. Also, another reason to purchase it is that the snowflake SJWs are boycotting it.

When will they make European Jews wear yellow stars?
Europe is heading back to the bad old days of Nazi Germany, it would seem.

I agree with posters who have highlighted the excellence of Israeli made products. Foodstuffs, toolboxes and firearms related products that I have purchased are outstanding. The hypocrites in the EU can take a flying leap. Antisemitism in Europe isn't new. It has been carefully nurtured by weaklings looking for someone else to blame and spread from one loser generation to another. Europeans in general are pathetic.

Good for President Trump, but unfortunately 75% of the US Jewish vote will still go to whoever the Democrats nominate. That's just the way it is.

Most people don't know the symbol CE means made in the EU. I talked someone out of a purchase today. Now that the holidays are upon us, be sure your lights have the UL label on them. Do not buy their junk.
One store's name indicates they sell products from around the world. Several years ago, I contacted them and asked why they didn't have products from Israel. They do now. Food products will have several symbols for Kosher, do not confuse them for Halal, which I refuse to purchase.
This could be another Chick fil A moment.

IMI ammo is good, and I have an ex-Israeli police Browning HiPower pistol. I have wondered if it has seen action. Probably has, shows a lot of use, but functions perfectly.

So are they going to require that Israeli made goods have a Yellow Star on the package?

Didn’t someone already try this with the Jooooos? What is wrong with people who persecute people who live on land given to them by God personally thousands of years ago! The world is spiraling out of control and this time we have soy boys to draft and send over to assist! I suspect Israel has defensive capabilities on par with any other nation in the world, to which aI say good! My Master, Jesus Christ was a Jew and that makes me angry when places like the satanic EU mess with them! Salvation came from the lineage of the Jews to the Gentiles...of which I am one! I firmly hold on to the truth that Jesus died to provide a way for my sins to be forgiven! And I can do nothing to add to that forgiveness except believe it to be true! What a wonderment!
