The cell phone brand T-Mobile is implementing workplace policies that force its employees, as well as customers, to use language addressing so-called “transgender” individuals, according to Breitbart.
In a press statement issued on November 6th, the company declared that it would be “launching new optional name badges for all retail employees that can include employees’ personal pronouns.” The statement also said that “employees are encouraged to add pronouns to email addresses and kick off meetings by sharing pronouns.”
The rise of workplace-based use of transgender language has led to widespread criticism for mainstreaming a mental illness that affects a small percentage of the population

I am truly sorry that I am not a t-Mobile customer. It denies me the pleasure of telling that P C obsessed bunch goodbye.

If they're a public company, short their stock.

I’ve only been an editor since the eighties, but it seems to me the only way one addresses retail help is by name or in the second person. There is one pronoun for that—"you."

I read that the company is changing its name to LGBT-MOBILE. 😂

I’m going to look for another service company as I’m on T-Mobile right now. Any recommendations? I’m standing by.

If I were their employees I'd stage a massive company wide strike accompanied by a lawsuit for infringing on Constitutionally guaranteed Freedom of Speech.

#6, I’ve had Verizon for at least 20 years. Never had a problem with them.

I thought we lived in a "democracy," but we seemed to be ruled by the tyranny of the minority these days. People who should be declared insane for not knowing their sex get to change what has been true since man's creation for all of us? Get that outta here! Resist we much!

Yeah, I'd recommend Verizon, too. They have kept themselves out of this tranny stuff. Verizon also making head way on providing customers with spam blocking features.

I have T Mobile, have since the mid 2000s. Unfortunately I've been very happy with them, and their senior magenta plan only costs me $70 per month for 2 lines, unlimited everything. But, if I call them and they ask me what pronoun I prefer I will come unglued. This is very unfortunate, but, in today's world unavoidable for most purposes. Just as long as it doesn't impact me in any way I guess I'll just put up with it.

I got rid of T Mobile several years ago, and am happier about that decision even more today. T-Mobile's priorities are obviously still misguided.

If I were a T-Mobile customer, and they asked me what pronouns I wanted to use, I would just grab a couple of letters out of the alphabet and use them. When they ask what they meant, I would say, I don't know, I just made them up! If they can make stuff up, so can I! It would make me laugh every time I got mail from them with my made up pronouns!

Didn't they used to have a very pretty girl in a pink dress as their spokesman? I haven't noticed a commercial from them since then.

13 mentions the company's "magenta plan". They seem to be shifting to a compulsory lavender plan, instead.

How about 'thee' and 'thou.' Like the vast majority, I don't know or interact with any transgender people. Gender dysphoria is what it is. The head of the Johns Hopkins psychiatry department years ago stopped advocating for medical procedures for transgenders because the outcomes were mostly bad... suicide or a desire to return to their actual gender.

There is a moral and legal conundrum here. First, does an employee of conscience continue to take salary from an employer that forces compliance with outrageous policies that shock the conscience? Second, legally, since all of these telecom companies have contracts with the United States government, can they compel employees to do this, or do they have Constitutionally protected rights extended to them? These are the same rights that are guaranteed to anyone who has contractual business with the federal government in the public sector (local schools, universities, governments, etc.). Would a legal Ldotter scholar care to weigh in on this?

"Kicking off meetings by sharing pronouns"......
OK, if I worked there I would be looking for a job in a sane company. And if I had a T-mobile phone, I'd get a new carrier.

Are transgendered people 20% of the population now? One would think there are more transgendered people than normally gendered (I refuse to use that stupid word "cis-...") people now.
