Steve Schmidt: ‘Overwhelming Chance’ Trump
Will ‘Dump Pence’ in 2020, Replace Him with
Nikki Haley

Steve Schmidt, John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign manager, during Tuesday’s “Morning Joe” on MSNBC predicted former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley could be on President Donald Trump’s ticket for reelection in 2020. Schmidt said Haley is “clearly angling for the job” with her new book “With All Due Respect,” adding Trump “has an enormous problem with women” that would be solved by the former South Carolina governor being his running mate. “It’s about currying favor. She wants to be vice president. She wants to be vice president on the Republican ticket in 2020,” Schmidt stated.

FTA: Schmidt said Haley is “clearly angling for the job” with her new book “With All Due Respect,” adding Trump “has an enormous problem with women” that would be solved by the former South Carolina governor being his running mate. As I recall, Sarah Palin did not solve John McCain's problem with women. A lot of them despised her. Another conservative woman would most likely have the same fate.

Not likely. For one Pence is just fine as VP. Also, if Halley has higher ambitions being VP would tie her down with day-to-day Washington DC pettiness.

Hope not. Pence seems to be ok as VP. Nikki does have beautiful hair, but I cant forget she buckled to pressure over the flag thing a while back. Trump doesn't like people who buckle to pressure.

However #2, Palin was destroyed by a RINO-led GOP not just the conservative-despising media. Haley is not a conservative as SC voters found out and she has no chance of major support from Trump conservatives. Its Trump’s party now. I wouldn’t vote for Nikki as dog catcher.

Really doubt this. Doubt how replacing Pence with Haley would help Trump at the voting booth at all. Really doubt Haley is looking to be VP in 2020. Its already taken. Most likely this is Schmidt looking for publicity.

I wasn't very excited about candidate Trump when he first got in the race( didn't think he was serious, as he had toyed with it in prior years). When he did and he chose Mike Pence , I was very happy and have been ever since. Mike Pence is about as presidential as a person can be. Business man, talk-show host- US Congress -Vice President. It really peeves me that most people in politics or the media act like our vice president is just a chair warmer until President Trump steps down. It is my sincere hope that he, too, gets to serve eight years leading this great country.

The New York Post released its Wednesday cover late on Tuesday night mocking Democratic House leaders ahead of their public impeachment hearings of President Donald Trump over his July 25 phone call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky. The cover shows House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff dressed as clowns and features the headline: “GUILTY! Donald Trump’s presidency and the 2020 election likely hang on whether Schiff’s sleight of hand can survive the bright lights

In the last century, scores of millions of defenseless civilians were slaughtered by totalitarian regimes that first disarmed them. Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, Communist China, the Ottoman Turks, and several dozen other despotic regimes committed mass murder of millions upon millions. Historically, genocide follows confiscation of arms as surely as day follows night. In order to foster the deterrence of tyranny in American government, the Founders ratified the Second Amendment, acknowledging the unalienable right of the people to bear arms. After first setting the House rules to allow himself alone to say which witnesses can appear before his committee hearings, now going public, he's now vetoing one by one pretty much every witness being called by the GOP to present some kind of defense of President Trump. Here's his list of eight who are being blocked by Schiff, via CNN's report on Mark Levin: In a letter to Schiff earlier Saturday, Republicans had listed the anonymous whistleblower, Hunter Biden, former US special envoy for Ukraine Kurt Volker, high-ranking State Department official David Hale and Tim Morrison,

The 2020 Democrat presidential field is about to get locked by filing deadlines and that is making a lot of Democrats nervous. If you want to run for president, it is a 50 state process that requires filing papers and whatever else is required to get on the ballot. Alabama’s filing deadline passed last week. New Hampshire and Arkansas expire this week. The heavy hitters of Illinois, California, and Texas are just weeks away. Ohio and North Carolina arrive before Christmas. In other words, unless someone gets off the pot, the current 2020 crop of tired, old extremists is locked in forever. Which means one of them will face Trump in 2020,

Morrison’s testimony is considered the most favorable to President Donald Trump, after he reportedly told the committee in late October: “I was not concerned that anything illegal was discussed.” Morrison also reportedly said that Ukraine was not aware of any hold on U.S. aid until Politico reported it on August 28, 2019. Though Republicans also say many other statements by witnesses have been exculpatory, they have said Morrison’s was particularly so.

It puts the former New York mayor in sixth place, just behind Sen. Kamala Harris and Mayor Pete Buttigieg and clearly trailing Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Sen.
