YouTube and Facebook are erasing
content with whistleblower’s name

The day has finally arrived when our online media monopolies are blatantly censoring the news that Americans can see. Chrissy Clark writes at The Federalist: Facebook and YouTube are removing all content from their platforms that mentions the anti-Trump whistleblower’s name, whom news outlets including RealClearInvestigations have publicly identified as CIA analyst Eric Ciaramella. (snip) History has seen similar efforts to pretend in the media that persons inconvenient to the powerful don’t exist. When Stalin purged people he feared might become rivals, he had them airbrushed out of photos standing next to him.

He isn't a "whistleblower". They are just calling him that, because it sounds better than "CIA Operative".

That's okay. I am sure MANY people made screen shots of his content. The social media publishers are working on a way to disable making screen shots as we speak.

Transgenderism and the Olympics 5 replies

Next year’s Tokyo Summer Olympics may spell the swift death of the transgender movement as a dominant politically-correct touchstone. Biological men, self-identifying as women, are poised to make a clean sweep of the Women’s Olympics, triggering a very public debate on this third-rail subject. That firestorm, pitting pro-women feminists against extreme pro-transgender progressives, will begin July 24th, just as the Presidential sweepstakes moves into its sprint to the finish line. The International Olympic Committee -- the IOC -- recently admitted they couldn’t come up with fair guidelines governing how and when transgender women can compete as women

Last night's Democratic presidential debate featured a slew of predictable boilerplate from the candidates advocating for abortion. First, Sen. Amy Klobuchar got asked about it, and she stated the usual stuff, and then Sen. Elizabeth Warren got asked a slightly different question by MSNBC host Rachel Maddow about whether there was any room left in the Democratic party for a pro-life Democrat, such as Louisiana's governor John Bel Edwards. Warren was evasive, failing to answer the question directly, but she made it pretty clear there was no room. (snip) Bel Edwards belies that because the likely game changer for Bel Edwards is that he was pro-life.

Watching Schiff's trumped up inquiry about nothing but a phone call, the transcript of which has been available to the public for many weeks, is like watching The Caine Mutiny (1954) without the drama. The film is about a naval captain whose first officer relieves him of his command when the man demonstrates obvious signs of mental instability. All that is missing from Schiff's on-air mental collapse are the little steel balls that Humphrey Bogart as Captain Queeg fiddled with while on the stand at the court-martial of the mutineers. Queeg was obsessed with missing strawberries. Schiff's impending mental breakdown is demonstrably more obvious, less subtle than Queeg's.

Until a month or so ago, virtually no one outside of the seven circles of hell that is the State Department had heard of Marie Yovanovitch. Even the intrepid John Solomon had not heard of her until March of this year. He had interviewed Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko who told him that Yovanovitch gave him a "do not prosecute" list the first time he met with her. He was angered by her list which he justifiably saw it as interference in Ukraine's government. He felt she was meddling in their anti-corruption investigations by telling him who should not be investigated.

On Thursday night, the underdog Cleveland Browns met the Pittsburgh Steelers. And the Browns showed up, beating the Steelers 21-7 in a pretty decisive victory. That wouldn’t be big news, normally. But at the end of the game, Browns defensive end Myles Garrett got into an altercation unlike anything I’ve ever seen in my decades of watching football. (snip) Where this became far different and more dangerous than your typical football scuffle is that, during the entanglement, Myles Garrett actually reared back and attempted to windmill-tomahawk slam the helmet he was holding on top of Mason Rudolph’s exposed skull with furious gusto.

As Rep. Adam Schiff’s “sentence first, trial later” show trial of President Donald J. Trump reaches a so-called public hearing phase, we find the weaver of fables dictating what witnesses the GOP will be permitted to call based on a set of three qualifying question they must answer in advance. These questions ask, essentially, if the witnesses believe President Trump is guilty of pressuring Ukraine to dig up dirt on the Bidens in exchange for military aid. The GOP, it seems, will not be allowed to call witnesses who have testimony or evidence to the contrary, that there was no pressure and no quid pro quo.

It’s truly not shocking that a political leader would be a reprobate behind closed doors. From Caligula to the Marquis de Sade to Bill Clinton, the depraved have always been overrepresented among the ruling classes. Gender transition can leave transgender people in a bit of a bind about their sexual desirability. While a transgender female may look, act, and feel masculine and exhibit male tendencies, she is just as female as any other female. If she is interested in either gay men or straight women, she could find herself perpetually attracted to individuals who are not going to be interested in her simply because of her vagina. The same holds true for transgender men who have retained their penises. If they are into lesbian women or straight men, those two demographics will most likely be turned off by their body parts.

That’s based on the simple reality that failing to do so at this point would cost Democrats more politically than proceeding with impeachment would. Voters who hate Trump would be furious and voters who like Trump wouldn’t give Pelosi and Schiff an ounce of credit for standing down in the end. The president would gloat about it every day unto eternity. Pelosi, long respected by both sides for her ability to whip votes, would be humiliated utterly.
