Schiff: We Don’t Need
No Stinking Whistleblower

When House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that the Democrats would launch an “official impeachment inquiry,” she said this action had been made necessary by a whistleblower complaint concerning a phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Madam Speaker used the term “whistleblower” no fewer than eight times in her five-minute statement. Saturday, however, we learned that the anonymous individual whose complaint loomed so large in the speaker’s decision to launch the investigation will not be permitted to testify before Congress. House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), whom Pelosi assigned to lead the inquiry, announced that the whistleblower’s testimony would be “redundant.” Chairman Schiff’s relegation of the whistleblower

The only thing the democrats did was change the name of this circus from an Impeachment Hearing to an Impeachment Inquiry. They did this to avoid a vote by the House. With or without a vote this spectacle has been birthed for one reason and that is to bloody up the President as he goes into the 2020 election cycle. They must create an aura of impeachment to attach to his name. What baffles me is that we are being subjected to this unprecedented farce without much pushback from Republicans. The President is being railroaded by a known liar, Trump hater, and a man who will do or say anything if he thinks it will do damage to the President. He’s making up the rules as he goes along which the Republicans should be screaming is unfair. This is going to be nothing but an opportunity to put the President on trial in front of the American people without counsel present and any normal due process to which we are all entitled, even a President. The outright injustice of this exercise should offend any reasonable person. Schiff is making a mockery of justice, fairness and basic decency. My prayers is that God will protect this President as only He can and make this whole affair that is meant for evil result in good for the President. While it is evident that there is a serious corruption within out government, I pray that it will be exposed by this inquiry and the American people will see that there has been a cabal whose sole purpose has been to remove Donald J. Trump from office 19 minutes after he took the oath of office. Schiff has more than done his part in this seditious plot. He and his fellow travelers need to be exposed and punished for what they have done to the country and this President. Pray for the country and the President today. Democrats are determined to destroy both.

Senator Graham is mostly all hat and no cattle - only reliable about half the time even on a good day. I wouldn’t bet the ranch on much of anything that comes out of his pie hole.

'Climate emergency' declaration takes

There was something goofy about the petition signed by 11,258 “world scientists” from 153 countries declaring a “climate emergency.” One “scientist” was named “Mouse, Micky” from the “Micky Mouse Institute for the Blind, Nambia.” Another was Albus Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts. And then there was “Araminta Aardvark” from the fictional University of Neasden. Among the “Alliance of World Scientists” members who were apparently real people, many identified themselves as teachers, students, administrators, statisticians, economists, technicians, therapists, doctors, psychologists — not climate scientists. As it turns out, however, being recognized as a “world scientist” may be easier than you think.

The brutal killing of three American women and six children a week ago in Mexico sparked outrage on both sides of the border. Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has promised justice, and already set up a special task force to find the attackers. President Donald J. Trump, meanwhile, has suggested American troops be sent in to combat the rising tide of violence. Rhetoric aside, some important facts remain in doubt, with social media and tabloids generating increasingly bizarre conspiracy theories. The day after the killing, the New York Post, for instance, reported that members of the victims’ community may have been recruited

Earlier today, a lawyer representing Tulsi Gabbard wrote to Hillary Clinton accusing her of defaming Gabbard by calling her a Russian asset and demanding a retraction: A letter from the Gabbard campaign’s legal counsel insisted that Gabbard is not a Russian asset, and that Clinton knew the statement was untrue when she said it. It is almost impossible for a public official like Tulsi Gabbard to win a defamation case under existing law, but Clinton’s claim was so ridiculous that Tulsi might have a shot. The letter is part of Gabbard’s continuing pushback after Clinton appeared on the podcast Campaign HQ

House Democrats conducted their impeachment interviews in secret, but Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman still emerged as star of the show. Appearing at his Oct. 29 deposition in full dress uniform, the decorated Army officer, now a White House National Security Council Ukraine expert, was the first witness who had actually listened to the phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that is at the heart of the Democratic impeachment campaign. Even though lawmakers were forbidden to discuss his testimony in public, Vindman's leaked opening statement that "I did not think it was proper [for Trump] to demand that a foreign government investigate

In a recent poll by YouGov and the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, 70 percent of millennial Americans (23 to 38 years old) are likely to vote socialist, and 36 percent have a favorable view of communism. In a 2018 YouGov poll, millennials are almost four times as likely as those Americans older than 54 to say they are not proud to be an American and almost three times as likely to disagree with the statement that “America is the greatest country in the world.” These generational differences are stark and disturbing for the future of America. They are not surprising, however, given that our education system emphasizes

After weeks of conducting hearings in private, the House impeachment inquiry is going public this week. But if the Democrats stage-managing this affair have their way, there will be one element of their presidential-misconduct allegations that won’t be part of the show: Hunter Biden. Democrats believe that the vice-presidential son’s Ukraine shenanigans are irrelevant to impeachment. They want the hearings to be entirely focused on their accusation that President Trump threatened to withhold American military aid to force Kiev to investigate a political rival. They say that questions about what Hunter did or didn’t do, and what his father knew and when he knew it, are just a conspiracy theory

White House acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney’s last-minute effort to join a lawsuit that could determine whether senior administration officials testify in the impeachment inquiry was an unwelcome surprise to former top national security aides, highlighting internal divisions among President Trump’s advisers in the face of the probe. Former national security adviser John Bolton’s advisers and allies were taken aback to learn late Friday that Mulvaney had gone to court seeking to join a separation-of-powers lawsuit filed against Trump and the House leadership, according to people familiar with their views, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the ongoing inquiry.

Last Wednesday, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), chaired by Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff, published the unredacted name of a man alleged to be the so-called whistleblower who helped launch impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump. During HPSCI testimony, William Taylor, the charge d’affairs of the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, was asked by a staff lawyer on the committee whether the name Eric Ciaramella was familiar to him. “Does a person by the name of Eric Ciaramella ring a bell for you?” asked Steve Castor, a committee staff counsel asked Taylor during a deposition on October 22.

Federal prosecutors have accused a Virginia doctor of performing surgeries on women -- such as hysterectomies and removing their fallopian tubes without their consent according to court documents. Javaid Perwaiz, 69, faces several charges related to insurance fraud as a result of an investigation that began in September 2018 after the FBI received a tip from a hospital employee who suspected he was "performing unnecessary surgeries on unsuspecting patients," according to the criminal complaint, filed Friday in the Eastern District of Virginia. The unidentified patients would advise hospital staff that they were there for their "annual clean outs" and were not aware of the procedures they were undergoing, the affidavit states.

“It’s not an impeachment resolution,” said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. Pelosi had just announced the House would, in fact, hold a vote to formalize the impeachment probe and establish parameters for the investigation late last month. The House speaker had argued for weeks such a step wasn’t necessary. Congressional Republicans and members of the administration countered that the White House shouldn’t cooperate because the House never codified the inquiry. “They would much rather discuss process,” House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., when asked about the GOP demand for a vote. “They can’t defend the president’s conduct.”

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- No. 2 LSU ended an eight-game losing streak to its SEC West rival with a stunning 46-41 victory over No. 3 Alabama under the lights at Bryant-Denny Stadium. For the first time since 2011, the Tigers have beaten the Crimson Tide, and it was a game that felt entirely different than the one these teams played the last time LSU beat Alabama, 9-6. The win not only got the proverbial Alabama monkey off LSU's back, but it put the Tigers firmly in the driver's seat in the SEC West. It likely cements Joe Burrow in front of the Heisman Trophy race as well.

That’s the choice for people in 13 cities and one county in California that have enacted new zoning codes encouraging or requiring all-electric new construction. The codes, most of them passed since June, are meant to keep builders from running natural gas lines to new homes and apartments, with an eye toward creating fewer legacy gas hookups as the nation shifts to carbon-neutral energy sources. For proponents, it's a change that must be made to fight climate change. For natural gas companies, it's a threat to their

When asked about her future in politics, Clinton said, “I feel a sense of responsibility partly because you know my name was on the ballot, I got more votes, but ended up losing to the current incumbent in the White House who I think is really undermining our democracy in very fundamental ways. And I want to retire him.” When asked if she is absolutely ruling out a 2020 run, Clinton said, “I, as I say never, never, never say never.

Horowitz’s investigation on the bureau’s probe into the now debunked theory that Trump colluded with Russia in the 2016 presidential election will more than likely result in the declassification of documents — requested by senior Republican lawmakers for more than several years. These are the same documents President Trump turned over to Attorney General William Barr in May,
