Like a lot of wronged women, Monica Lewinsky now is reassessing her “affair” with Bill Clinton through the lens of the MeToo movement. It was “an abuse of power … 100 percent,” she said Saturday night in a speech in Australia. The former White House intern, who was just 22 when the president seduced her, said she had “clung so steadfastly to this notion that [it] was a real, consensual relationship, [but] as we started to have public conversations that were different about consent, as we started to recognize abuse of power in different ways, these structures started to crumble around powerful men who have been able

Clinton seduced Monica? Yeah, after she went around snapping her thong at him! I will give the horn dog a pass in this one case. It was HER that did the seducing, although it didn't take much to do that. Some say that she was just a young, star-struck girl, but at 22 she knew what she was doing.

“Lewinsky is right that some rich and powerful men now are being held accountable for past sexual wrongdoing that once was condoned by everyone in their privileged social stratum.” But Bill Clinton is not one of them. The left is still covering for him.

Monica is still at it - blaming everyone else when she took the first step that started the old horndog's engine. After 20+ years, it is long past time to move on, yet here she is, still yakking endlessly about being a stupid girl besotted with a horny man old enough to be her father.

Libs enabled not only sex abusers. They enabled bad behavior in general. Take the grifting, over-reaching and bad behavior of the 0bamas. Think of the Hollywood types faking their daughters' college-entrance credentials. Think of the disrespect of the police on the streets. Think of the governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general of Virginia remaining in office. Elites think they can do as they please with impunity. The same with feral blacks and illegal aliens. Lawlessness everywhere.

The issue with Lewinsky/Clinton is not whether it was consensual (it obviously was), but his taking advantage of a young woman whose employment was under his control. However, posters are right, Lewinsky should have moved on with her life many years ago.

Monica's carrying on about her trevails with BJ is classic of progressives who blame others for their mistakes and don't want to be held accountable for the bad decisions they make. Indeed, she and BJ got it on consensually. Lucky for BJ she was over the age of 18. Strangely, Lewinsky believes that had social media existed during and after her encounters with BJ, that she would have had the support of the public and would not have been shamed. You can't make this stuff up.

Agree with #6. It was an abuse of power and a Republican CEO would have been hounded from his job if he had an affair with a 22-year-old employee. That said, Monica knew what she was doing. It was certainly easy enough to seduce the old lecher....like dangling a pork chop in front of a hungry wolf.

Monica can’t move on with her life. She has never married and I’d bet that she doesn’t even date anyone because any guy who meets her is only going to be interested in one thing about her. And that’s not the basis of any long term relationship; it’s only about bragging rights for the guy. As in, “I got Lewinskied by Lewinski!”

There’s nothing like seeing #PeteForPresident trending in fourth place nationwide on Twitter to remind you Pete Buttigieg is still very much in this presidential race. In the crowded field of Democratic contenders for the White House in 2020, Buttigieg is near the top, polling behind only Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders. According to RealClearPolitics’ latest aggregate of polls, in the early primary state of Iowa, Buttigieg trails only Warren, holding 17.5 percent support — and for good reason. She’s at it again. Hillary Clinton spoke during an event in London Sunday to promote her book “The Book of Gutsy Women” and she blamed misogyny as the reason for her defeat in the 2016 election. Stop me if you’ve heard it all before. I give her this – it is impressive that Hillary Clinton can still draw a crowd to listen to her complain about losing her shot at the presidency. She’s been on this pity tour since November 2016 and she’s still using the same material. She’s on social media, she’s doing book tours when she (or a ghostwriter)

The Supreme Court on Tuesday is set to take up the Trump administration’s plan to end protections that shield about 660,000 immigrants from deportation, and legal experts say all eyes will be on the likely tie-breaker Chief Justice John Roberts.Created under an Obama-era executive order, DACA gives some undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children the chance to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation and become eligible for a work permit. Legal experts have looked back on Roberts’ June vote that blocked a citizenship question from appearing on the 2020 census.

We’d been married the month before and were working together on the Wall Street Journal’s editorial page in Europe. I looked up from my desk as Amity did something unusual. Trump has been criticizing Chicago leadership since 2016 for allowing the violence to become one of the worst in the world, earning the title in 2015 as America’s mass-shooting capital, and he continued to highlight Chicago’s problems during the conference.
