Gordon Sondland, the ambassador to the EU and a key player in the dispute over what the Trump administration said or didn’t say to Ukraine about military aid, has revised his testimony to the House impeachment probers. He says the revision is the result of having his memory refreshed by the testimony of Bill Taylor, the acting ambassador to Ukraine.

What an idiot. Did he not read and underline his parts in the Deep State Drama? Or maybe this was the surprise twist written into Act III scene 9- "Now I Remember (even though I wasn't there)"

In my mind, when someone revises his previous statement, after a week or so, it tells me someone got to him. Simple as that. He had his memory "refreshed" alright, by someone who probably threatened harm to him or his family! His credibility is shot!

The horse head in his bed may have helped him "refresh" his memory as well.

That simply means that Sondland got kicked in the shin under the table by a Taylor acolyte. Oh yeah, NOW I remember.

Was the EU guy in the room with the President when he talked to the Ukraine? I think not.

Read the transcript. What they claim was in the call, isn't.

Powerline copies a WaPO version of this event then comments on it.
Not on the entire Sondland statement.
In the actual Sondland statement he admitted that, after listening to others HE PRESUMED ..... there was something in the way of a quid pro quo.
Law does not work like that.
Law requires FACTS, not presumptions!
This is a big nothingburger.

If he changes his testimony, he gets to live, no Arkancide.
Definitely a "this for that".

Mirengoff again. Powerline’s token anti-Trumper.
I don’t read him any more, but did he mention that Sondland also admitted getting his information from the New York Times?

Here's a question. Joe Biden publicly bragged that he got the Ukrainian prosecutor fired for investigating his son. THAT sounds like a crime. THAT sounds like real abuse of power. This is not speculation. Biden said it.
So if the President of the US is aware of a likely crime, asks for assistance in investigating it, and threatens to withhold aid if that assistance is not forthcoming as agreed by treaty, WHAT is the matter with that? WHY would running for president make you immune from investigation? They were investigating Trump for fake illegalities before he was elected. They found nothing but the process was allowed to proceed while he was a candidate and into his presidency. NO ONE on the Left saw a problem with that. WHY is it unseemly for the President to request help in an investigation? Why is this conduct Mr Mirengoff says "This is not conduct most Americans (including me) want to see from their president."?
I want that the president "shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed", part of his Constitutional duties. Biden's abuse of power is tied up with Ukraine and Trump as every right to follow it up.There is nothing unseemly about it.

Pencil Neck demanded he pick life with plenty of illegal money or death by suicide with 2 bullets in the back of the head. That's what really happened.
