She could also find a cure for cancer, fly to the moon on gossamer wings, whatever…. This is, of course, Bullen’s promo for his own project, the documentary. He is the one touting her for bigger things, political things….in America.

The British figured out long ago that members of the Royal Family there should not be politicians and is why members of the Royal Family are barred from running for political office in the U.K. Clearly the founding fathers would roll over in their graves if the leftist and liberal Democrats support a member of the British Royal Family running for political office in the USA, and eventually a British Duchess and Prince potentially taking up residence in the White House. Don’t ever think that the Democrats would not take that plunge if they thought it would help them politically.

She's a narcissist of the first order; the only philanthropic cause in which she is interested is herself. She wants to be a celebrity rather than a Royal - it's not possible for her to be both. I would also like to know how her mother (only 18 months after the wedding) is now worth 9 million dollars. I'm guessing Ep's former yacht girl is moving money as part of an exit strategy which is sure to come sooner or later. She's not in the marriage for the long haul just long enough to take Harry to the cleaners. It shouldn't too much longer - she's already blown through a third of the inheritance Diana left him. As far as the Brits are concerned Markle has lost her sparkle. They are hoping that she leaves the Royal Family and their country for good. She is despised.

Outgoing Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin, a Republican, just lost the governor’s house to Democrat Andy Beshear by a slim margin. But President Trump won Kentucky by almost 30 points in 2016. Most reports concluded that Bevin had pursued too conservative a path, even for Kentucky. Many others were quick to tie the election to President Trump, and Trump’s alleged unpopularity among suburban voters, relative to a plain-vanilla establishment Republican.(Snip)Was Bevin problematic because he was too Trumpian? Not at all. Bevin “governed as a classic libertarian chamber of commerce type Republican.” In Enjeti’s words he was a “typical slash and burn corporatist governor in a solidly white working class state.”

Oxford professor Nicola Gardini urges people to read and study Latin. He believes that Latin is the antidote for the modern age, which seems transfixed by the spontaneous, the easy, and the ephemeral. His new book, Long Live Latin: The Pleasures of a Useless Language, argues that Latin combines truth and beauty with the timelessness of art. People should study Latin for all the reasons people should read literature. In his Confessions, St. Augustine (354–430 C.E.) “placed the learning of Latin under God’s purview,” Gardini writes. There is zero respect for any guest with a politically incorrect opinion. They slobbered over Chelsea Clinton as if she were the Queen of England and attacked Donald Trump Jr.
