Adam Schiff Makes Up New Rules for
Impeachment Inquiry; Restricts
Republican Witness Questions

Original Article

House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) issued a set of restrictions on Thursday morning limiting Republicans to calling witnesses that can respond to three questions, all of which reflect Democrats’ views. The questions, detailed in a letter Wednesday from Schiff to ranking member Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) are: 1, Did the President request that a foreign leader and government initiate investigations to benefit the President’s personal political interests in the United States, including an investigation related to the President’s political rival and potential opponent in the 2020 U.S. presidential election? 2. Did the President — directly or through agents — seek to use the power of the Office

Stacking the deck. What I see as consciousness of guilt on the part of Schiff and his cohorts… They are afraid to have an open inquiry...

Any wimpy Congressional Republicans who go would go along with the leftist and liberal Democrats with their impeachment inquisition based political hit job on President Trump have to be morons, will be committing political suicide as far that the vast majority of “Deplorable” Republican voters are concerned, and most likely are assisting the Democrats in electing a Democrat socialist as President in the 2020 election.

Question 1 requires reading the President's mind since his actions to cooperate with Ukraine on 2016 corruption were required by our mutual treaty and any benefit to him was unavoidable. Question 2 was answered NO by Zelevsky Question 3 goes to the separation of powers under the Constitution so it is not a valid question. Done

In his appeal to the chamber after Schiff rejects his witness requests, Nunes should remind the chamber that the next time the GOP has the house with a dem President, they will adopt these same unfair procedures to impeach the democrat president for a simple difference in policy.

All of this posturing by Schiff-ALL OF IT-must be to pre-empt attention from and lay the groundwork to discredit the upcoming IG report and the Durham investigation. If Schiff is acting so irrationally one wonders exacly what will be revealed in the coming weeks. It must be pretty bad for the Democrats-they may have to circle the wagons to protect Obama. One can only hope. And after this, Schiff should never be let near any structure in DC. He is a bagboy for his masters.

Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman admitted he made up elements of President Donald Trump’s call with Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an official summary. Prior to the call, Vindman included a discussion about corruption in the talking points provided to the president but Trump did not use them in the call. The summary Vindman wrote after the call read: President Trump (Snip) expressed his commitment to work together with President-elect Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people to implement reforms that strengthen democracy, increase prosperity, and root out corruption. HPSCI Ranking Member Devin Nunes questioned NSC official Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman about whether he had shared the contents of the phone call between President Trump and Ukraine President Zelensky with anyone outside the White House. In responding Vindman stated “two people”, and then named State Dept George Kent, and a person from the intelligence community. Then things get interesting. Vindman refused to name the intelligence agency because it would likely expose the CIA “whistle-blower”. This non-answer makes Alexander Vindman the source for the CIA “whistleblower” Eric Ciaramella.

Most of us live within what we consider to be a republic.(Snip) what's being revealed in the Impeachment Theater is that there exists a confederation of interests--both within the government as well as outside (but very much connected with) the government--that view America as an empire. These interests are broadly bi-partisan--think: Uniparty, as sundance at CTH famously says. They are also broadly "progressive," even among the non-Dem members. Their focus on Empire is designed to "fundamentally transform" the world in the interests of a global order of their making, just as the progressive project on the domestic front is to transform American society in fundamental ways.
