Is the Flynn case hurtling to a final reckoning? On October 24, former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn’s attorney, Sidney Powell, filed a bombshell brief in which she accused the prosecution, led by Robert Mueller alumnus Brandon Van Grack, of spearheading a politically motivated prosecution characterized by shocking (alleged) misconduct on the part of the investigators and the prosecution team.
(Snip) . Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to the crime of making false statements to the FBI. But we now learn that Flynn’s attorney has produced evidence that Flynn’s statement was actually edited and doctored by a group of FBI officials who were not present during the interview

FTA:
Powell wrote, “Overnight, the most important substantive changes were made to the Flynn 302. Those changes added an unequivocal statement that ‘Flynn stated he did not”—in response to whether Mr. Flynn had asked Kislyak to vote in a certain manner or slow down the UN vote.”
But, the original notes of the interviewing agents showed, “Mr. Flynn was not even sure he had spoken to Russia/Kislyak on the issue.” She points out that additional material was added to the account of Flynn’s statement that did not appear in the notes of the interviewing agents.
It’s simply impossible to understand how an American can be held criminally liable for making a “false statement” when the account of his “lie” was manipulated and doctored without his participation.

If police officers have to wear lapel video cameras, why can't the FBI at least require agents, during interviews, tape record the interviews??

Flynn pled guilty to avoid more financially crippling legal fees. The Government should have to reimburse him for every penny.

I think every FBI agent involved and Obama, Clinton, and others complicit should have to pay retribution out of their paychecks and pension. Then prison.

FTA - "Or is he about to lower the boom on the government for failing to be transparent to the court and Flynn?" Oh pleeeaze. Like the government could give a rats pituty what Judge Sullivan thinks. Just who is "the government" here? One of Obie's hold-over appointees?

As far as I can see, the only two folks doing anything on the deep state coup are Sidney Powell and the people over at Judicial Watch. Perhaps Mr. Barr and Mr. Durham are moving pretty quickly, but until they put their money on the table, I'm going to play the role of the Apostle Thomas and when I see, I'll believe.
Republicans in Congress? Especially the Senate? Fuggedaboutit. A couple guys in the House get kudos, but I doubt that Minority Leader Mc Carthy really wants them to succeed either.
Remember the mysterious "Mr. Huber" in Utah who was supposed to ferret out the skunks? I think he was just a cardboard cutout of a lawyer that was put out to make us rubes in flyover country think something was going on.

All I know is that it seemed for a while as though Flynn was close to being tapped out financially, gave up and was waiting for sentencing. Then, we saw links posted for fundraising for Flynn and next? BAM. Sidney Powell on the case. I was one who proudly sent $$ to support him. I'm wondering if there was such a swell of financial support that came in that it changed the game for Flynn. I'll be thrilled when he's exonerated. Even more thrilled if the FBI has to pay his legal fees but not holding my breath.

Sidney is an amazing awesome lawyer. My hope is she gets his case dismissed and orders the prosecutors to pay all of his legal defense costs. Flynn is a hero and a victim of the Deep State Mob our trying to destroy Trump and all associated with him.

6 & 10. Asking government entities to return funds stolen is no consequence to the miscreants that caused the evil attacks on innocent citizens. One of the endemic failures of our system of government is that those responsible for deliberate evils they cause to individual citizens or groups are rarely if ever held responsible.
Comey bragged that he deliberately went about playing out a plan to "trap" Flynn and should be the one to put up the bucks out of his back pocket to square up with Flynn, not US, tax paying citizens.

Well, did the FBI meet the 1 Nov date? I'm sure Powell will meet today's date.

Either the DoJ needs to drop these charges against Flynn or the judge needs to dismiss the case WITH PREJUDICE.
Either way, Flynn needs to be set free. And then he needs to sue his previous attorneys for incompetence, or collusion with the prosecutors and recover DOUBLE what he paid them.
