Susan Rice: Trump should have notified Obama
ahead of Baghdadi raid

Original Article

Former national security adviser Susan Rice believes President Trump should have notified his predecessor about the U.S. raid that ended in the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Rice appeared on CBS's Face The Nation Sunday following Trump's press conference, during which he announced Baghdadi's death. During the presser, Trump confirmed that the now-former head of ISIS was killed after detonating a suicide vest while he was surrounded by three of his children in a cave. Rice began by praising the military action, calling it "a major milestone" and adding that "it's one that we should be welcoming quite plainly."

I thought Obama LOVED finding out about world events through the news media!!

Susan Rice, why should have Trump informed a former President of a secret mission? Professional courtesy? WHat courtesy did Obama extend towards illegal coup attempt, illegal spying vis the FISA court, illegal wiretaps, collusion with foreign nationals to set traps for Trump with the goal of having him impeached? You were a bad liar that Sunday morning btw, Susie.

Well, heck! I think President Trump should just go on tee-vee and announce it to the whole wide world before beginning the next military operation. That way, everyone can get safely out of the way and plan accordingly for defense (Otherwise, it's NOT FAIR. Everyone--except true Americans--MUST get a participation trophy, after all)! Of course, Odamnit had this part of warfare down pat--drop fliers to warn people of an impending attack; that way, no one gets hurt! Yeah, that'll make everybody happy (except the military and those who love and support yhe military--you know, like, patriots)! (Eye roll!)

I don't see why he had to notify anyone. Why jeopardize the safety of our military by going beyond the "need-to-know?" Obama didn't need to know. Did he advise Bush in advance about the bin Laden raid? I know he called him afterwards but don' t think he did before. But in any event, the safest course is to advise no one other than the commanders and the aides who are involved.

I don't think Emperor Obama the First, whose name was to be praised and his word to be law, told President Bush of the take-down of Osama binLaden until after it was done. He had no requirement to notify President Bush, nor does President Trump have any requirement to notify former Emperor Obama the First or any Congresscritter in advance.

The so-called “whistleblower” (who dd not follow the protocol necessary to qualify for whistleblower protections) could well be facing serious legal jeopardy. Sean Davis writes in the Federalist: Testimony by Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) Michael Atkinson revealed that the whistleblower, whom Real Clear Investigations has identified as former National Security Council (NSC) staffer and current Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) analyst Eric Ciaramella, concealed his contacts with Schiff from the ICIG in his complaint form. If the anti-Trump complainant did, in fact, refuse to disclose previous disclosures of his allegations to Congress or the news media, he could be subject to felony criminal penalties for making false statements.

Daylight savings time has been with us in the United States since the days of World War I. It has seen several changes since then but still exists essentially in its original form. Clocks are changed during the summer months to move an hour of daylight from the morning to the evening. The stated intent of daylight savings time is to make better use of daylight. The supposed tangible benefits are that it reduces crime, lowers energy usage, and reduces traffic accidents.

Democrats and their media allies, not to mention “Never Trump” Republicans like Ana Navarro, are beside themselves after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi failed to get a single Republican lawmaker to back her play, which would have allowed her to call their maneuver to unseat President Trump a “bipartisan” effort.
