As a key witness testified in the impeachment inquiry Tuesday, President Trump stirred up outrage by describing the investigation against him as a “lynching,” a word deeply tied to America’s history of racially-motivated murders. “Something like lynching is far beneath the office of the President of the United States,” South Carolina’s Rep. Jim Clyburn said. California’s Rep. Karen Bass said the comment was part of a pattern. “Everytime his back is against the wall he uses race,” Bass said. “He throws out race as a bomb to divert the attention.” Still, some supporters defended the President.

Isn’t it so convenient how this testimony is ‘leaked”. So what if President Trump goes after a lawbreaking opponent. That is the benefit of incumbency. If you don’t want to be investigated, don’t break the law.

Negroes do not get to use lynch for their exclusive interpretation. Mayor Lynch of the port Galway had a son who killed Spanish nobleman in that city.. Spain threatened reprisals. Lynch castle stills stand and is now a bank building. So fearing Spain, Mayor tied a rope around the lad's neck and and let him swing from a window. Lynch was used too indicate a hanging at a time when Africans were still . sitting around campfires enjoying a dinner of a roasted forearm of a child.

Another coward hiding behind anonymity. If a person has something to say that is worth listening to or reading about, put your name on it and stand behind your comments.

If everything's a bombshell, nothing's a bombshell. I'd like to hang anyone who uses that term in an article.

Growing up I watched quite a few westerns where white men were lynched by white men. The word does not belong to one race. The dems reach for anything and everything to smear the best president America has had in my almost 70 yrs., and most likely much longer than that. I wish the uniformed would wake up and realize we are in a war of freedom vs communism, and war of good vs evil.

Plenty of innocent white people were lynched in the old West as anyone who likes Clint Eastwood westerns can vouch for. As for the quid pro quo charge, the person Taylor was talking to, Sonderland, repeated told him there was none based on his personal conversations with the President but he refused to accept the facts. Since the Ukrainians on the July 25th phone call weren't even aware of the pending aid package until the end of August it would have been the first example of a time travelling quid pro quo in our Universe. And since Trump never mentioned the aid package on the phone it would also be the first psychic time travelling quid pro quo in our Universe.

"Lynching" was practiced for a long time before America had slaves. Anything they can use to give whitey a black eye (pun intended) is pulled off the shelf at every opportunity. Can't blame this one on Elijah.

The demonrat word police are showing themselves and one MA politician is taking it to heart by a bill to outlaw the word "bi--h". It's an open in your face plot to get rid of the lst Amd. If you love your country and your freedoms, never ever elect a demonrat.

That must be some "bombshell testimony" if it's overshadowed by someone saying, "lynching."
