Turns out, the scramble for political money has become far more decisive in the Democratic primary races than any of their policy papers or tedious TV debates. And in that money contest, former Vice President Joe Biden has also become the former front-runner for 2020. He’s now lagging far behind the new frontrunners: Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren and — wait for it — Pete Buttigieg, the fresh-faced Indiana mayor. [Snip] Fresh third-quarter campaign finance reports indicate donors are already picking winners in the still-crowded field. And they’re also picking losers, some of whom may not even make it to the first voting. And then there’s

Lemme see... Americans wouldn't elect a woman who was married to Bill Clinton after a couple of tries but they're going to elect the wife of some gay guy in South Bend with absolutely no name recognition?

The primaries start well before any actual voting. By the time Iowa holds their caucus only 4-5 candidates will still be in the race,

So instead of ‘super delegates’ wiping out the choices of Democrat voters the race is now owned by Big Money. There is more than a little irony in this spectacle.

If "follow the money" is a truism the supposedly moderate Democrats represented by Biden are now a minority segment of that party. Sanders and Warren, representing the radically socialist/communist segment are what the Democrat party is now. Even with a Trump win next year and more assured conservative judicial appointments this country's slide into socialism will, at best, be slowed. It won't be stopped and we're never going to return to what "the greatest generation" embodied. Too much damage has already been done.

Face is not the anatomical part that comes to mind when thinking of Mayor Pete. But, the point is well taken.

Chances are in the end the Democrat primaries, and all those politicians who participated, will be forgotten when the Democrat big money donors swing into action as the Democrat National Convention approaches, to hand the Democrat nomination to some other Democrat who will not have emerged on the national scene until that elite donor class presents him of her as the person who they decide can defeat President Trump. The Democrats are not about to argue with their big money donors, so the fix will be in.

If it does wind up being Warren or Sanders all PDT has to do is ask the country - Would you rather live in an economy like the one you have enjoyed here for the last four years or would you rather live in Venezuela?

Any ticket with Pete Butt on it is doomed to failure. America is not going to vote for a same sex spouse regardless of what the media says. The media can scream homophobe all they want. It won't make a difference. The only people buying what the MSM peddles are the brainwashed and committed lefties. Everyone else has learned to tune them out.
The big-money in the Democratic party wants a hardcore lefty. That rules out Joe Biden. Rule out Bernie Sanders due to his age and health. Especially after the heart attack. Besides, big-money wants someone they can control, and Comrade Bernie just might take every penny from them.
That leaves the fake Indian that reminds everybody of Hillary Clinton. She is a hardcore lefty, but can be bought. Big-money would like someone with a better chance of winning, but there isn't anyone.
A last minute coronation of Hillary Clinton or Michelle Obama? Not going to happen folks. They would have no organization, and would lose. Don't think Michelle wants it. Hillary would like another try which just makes her a glutton for punishment. Does that also make Michelle smarter than Hillary??? Doubt the support is truly there for another Hillary run too. Both the votes and the big-money.
Watch the billionaire Democrats running for President. One of them just might buy the VP seat. They also have the money for the longrun even if they do not have the votes. They will likely stick around until the end.
