President Trump is often described as a bull in a china shop, but one wonders: what, exactly, is the china shop? The Democrats have debased our public life to the point where it is more apt to say that Trump is a bull trying to defend himself in a slaughterhouse. You could adduce instances of the Democrats’ lack of the most basic decency every day; here are just two for today. First, Senator Rand Paul and a friend were eating lunch when they were confronted and harassed by demented Democrats. This is the sort of thing that never happens to politicians on the other side of the aisle. Maybe it should:

Being a Trump supporter today is like being the older child with a younger sibling who is hell on wheels and loves to do anything to provoke you to lose your temper and retaliate but when you do, mom blames you and takes up for the “baby”. As baby is getting a soft hug from mom and behind her back, you get a self-satisfying grin from the little monster. That’s pretty much the SOP of the democrat party with the media playing the role of mom. It is so frustrating to witness the treatment of this President. I have never seen anything like it and I do believe it is by design. Without the support of the media, the democrats could not pull this off. The media and democrat party re one. They have the same goals and use the same strategy. They know us. We are not like them. We do not cause trouble and get in your face and make demands. It is not who we are and I am afraid the country is suffering under the weight of their aggressive bullying and our passivity. Of course, we do not want to be like them but laying fair and by the rules is not effective with these anarchists, We wait patiently to hear if our government is capable of policing itself or if the rule of law has been abandoned by the political class. I fear we do not have the will and courage to insist that the corrupt political class be brought to justice. Will we just accept the old bromide that says, violations were committed but we choose not to prosecute? What then? Clearly, using the ballot box has been ineffective in making our wishes known. The democrats have rejected our choice. Our votes have been nullified by the democrats who have pushed for impeachment from the President’s first day in office. F after all the revelations that have come to light, the DOJ refuses to prosecute, what recourse do we have? I am appalled by the lack of courage in the Republican Party to fight for the right of American citizens to choose their President. We are shortly going to be faced with a very serious decision. Do we accept the unacceptable to keep the peace or do we rise up and force our government to respect our decision and the rule of law. We all know what the democrats would do if the tables were turned. Our country would besieged with violence and chaos. Who wants that? The powers that be should listen to the will of the people and do their job regardless of party or status. Justice is our right. It is imperative for self-governing. Without it, we are no better than any dictatorship. Americans will not stand for more excuses. Righteous indignation is a powerful motivator that will surprise the ruling class.

John, this is the screaming and compost throwing that goes on when a roving band of monkeys confront something that terrifies them; human beings, acting like human beings. The children of the left long ago gave up human dignity, as that was said to be traditionalist propaganda. Now we are entertained as if on a public veranda in the tropics by arthropods who harass, rob, and attack us, because they have never been taught how to behave.

The China Shop in Trump's case is the DC Swamp and Deep State. Trump has been running amok in it, knocking big holes in it as he goes. He really dealt a blow to Deep State and their private funding of off the books operations when he encouraged the Saudi Crown Prince to purge all those Princes and Officers from their positions. Those princes had been a source of funding for the Deep State for who knows how long. Plus, many of the Bush personal friends were on the purge list as well. So that globalist legacy of Poppy Bush took a mortal blow, and I am glad it happened before Poppy passed. Trump pulled a really big plug, far larger than anyone of us knows. So that is Trump being the bull in the China Shop. Darn glad of it too.

The progressives are so sure that they are right that they are blind to their own amorality. Everything the Left touches it damages, be it lives, education, medical care, entire cities, liberty or societal norms that took thousands of years for human beings to attain. Nothing the Left does surprises me. Which hill will conservatives ultimately choose (or be forced to choose) to die on? I don't know. But I do know, that the behavior of the Left makes me donate to President Trump, and I would indeed crawl over broken glass to vote for him. Donald J. Trump bravely stands between Americans and the debauchery and corruption of the Left.He is our champion.

CNN chief legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin voiced regret on Monday for how he covered the Hillary Clinton email scandal during her failed 2016 presidential run, saying in hindsight that he “should have been talking about other issues.” Toobin made the comments while responding to Friday’s news on the Justice Department finally concluding their investigation into the Clinton email matter and found no “systemic” effort from the former secretary of state to flout laws protecting classified information. “This is also a story about the news media, about how much time we spent on that, and that’s something that I have felt a great deal of personal responsibility for,” Toobin told CNN’s New Day.

When I was a kid, I collected baseball cards. I grew up in an isolated and not especially large town, but it did have one comic book and baseball card shop that I spent a lot of time in, salivating over the Mark McGwire rookie card in the display case. I couldn’t afford it — it was worth maybe $5 at the time — so I would usually just buy a pack of Topps or Donruss cards for 50 cents and hope I got lucky in what I found. Obviously, I didn’t get as lucky finding the cards for my favorite players as I would have liked.

After being acquitted in May 1987 of all 10 counts of larceny and fraud — charges that some said were politically motivated — in connection with a New York City subway project, former Reagan administration Labor Secretary Ray Donovan turned to the Bronx prosecutor and famously asked, “Which office do I go to, to get my reputation back?” That same thought surely has crossed the mind of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh more than once in the year since he barely survived a politically motivated, evidence-free smear campaign by liberal activists and Senate Democrats aimed at blocking his elevation to the high court. But now, nine Republican

U.S. Attorney John Durham intends to interview former CIA Director John Brennan as part of his investigation into U.S. intelligence agencies’ activities in the Trump-Russia probe, according to NBC News. Brennan told NBC News, where he is an analyst, that both he and James Clapper, the former director of national intelligence, are sought for interviews with Durham’s investigators. The interviews, should they occur, would signal that Durham is expanding his investigation. Attorney General William Barr appointed Durham to oversee an inquiry into U.S. agencies’ Trump-related intelligence-gathering activities earlier this year. Barr said he was not satisfied with official explanations about the origins of the investigation into possible ties

Protests are roiling cities across the world as fed-up citizens take to the streets to vent their grievances — both peacefully and violently — about economic conditions, government corruption and crippling tax hikes. Hong Kong has been gripped by more than 20 weeks of violent clashes — while in Barcelona, old wounds have reopened as protesters once again demand Catalonia be recognized as a country separate from Spain. Lebanon, meanwhile, appears to be on the brink of disastrous civil unrest again. Here’s a look at some of the flareups. Chile

Just when you thought the Democratic primary race could not get any nuttier (Bill de Blasio’s hapless quest sets a high bar), along comes Hillary Clinton accusing Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of being a Russian agent. Or, words to that effect. More accurately, in a podcast hosted by former Obama apparatchik David Plouffe, Clinton said candidate Gabbard is “the favorite of the Russians” and suggested Moscow was supporting her bid through fake social media postings. Since Gabbard is only polling at 1.2 percent, according to the Real Clear Politics average, Russia doesn’t seem to be helping much. More important, there is zero evidence that any such meddling has occurred.

Trump will win reelection in 2020 for three reasons: First, the voters are always reluctant to replace a president in a time of peace and prosperity, regardless of his perceived flaws. Second, a transparently partisan impeachment vote in the House followed by a fair trial and acquittal in the Senate, will seriously damage the Democratic brand while sparking an internal civil war between its moderate and leftwing factions. Finally, this ideological conflict within the opposition party will result in the nomination of a weak compromise candidate to face a vindicated and politically stronger incumbent President awash in cash and supported by highly motivated voters. When Jay Fielden, late of Esquire, announced his departure as editor-in-chief this past May, he did it in foppish style. An Instagram post showed him leaving Hearst Tower dressed in a safari jacket and dark sunglasses, designer bags in hand. The photo, which fastidiously aped a famous shot of Jack Nicholson, was roundly mocked on social media. But it served as a fitting, if unwitting, symbol of how the Esquire of today stands in comparison with the Esquire of an earlier era—as a self-conscious echo, a superficial imitation of its former self. Nicholson, after all, was merely living his life; Fielden was playing pretend.
