Women and several prominent feminists have called for a boycott of Always sanitary pads after it was revealed that the company decided to remove a female symbol from their products amidst pressure from transgender activists groups. (Snip)Procter & Gamble, the maker of Always, capitulated to the demands of the activists, announcing: “We are glad to inform you that as of December we will use a wrapper design without the feminine symbol.”
The decision to remove the ‘Venus’ symbol from the sanitary pad wrapper across Europe prompted widespread outrage from women, with some calling for a boycott of Always products.

Boycott, excellent idea. When will these companies realize that their "woke" ad departments are not woke only PC and PC has gotten old and tired.

It gets more ridiculous by the day. Next thing you know they will be demanding that the Trojan be removed from every pack of Trojans.

Ratcheting derangement. What is absurd today is mainstreamed just down the road. We'd be hard pressed to determine how far over the cliff we are because we've been there for so long now.

I never boycott any company!!!
A "boycott" indicates a temporary stoppage of buying a company's products or services. Once you are evil and lose me as a customer, you have lost me forever. There is nothing you can do to get me back once your evil actions and words have driven me away!!!
I haven't watched 2 seconds of the NFL since the whole kneeling fiasco started, and I never will voluntarily watch them again!!!! I was already done with Gillette, but now the whole P&G company is history to me!!!
Don't think I am going to miss them at all!!!

They were carrying on about all these gender calendar days that I've never even heard of, but are out there. It's enough to make one wonder why we needed abortions for the last fifty years when the current generation doesn't seem to grasp their part in procreating. P & G is 'glad to inform' us that due to pressure from 0.001% of the population, they are going to alienate the 99.999% of the rest of the population. This is not just a company that simply is being 'woke' or whatever the current term is. There is something else going on here. Look at what else has happened recently: Atheists filing lawsuits against Christian symbols (Muslim symbols are okay, though), Gillette telling men they're not allowed to be men, ignorant brat-packs telling us we have to remove our historical statues and paintings, Big Brother tech companies telling us what is acceptable and what is not acceptable speech. Anyone else besides me see a pattern happening here?

The intentional switching of gender roles by these idiot companies is not just a matter of advertising. It is universal admission of hatred towards the God of creation and an open opposition to all who follow the Genesis model.

The P&G Board needs to replace their CEO. The company has lost focus on profit because of stupid politically correct actions. time for house cleaning AND a public mea cupa.

FTA: "not everyone who menstruates identifies as female."
There is a big confusion between perception and reality.
Identification of a female as a male is a perception; menstruation by a female is reality.

I am so sick and tired of this insane stupidity. No man, trans to a woman or not, will not, cannot have a period. Anymore than a woman who has trans to a man will need a prostrate exam. My Lord this has got to stop. The more you are pulled into their insane mental problems the more they want. I am a normal female and somehow I am the one with the problem. You are enabling these people in their delusion. Stop it. Besides, you do not have the right to think you should go through life and never be offended.

I would love to go back to the days when we didn't see the words "menstruation" or "hygiene products" in headlines. Some things should stay private. I have always (no pun intended) been uncomfortable with ads for those products since I was a teen, and now we have ads for bladder control products, Vagisil, condoms, Viagra, Cialis and even a drug for men with crooked, er... sticks. Enough!

I stopped, knowingly, buying and P&G products back when Gillette opted to lecture men. Looks like my choice is now permanent. I have alternatives to razors, laundry soap, dishwasher soap, fabric softener, anti-cling sheets etc etc. I used to spend several hundred dollars a year with P&G over the past 40 plus years. Money I now spend elsewhere.

Ah, another Gilette moment for a company. Nothing like upsetting the customer to appease the politically correct. Like trans women (is that a man pretending to be a woman?) is gonna buy this product.

Between men "identifying" as women in school sports (and leaving biological girls and women in the dust competitively) and now removing feminine symbols from women's sanitary products, it seems as though women are being erased from our society. What do "victimized" groups call that? Pretty sure they call it "intersectionality". LOL

#2, they probably ought to change the name anyway. After all, the Trojans lost the war to the Achaeans. Who wants to buy something doomed by the gods?

I may have missed it, but where is some genuine feminist outrage for these transgendered men who enter into competitive sports with young women who worked and sacrificed all their lives to reach a certain expertise only to lose to a transgirl who has the muscular structure of a man. The feminists should be lived and stand up for those young girls, instead they keep their mouths shut. It's a disgrace.

One of the silliest parts of this is that they remove Venus because trans activists assume because of her appearance that Venus identifies as (and was born) a woman. What bigots! /S
