Earlier today, the Atlantic’s McKay Coppins published a lengthy profile on Mitt Romney, apparently part of Romney’s effort to set himself up as the noble Republican foil to an out-of-control president. These sorts of pieces, which are more about narrative setting than anything else, typically don’t contain a lot of new information, but this had one notable exception. About midway through, the usually guarded senator revealed that, just like fellow lone-voice-of reason-haver James Comey, he was the owner of a secret Twitter account. (Snip)Reader, meet Twitter user @qaws9876, otherwise known as PIerre Delecto.

The fun of this is the window opened into Mitt’s would-be patrician and private mind. And his obsessive self-interest … Ashley Feinberg has done a darned good job of sleuthing. Lots of things here that pretty much support the account’s being his. And within a short time after her article was published, the account went private.

It couldn't happen to a bigger douche-rocket. To quote Montoya, "I hope he feels humiliations galore."

Thanks Utah! (Just kidding - I'm in Utah, and we usually get some version of that response on every Mitt Romney article.) For the record, I worked against him and voted against him, and have had quite enough of him!!

I thought the account would be @despicable_me or similar.
Romney is a backstabbing globalist tool. I am pleased that he was never President.

Interesting follow-up to the "Mitt in the Middle" which was a Drudge headline.
From that article: "After he was elected in November, Romney began typing out a list on his iPad of all the things he wanted to accomplish in the Senate. It was 50 items long by the time he showed it to his staff, and though they laughed, he continued undeterred. By the time we spoke, it had grown to 60, with priorities ranging from complex systemic reforms—overhauling the immigration system, reducing the deficit, addressing climate change—to narrower issues such as compensating college athletes and regulating the vaping industry."
Just think of all the wonderful things Mitt could've accomplished, if Trump weren't living in his head!! /sarcasm
Considering the short time Mr. Romney has been in Washington, it's quite amazing how quickly he was enveloped in the swamp-slime!

At the end of the article, Feinberg ties up all the loose ends that point to this being Mitt's secret twitter account, but she can't figure out the significance of the name 'Pierre Delecto'. In his youth, Mitt was a Mormon missionary in France, and speaks the language. That would account for the 'Pierre' part of the name......

#10, he probably blew the Latin word "delicto" as in flagarante delicto, literally flaming misdeed or flaming offense or flaming crime. So, "delicto" is Latin for misdeed, offense or crime. Delicto became erroneously Delecto.
So, the "misdeed" of hiding his identity, and then Pierre is the French version of Peter. Peter Crime? Peter Misdeed? Peter Offense?
Getting pretty weird here.
In any case, Romney has admitted to the account, and it has been put private. Nothing much interesting there really, anyway.

Mittens Romney is a RINO holier then thou wimp who could not make it past Candy Crowley during the presidential debates. The USA would be in a very big bind if Romney ever assumes a position where he gets to negotiate on behalf of the USA against the dictators of the world, who would chew Romney up, spit him out, and kick him into the gutter.

Two bullets...we dodged one when the Butcher wasn't elected and we dodged another one when Mittens wasn't elected. Sadly, the country ran into a nuclear missile when Barry got elected and brought the country down to almost 3rd world status with all his corruption permeating the entire goobermint. That's how we got Russia, Russia, Russia, and now Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine and impeachment, impeachment, impeachment. I wish PT would get rid of the E.O. unionizing the fed goobermint with its inherent jobs for criminal life so we're back to firings of incompetents and subversives for cause. And a real DOJ that prosecutes the whole damn bunch instead of this mealy mouth excuse of 'no intent'.

Try the Latin delecto, his spelling, where it is “alluring”, “charming”, amusing”. Sounds more like MittPierre…

The “stalking by Slate” was the result of a reporter’s noticing something odd and following it. That’s what investigative reporters do. And the curious thing is that she came up with a negative about someone who is out to take down President Trump. At Slate that is courageous...

Somehow, Mitt's posts end up on my Facebook feed everyday. I'd block it, but the comments are hilarious and uncensored.
