Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Tuesday she will not stage a vote on the House floor to officially launch an impeachment inquiry into President Trump.
The decision came after Democratic leaders, returning to Washington following a two-week recess, had reached out to members of their diverse caucus to gauge the party's support for such a vote.
After back-to-back meetings with party leaders and then the full caucus, Pelosi announced that no such vote would take place. Democratic aides emphasized, however, that the process remains fluid and that Pelosi may reverse course and stage such a vote at any point in the future.
But of course Madame San Fran. As you wish Madame. Is their anything else?

This is not impeachment. It is just another witch hunt. Don’t let them spread this narrative! This is unlike any impeachment the country has ever seen. It is a Frankenstein Monster and should be called out.

As we can see, Pelosi, the Shifter, and the dims now realize that they have painted themselves into a corner. How fitting. I like the way that Wong & Lillis put it into words "...that the process remains fluid and that Pelosi may reverse course...". This speaks volumes of the discord within the dim's "...diverse caucus...".

I doubt she will stage any vote later. If she doesn't have the votes now I doubt she will have the votes later as the dems want to hold onto their seats. They will listen to their constituents before listening to her. The folks back home will decide if there is going to be a vote.

She doesn't have the votes, and will continue the fake, secret, lying "investigation" which isn't actually investigating anything.

The Salem witch trials had more integrity. I know that sounds like hyperbole but it is quite an absolute truth.

When you are committing Sedition openly . You have to take this position to convince the people that are on board with this Coup that they won't be arrested with you when the time comes. I've been hanging around since Truman , and this is the most despicable, lawless, un Constitutional act I have ever seen the Democrats pull. Surpassed only by the FBI/CIA hit on JFK.

Fluid. Of course. She's scared to death that if she holds a vote, a)It will pass and Republicans will be allowed to attend and participate or b) It won't pass. If they can't tolerate a process vote, how does she expect to pass actual articles of impeachment.

This is the most immoral and politically corrupt "inquiry" I have seen in my lifetime. Even the McCarthy Un-American Activities Committee witch hunt was never this bad. Appointing Adam Schiff, the most shameless and vicious liar in Congress, to head this "inquiry" proves my point.

There are many cures for cold feet, Nancy, especially when one gets to be your age. A warm bath, a heating pad or a thick robe with a set of booties. Wouldn't it be nice to just return to San Francisco, curl up with a good book and try not to look out the windows at the tent cities springing up around your democrat paradise? You are no longer able to play in this game.

Can't have a vote because the reps who vote on it would have to explain it to their constituents.
It's a scam and there are no whistleblowers except tin Adam Schiff head. Pelosi and all know a hearing has to questioned by the opposing side along with the accused and that can't happen. Pelosi is skating and Schiff is making a fool of himself.

I urge everyone to call their House representative and express your views.
They need to be reminded that they work for YOU, not for Pelosi or any of the other House leadership.
This is a political debacle; end it politically by expressing yourself to members of Congress.

The idea of actually cooperating with Trump on this really sticks in her craw doesn't it? She is so arrogant she thinks she can get away with breaking all the rules, and not have her own skeletons on Ukraine surface. Goose, Gander and Sauce Nancy, don't forget that. I truly hope Trump unloads both barrels tomorrow. This is such a waste of our taxpayer funds and time. Things that should actually be better spent on doing things they were elected to do, like serve the nation honestly, not corruptly like currently happening.

Translation: We don’t have enough votes. We’ll go without a vote. We’ll just smear the daylights out of him.
(Advice from Lawfare.)
As Victor Davis Hanson wrote:
The impeachment “Inquiry” can do as much damage as a formal vote without the downside of endangering Democrats in purple congressional districts, at least for a while. The aim is to create slow-motion, sustained hysteria, throw out leaks, whistleblowers’ accusations, transcripts, emails, hearsay, and what not, and see what sticks—without House members going on record until there is enough chaos created to ensure positive polls.
The blueprint is the psychodrama of the Kavanaugh circus that tanked Kavanaugh’s popularity and weakened Trump. The Intelligence Committee, as is Rep. Adam Schiff’s (D.-Calif.) forte, can leak selectively, never release full transcripts, call in anonymous witnesses, and now and then use redactions and immunities.
The Democrats can wheel Schiff out daily to his media platform to grimace, and in pained expressions suggest that the flabbergasting things he just heard, read, and saw behind closed doors are bombshells, turning points, nails-in-the-coffin, walls-are-closing-in disasters for Trump that he unfortunately cannot divulge in full detail, given the classified nature of his proceedings. If Schiff gets the required poll numbers, the House can vote to proceed.

Schiff and Pelosi apparently didn’t, but their scorched earth “inquiry" will proceed...

The amazing thing is they believe they can turn the tide on public opinion, and then move to impeach.
But, the main thing is they are playing to their base, and Tom Steyer, who have demanded impeachment since he won the election in 2016.

Bottom line, this leftist Democrat initiated impeachment fiasco is making the USA look stupid and weak around the world, especially in adversarial countries like China and Russia run by strongmen, that cannot fathom removing the President of the USA from office, thus undoing the 2016 election, based upon the content of a telephone call with a foreign leader where the President asked the foreign leader to cooperate with the US Attorney General as he manages an authorized US Department of Justice criminal investigation into political corruption and other wrongdoing surrounding the 2016 election, that could result in prosecutions in accordance with US law and criminal justice rules. Such leftist Democrat efforts to limit or destroy the President’s discretion in conducting foreign affairs is bound to hurt the President’s ability to deal and negotiate with adversarial foreign countries in the future.
Under the Constitution the President has always been interpreted to have wide discretion in the conduct of US foreign affairs. That would obviously include the President talking on the telephone confidentially with foreign leaders without being spied on by bureaucratic supporters of the opposite political party, who then report the content of the President’s conversation to selected political opponents of the President in the Congress, via a misuse of the federal “whistleblower” laws, that were passed to give federal employees a way to report wrongdoing in the federal bureaucratic agencies where they are employed, but not the President’s discretion to conduct foreign affairs, or White House operations that have never been encompassed to be covered under those “whistleblower” laws. Could it be that the Congressional Democrats through their faux impeachment inquisition are trying to decide the 2020 election in the Democrat’s favor, before the American people even vote, while protecting a high level Democrat politician from being investigated for wide ranging nepotistic corruption.

San Fran Nan is looking really bad lately. The videos of her on Fox News this morning showed someone who was probably on a drunken spree the night before, and that she painfully rolled out of bed just long enough to get in front of the cameras. And the drinks arent mixing well with the botox. Who wouldn't need to be three quarters cocked to play the phony role she's playing lately? And I don't feel any sympathy for that hag.
