Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Chuck Schumer stormed out of a White House sitdown on Syria with President Trump after he called Pelosi “ a third-rate politician” and a Communist sympathizer in what the House speaker termed “a meltdown.” “He was insulting, particularly to the speaker. She kept her cool completely. But he called her a third rate politician. He said that there are communists involved and you guys might like that,” Schumer said. “This was not a dialogue. It was sort of a diatribe, a nasty diatribe not focused on the facts, particularly the fact of how to curtail ISIS,

Since they had a podium, the media and cameras there for their "I"m ready for the spotlight, Mr. DeMille" moment, you know this was all staged, and crafted to create an image they are trying to portray. Using the word "meltdown" is to give the impression Trump is losing it, needs urgent action. That House Minority leader, Kevin McCarthy, stated a very different conversation says all you need to know on the Democrats' scripted show.

Good move, Schumer! Tell the whole world that Nancy left the Oval whimpering and simpering, and you, whining. From the day Donald Trump was elected, the Dem/Left has been vigorously maneuvering the ouster of the President. THEY are the seditionists, and they've been colluding with media to perpetuate their despicable schemes, not caring an iota for the welfare of the Republic. I just hope someone in the room said, "Hey Chuck and Nancy! Don't let the door hit you two in the glutei maximi!"

The way I heard it, Trump handed Pelosi a copy of the letter he sent Erdegon and she put it face down on the table and smiled. It sounds like the same old same old in terms of trying to make Trump look bad and unstable, bearing in mind I think our President made a huge mistake pulling our 50 men out of Syria and then sending 500 (?) to Saudi Arabia....what is THAT all about? In any case, the Russians are back in business and the oil wells, such as they are, are now available to them and the Iranians, and the Kurds, who, for whatever reason, fought ISIS for us, have been hung out to dry. And I am a Trump Republican.......Mollie Hemingway is really getting to me.

President Trump was just stating the obvious. Chuck Schumer just sits on his hands in the Senate and escorts' Nancy Pelosi around for fake sit downs with the President then roams the halls looking for cameras and microphones. Nancy Pelosi hasn't done a days work since she became speaker and just tries to herd her ranting chickens around the capital. Pelosi on any given day can be found in a sound bite berating the President and promoting impeachment. This is not what the people want. Pelosi and the democrats stand in the way of getting this government and policies on track after the eight year reign of terror by Obama and the traitorous cabal he led. The President is right if communism in the world spreads Pelosi and the left should be celebrating it's what they want for the United States and they're not shy to let us know.

The people who stayed including dems said the meeting was very productive after C & N left. Just another stunt to try to prove Trump is looney when they are the looney tunes. She didn’t look like she “kept her cool” when she was the only one at the table standing up, shaking her finger at him and scolding him. I guess she forgot that people take photos at these meetings. A repub at the meeting said the President was passing around the letter to Erdogan to people at the table so they could read it. When the letter reached Pelosi, she turned it face down without reading it, then smirked a him. Sounds like a third-rate politician to me. As an aside, I like to watch Pelosi when she is with a group of dims at the microphone. When she isn’t speaking, she thinks no one can see her, so that’s when she messes around with her mouth and tongue, making weird facial spasms and bobbing her head up and down. I guess she has bad dentures and is trying to get them back in place. She’s fun to watch.

During the October 15, Democrat debate Robert “Beto” O’Rourke made clear that AR-15 owners who refuse to hand over their guns will have them taken away. O’Rourke reiterated his plan to use a government-mandated buyback to confiscate privately-owned AR-15s and AK-47s. In so doing, he claimed that each AR-15 and AK-47 in private hands is a “potential instrument of terror.” CNN’s Anderson Cooper then asked O’Rourke how he plans to get people to hand over their rifles. O’Rourke responded by explaining that he expects complains with the mandatory buybacks. He said, “I expect my fellow Americans to follow the law. The same way we enforce any provision

The bell in the Independence Hall tower rang at 9 a.m., and Mark Sanford took a deep breath. He grabbed a giant check for “one trillion dollars,” stood next to a tiny wooden lectern, and asked me if I was ready for him to kick off a news conference announcing his bid to challenge President Donald Trump in the 2020 Republican primary. It didn’t really feel like a news conference. I was the only reporter there.

President Trump faced criticism on social media and from journalists after claiming the United States has a "shared political and cultural history" with Italy because of ancient Rome. During a press conference with Italian President Sergio Mattarella, Trump noted that Italy and the U.S. are bound together through shared ties to the ancient city, saying, "The United States and Italy are bound together by a shared cultural and political heritage dating back thousands of years to ancient Rome." The Founding Fathers of the U.S. had a well-documented affinity for the Roman republic, evidence of which is prevalent in American representative government and civic architecture.

Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts was the big winner Tuesday night in Westerville, Ohio in the most crowded presidential debate ever held. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Ind., also delivered strong performances. Former Vice President Joe Biden and the other eight candidates on stage came out the losers in the three-hour Democratic presidential primary debate. Warren’s strong performance will likely solidify her frontrunner status ahead of Biden and Sanders. She emerged the clear winner of the night by showing she was sharp and prepared as she fended off attacks from candidates who were looking to cut into her polling lead.
