While many of the headlines from Ronan Farrow’s bombshell book relate to the shocking allegation of rape against Matt Lauer, the NBC News division is in chaos with its leadership Andy Lack and Noah Oppenheim “quivering in their suits,” according to multiple insiders.
The book “Catch and Kill” details how NBC decided to kill the Harvey Weinstein exposé after the movie mogul effectively “laid siege” to NBC News chairman Lack and NBC News president Oppenheim during Farrow’s investigation. Farrow reports that in a September 2017 phone call, Lack told Weinstein’s attorney, “We’ve told Harvey we are not doing a story.”
Calling what they do at NBC "news" is a joke right?

Why and how did the detente between so-called competing networks come into being?
These people worship at the altar of ratings. Wouldn't destroying a competitor's brand by detailing the crimes and perversions of its most visible on-screen 'talent' go a long way to putting a dent in their Nielsens?
Matt Lauer is not OJ Simpson but he was a household name for decades. The ladies loved him - ironically. But NBC was the proverbial fool or knave. In either case they allowed him to build the equivalent of a rape room and looked the other way when a string of women were propositioned, assaulted or worse. The idea that nobody said a thing to NBC management is too ludicrous for words. Which meant they knew and did nothing - or worse than nothing.
Yet ABC, CBS and even Fox aren't covering this in proportion to the subject's visibility and nature of offenses. Why?
PS - NBC/MSNBC is also the home of two female reporters who were publishing classified info that had been leaked to them and one of the females was sleeping with the man supplying the leaks.
NBC isn't just the home of leftist moonbattery. It's a den of filth.

Just like Matt, NBC and all the leftist media have a closet full of evil, perversion, abuse, cheating, lying, and stealing. The two morning ladies faked being shocked about the book's revelations as if they didn't already know. They know how foul their employer is; they need to stop faking.

Do you know who is good friends with Ronan? Megyn Kelly. Just let that sink in for a moment.

NBC has always been the alpha dog in the pack of TV news broadcasting. They hire mediocre people and pay them well to spew whatever the honchos want ... aka, talking points. The NYT is the other component on the print media side a we;; known pro leftist and communist sympathizing rag for decades. I hope to see both of their demise.

As a former NBC worker (contract, not staff) I tried to do an expose of the cocaine dealers who serviced NBC. The SNL staff were the best customers and the news Dept., where I worked were the second best. Story spiked. RIP Jessica Savitch.

When multi-million dollar salaries are at risk, people tend to push morals, good sense and integrity under the rug. Harvey Weinstein could make or break your life so it's no wonder they were eager to spend some time on the couch with him.

I know this is a common feeling here, but unless one of the networks hits the news for something, I wouldn't even know they were still in business.

Suffice to say NBC's zipper problem is not limited to NBC or its executives. This lewd and criminal behavior is rampant in today's working and political environment. And you also wonder why things are so screwed up in DC. First question in any meeting is who turn is it to sleep with whom tonight?

I bet many women slept with Matt to climb the food chain. Matt was not a looker, he looks like an ant eater. This woman who got him fired I don't believe her. He broke up with her she got mad and turned on him. If he raped her why did she continue to have sex with him?

For Corp suits there are 2 options.
Cover up for the $$$ makers & hope it doesn't come out on your watch.
Or follow a no tolerance policy & let the chips fall where they may.
Only those who own a business & believe in Option 2 can enforce it.
As most suits are craven hypocrites option 1 is a given.
