Senator Mitt Romney (U-Self), the former presidential candidate of ‘lightly held stances’, while holding a personal financial interest in status-quo China, once again puts himself on the outside of the electorate. Apparently President Trump has had enough: (Tweets)Mitt “pompous ass” Romney, is exactly correct.

One of the reasons that the GOP is finished post-Trump. A lot of us have learned that we were being played for saps for decades by the GOPe, including by 41 / 43. We're not coming back

Many of us in Utah have had enough of pompous-ass-Mitt as well! (I'll bet Mitt is very concerned that the president said 'ass'!)

Cofer Black, one of Romney's top advisors, was on the board of Burisma after Biden's son. Any wonder why he wants to take shots at Impeachment? Pelosi's family had some affiliation as well. They're all involved in corruption somewhere, somehow. The swamp might see some activity soon! I believe this is why a bunch of Republican long-time legislators have retired. They see it coming!

At a minimum Romney should be asked switch parties, at least to Independent. He's no good to us on our side. Then maybe the people of Utah will wake up to what a jackass this guy is.

I do not understand how a man can be so successful in business, and be such a backstabbing, cowardly loser in politics.

I am sickened to think that many years ago I thought Romney might have been a good choice. Forgive me, please.

Mitt Romney is a snake in a suit. Someone without shame who thinks he can talk his way out of anything. Why else would he beg Trump for a cabinet post mere months after he denounced Trump in a vicious, personal attack in an attempt to prevent Trump from getting the Republican nomination? A decent person would have been ashamed and kept their distance, but not old Mitt. He was right there, not asking for a small favor, but begging for one of the prime cabinet posts, as if the past speech had never happened.

I send money to Trump, I send NO money to "the Republicans". Both my Senators are worthless Repubs, one is retiring, and I hope Kris Kobach can take his seat. The other one needs to be replaced, too.

I guess it is okay for Mitt Romney to believe that an inquiry into impeachment is okay when it is about Donald Trump but any behavior in relationship to himself is off limits. Pompous.

The Tampa Bay fish wrap describes this as a “crude attack” on Romney. Mitt is the new McCain lite, a similar loser who was afraid of being d a racist if they opposed Obama, so they both rolled over.

#8 - I didn't consider Romney to be a good choice. He was running against Obama so he was the only choice. I wished for a better candidate but one wasn't offered to us.

When Romney/Ryan ran for Office, I held my nose and voted for them because they were the only Candidates put up by the Republican Elites. And, it was obvious that Obama was going to try to destroy this country. The Republican Elites sell out this country for making money while destroying American Jobs. Everyone witnessed this all around the Country. President Trump truly loves this Country and is trying to save it.
Just pray the Democrats never get power, and that we can replace the Republican Elites and Rinos gradually while we keep them in check.

One thing is for sure, taking cheap shots at the President, covertly colluding with the leftist and liberal Democrats to impeach the President, and voting in the Senate to remove the President from office thus undoing the 2016 election are not factors that will benefit Mitt Romney in his obvious future try to again snag the Republican Presidential nomination next year. Clearly Trump supporters make up a big majority of the Republicans who actually vote, and common sense will tell you that they are not about to vote for the wimpy Romney. Without their votes Romney and other wimpy Republican Senators will crash and burn both in the Republican primary elections and the 2020 general election.
