On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Situation Room,” Representative Gerry Connolly (D-VA) stated that Attorney General William Barr should resign.
Connolly said, “I think the attorney general needs to resign. He is no longer even pretending to be objective in the meting out of justice in the United States. He is nothing but a private investigator and attorney for Donald J. Trump, and that’s not his constitutional role.”
He's doing exactly what President Trump promised but never got going with his last useless AG. Drain the swamp. And that scares the pants off the dems.

This is nothing more than a preemptive strike before the reports of democrat and deep state malfeasance is exposed. Expect the scum MSM to follow suit.

Something's gotta give soon. The Dems are in desperation Hail-Mary mode with the IG/Huber/Durham reports coming out, I can't wait to see the list of recommended indictments.

He didn't say that about the AG who was Obama's wingman...

Holder was Obama's "Wingman", not the AG of the United States.

Objective means finding and doing things that the democrats want.

Okay. Just as soon as your blackface wearing Gov and rapist Lt Gov do the same.

Important point: the Attorney General does not have a "constitutional role". The office was created by an Act of Congress, not by an Article of the Constitution, which makes the Attorney General a subordinate of the President.

Guess again ..Your not dealing with the deep state spy Sessions now. The corrupt traitorous Dems had better get ready. As Obama's handler Val Jar said after his last election. "Hell will be released" I can't wait.

The Atorney General, like all Federal officers down to the lowest grade, take an oath to support and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign AND DOMESTIC, and to bear true faith and allegiance to the same.
The man is apparently doing his duty in that regard. Congress should follow his lead and do its sworn duty.

He is wasting his time and is interfering with ongoing legitimate Department of Justice investigation, he might as well have called for the entire Trump Administration to resign, so Nancy Pelosi would be installed as President, none of that is going to happen.

Dyspeptic little Connolly. Always kvetching about something on the Republican side. I’d been hoping he’d resign or simply evaporate.

#3 nails it. This sudden push by Democrats for Barr to recuse himself or resign is their attempt to discredit him before the Durham investigation is completed. Fat chance losers.

This Attorney General is a serious man with over 50 years of experience in Justice and the CIA. His May interview by CBS's Jan Crawford is worth another look: "WILLIAM BARR: ...I think one of the ironies today is that people are saying that it's President Trump that's shredding our institutions. I really see no evidence of that, it is hard, and I really haven't seen bill of particulars as to how that's being done. From my perspective the idea of resisting a democratically elected president and basically throwing everything at him and you know, really changing the norms on the grounds that we have to stop this president, that is where the shredding of our norms and our institutions is occurring.
JAN CRAWFORD: And you think that happened even with the investigation into the campaign, potentially?
WILLIAM BARR: I am concerned about that.

First, they stated they were going to be investigating the origins of the Russian collusion story, in front of Congress.
Second, sounds like Rep. Connolly is trying to interfere with the investigation, possibly obstruct the investigation.
Third, I suspect people are starting to hear the whispers that they are finding real hard evidence, and it won't be good for some, so they need to question his objectivity in an effort to discredit the findings.

Waaaa!!!! AG Barr is scaring us, make him stop!!! Waaaa!!!
I suspect Barr is so close to exposing and indicting a number of people, that of course they want him to resign. Can't have him indicting criminals.

I demand Gerry Connolly resign. The man is too ugly to appear on tv, and too enraged and stupid to bear listening to. Add that he is corrupt, and that should be enough to frog march Connolly to the exit, and lock the door behind him.
