A highly qualified and experienced climate modeler with impeccable credentials has rejected the unscientific bases of the doom-mongering over a purported climate crisis. His work has not yet been picked up in this country, but that is about to change, Writing in the Australian site Quadrant, Tony Thomas introduces the English-Speaking world to the truth-telling of Dr. Mototaka Nakamura (snip) In June he put out a small book in Japanese on “the sorry state of climate science”. It’s titled Confessions of a climate scientist: the global warming hypothesis is an unproven hypothesis, and he is very much qualified to take a stand.

Here is a tip for every dumb kid that wants to natter their parents ears off about climate doomsday. Kiddo, get your drivers license and cut it up!! Inform them that you will do the same and from now on you will all be walking!!! This should be especially effective in the 'burbs' and rural areas. School buses should be stopped because the Swedish meat ball will set an example of walking, not taking cabs and being driven around in NYC. No more flying anywhere unless you are Al Bore and have a private guzzler like all other gazillionaires. You get the drift!!!

I think most people understand that the climate crisis is all about money and government power. The proponents cultivate a following of believers, who become so invested that they ignore revelations of model tampering, data manipulation, and the political aspects driving the issue. They no longer accept facts, only the ''truth'' as Biden put it.

I've been hearing that we have 10 years left on Earth for 35 plus years now. I still remember before Global Warming we had Global Cooling. Let's start by raising the age to 21 to get a drivers license. And while we're at it all kids have to wear hand-me-downs until they're 21 too. Let's get them into recycling. And no hamburgers or shakes. Dairy comes from cows and they fart. And no spring break traveling this next year.

I work with a guy who believes in MMGW. I asked him about the expansion of the Arctic Ice Shelf and the increase in population of polar bears. He countered with the bears roaming in Southern Alaska because of a lack of habitat above the Arctic Circle. Well, I told him, it sure seems like those bears had to swim a long way doesn't it! Or maybe its because their pop has exploded from 10,000 to 28,000. If they were running out of habitat there should be LESS, wouldn't there? I asked him. His reply was a blank stare.

OH DEAR! What will Geta do now? Will Hollyweird insist we follow the lead of a disturbed and angry young girl over an actual, accomplished scientist?
"Every orthodox climate researcher takes such output from the modellers’ black boxes as a given." Researchers START from the acceptance of man caused warming.
He is "accusing the orthodox scientists of “data falsification” by adjusting previous temperature data to increase apparent warming “The global surface mean temperature-change data no longer have any scientific value and are nothing except a propaganda tool to the public,”" PROPAGANDA is the furthest thing possible from science.
"makes these models totally useless for any meaningful climate prediction." Hey! You too can buy into globull warming for only a few trillion dollars and a complete sacrifice of modern society.
THIS is a killer: Climate forecasting is simply impossible, if only because future changes in solar energy output are unknowable. As to the impacts of human-caused CO2, they can’t be judged “with the knowledge and technology we currently possess.” It states that not only is the current analysis a fraud, which any REAL scientist would be forced to admit, but it is IMPOSSIBLE, at this time, to make it any better.
Of course, this makes no real difference because "warming" is a political and power issue, no longer a scientific one. The Alarmists have far too much invested (power and control, money, careers and reputations) to let this drop. Even the pseudo purpose of transferring money from rich to poor nations is a ruse. Alarmist leaders want control, of everything. Some are deluded enough to belief it is for a "higher purpose" but many know it's a fraud and THEY are after raw power.
It is VERY troubling that world leaders are pursuing this path and bamboozling their people over the fake dangers and that MANY are falling for it.

I spent a 40+ year career doing computer modeling of very complex electrical, mechanical, thermal and hybrid systems, ending my career working with 4 of the largest supercomputers available. I know computer simulation as a technology, very well.
FTA, he says it very well:
"… The real or realistically-simulated climate system is far more complex than an absurdly simple system simulated by the toys that have been used for climate predictions to date, and will be insurmountably difficult for those naïve climate researchers who have zero or very limited understanding of geophysical fluid dynamics. I understand geophysical fluid dynamics just a little, but enough to realize that the dynamics of the atmosphere and oceans are absolutely critical facets of the climate system if one hopes to ever make any meaningful prediction of climate variation."
The computer models have always been ridiculously oversimplified, and pathetically over coarse. Huge swaths of important inputs and outputs are not even present in the model, totally ignored, and as this climate modeler says, the solar variation (IMO the BIGGEST variable input of all) is entirely ignored, set as a fixed value, when we KNOW it varies, but we have no idea HOW it will vary in the future, or has varied in the past.
This is a huge deal. And it backs up everything I have said repeatedly for decades. The "climate models" are total jokes as predictive tools. Crude, incomplete, pathetically coarse, and entirely uncalibrated.
Useless, except for political hammers to chip away at our freedoms, and push for totalitarian centrally planned tyranny.

In addition to the use of the fraudulent models where real data are available, the real data are also corrupt. Many measurements are taken where the surrounding thermal capacitance has changed dramatically. Put a big heat sink next to the thermocouple and say the magic words and presto we have warming.
They have been caught red handed in multiple ways on multiple occasions yet on they march with no shame.
And as a side note observation of the left; isn't odd that their little girls speak like professors and their professors speak like little girls.

Keep it simple. CO2, even in its "alarming" elevated rate, comprises 0.04% of all the gases in the atmosphere.
With the complexity of a huge open ended system with numerous known (and unknown) elements, you will never convince me that CO2 in and of itself has so much power as to cause catastrophic warming.

Correct op. Global cooling was the rage during the 70's. How did that turn out? Delingpole had a couple of questions that should be asked of every anthropogenic global warming freak, to wit: How much has the earth warmed over the past 20 years? Answer: 0.3 degrees centigrade. How many polar bears were there in 1960? Answer: about 12000. How many polar bears are there today: Answer: 28000. You get the idea.

It is easy to play the public because the public is so ignorant, in general. CO2 as a greenhouse gas is pretty well known, but so is water vapor, methane, etc. I have done modelling and it is always tempting to tweak multipliers to get the model to fit some segment of data. That isn't science which becomes obvious when the predictions of the tweaked model don't match future segments of data.
It isn't true that we don't know about future solar output. There are some good studies of solar cycles, orbit wobbles, etc. that match some past temperature swings. These cycles point to a significant cooling period over the next decades.

The excerpt of Dr. Nakamura's remarks made far more sense than the truncated graphs with varying start dates put out recently by the national assessment on climate (or whomever they were) which was widely reported and repeated by policy makers and the press.

I, for one, welcome Climate Change. If it weren't for climate change I'd have dinosaurs in my yard and instead of alley cats I'd have to deal with saber toothed tigers. Where I live in the Atlanta, GA area we have had the hottest September on record. Yea. The only time I ever want to see ice again is in a drink. Admire this climate researcher. But he'll get the treatment from the climate goon squad that Galileo got from the church.

#6. If I were a family member of Greta's, I would be worrying about her "untimely death".. from a plane crash or an auto accident.. something like that could be staged so that everything could done in her memory. She's way too young and vulnerable to be used by the global warming rabble who want to profit and control at the same time. May God protect her!
