You were too young to vote for Jack or Bobby, but you always heard about them from your parents or grandparents. You’ve voted for Democrats your entire life, even though you haven’t always loved every nominee. In your eyes, they are the party of the little guy, standing up to make sure he gets a fair deal and his kids aren’t sent off to fight in some pointless war overseas. Bosses, big corporations, insurance companies — they’ll all screw you if they get the chance. Government isn’t perfect, but it’s the one force that is supposed to be looking out for you; it’s the one institution

Totally, a vacuous column and not worth reading.

I disagree. Geraghty is a master of a satirical slant.

What #1 said. I skimmed it and this is most vacuous. Move on.

No. He was talking about the mind of a Biden voter. I understood where he was coming from. He was talking about how and why they respect him. The same reasons I respect President Trump and overlook his foibles.
It was very interesting. I don’t agree the least bit, but I understand them.
Guess it comes from being raised by Roosevelt and Kennedy loving Democrat’s. I loved my parents very much but by the time I was 20 my world view was different than theirs.

A related story. Inside the mind of Democrat voters. We were at a Clearwater, FL. coffee shop for breakfast yesterday. At a table next to us a group of retired New Yorkers discussing Elizabeth Warren were saying how far she's come and how well she's been doing. They were serious! Not one word about how she lied her way into Harvard or took the place of an honest student who deserved to be there. They must have been CNN viewers.

Geraghty actually shows the mindlessness of the typical Dem. Or is it stupidity? Hr doesn't say anything most of us weren't already aware of.

I understand the point but I can not relate to anybody having an attitude like that past the age of thirty. My father was a Teamster truck driver so he and my mother voted democrat because they were coerced by the union and by fellow workers. When I registered Republican in my twenties he turned up his nose but he could not offer a logical counter-argument other than Republicans were for the rich and Democrats were for the working man. Both parties have changed and become the Uniparty, out for themselves, but the Republicans are the lesser of the evils. I do not consider Donald Trump a real Republican, he is one heck of a smart Conservative but one of a kind.

That may be the mind of a Biden supporter, but it's only about 1/3 of the Democrat party. You no longer have young, working-class people providing fresh blood. Now its whiny, aggrieved, and radicalized voting blocs that have all kinds of kooky demands (like outlawing the internal combustion engine).

My parents were both Republicans but my mother liked John Kennedy "because he had good hair" (how about that for a woman's political mind). I was drafted in the Army and at nineteen coming from the hotbed of the college scene saw first hand where the country was divided. I was a Republican and separated from the liberals even friends because of their politics the nation is now jelled and divided along those lines and I'm not into wasting my time trying to get into the minds of democrat voters just like I wasn't into understanding the low IQ idiot mind of Obama.

I am left confused. Was he parodying the typical Liberal voter or offering an explanation for their support for the Democrat candidate of their choice? All in all it was a rather senseless article with a few clever lines thrown in here and there.

What I see in the mind of a Biden voter is fear. They want things they know and as they were. They are afraid to face changes and the reality that the dem party they grew up with is no longer there. Also, that the government that they think will protect and advocate for them is no longer reliable.
Of course that is really bad news for dems if Biden doesn't win because, despite what this article says, more traditional dem voters are NOT seeing the Leftist candidates favorably. They are too "out there". On the other hand, hard Left voters see Biden as a joke. Their party is split and it is NOT likely to come together.
However, a lot of traditional dems are looking at Trump favorably. They have jobs and financial improvements. The Country is secure. Trump stands for a lot of traditional things. The article brings up fears they might have of Trump but they are lies. It depends on how closed minded the traditional dem voter is. If they are a "vote dem no matter what" voter. It won't make any difference.

DemoDopes gave eight years to Clinton, a convicted felon. Then they gave eight years to Obama, certainly the greatest fraud in political history. They now can choose from a pool of fools. Run for the hills, folks, it is just about over!!!

The mind of the Biden voter sees an array of highly undesirable candidates, of which he is the least undesirable. The unsettling questions they have are, would he be a "puppet President" and, if so, who would be pulling his strings?

You would be surprised how many so-called "Yankees" fled south due to the fact that there was no saving the Northeast Dem takeover. I left Maine when LePage was term-limited out and the Rank Choice voting forced out my Republican Rep.
I now like in a 50+ community in Central Florida that has its polling place. I don't think you could give away a Dem ballot here.

Inside the mind of the Biden voter? Many of them are thinking of voting for Trump if they can think at all. Some Democrats can still think.
Biden is a few cards short of a full deck. The rest are pandering to women, minorities, gays, Commies, and fringe nuts. No real choices for the thinking Democrat.
Fertile ground for Trump.
