Beto O’Rourke launched an expletive-fueled defense of his call Sunday to ban assault-style weapons and impose mandatory buybacks of AR-15s and AK-47s while also pushing back at critics -- including fellow 2020 Democrat Pete Buttigieg. During last Thursday’s presidential debate, the former Texas congressman said, “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47, and we’re not going to allow it to be used against your fellow Americans anymore.” Three days later, O’Rourke appeared on NBC News’ “Meet the Press,” where host Chuck Todd pointed out that there was “a lot of hand-wringing” about the presidential contender’s full-throated call on national TV for confiscating such rifles.

The term "mandatory buyback" means they will CONFISCATE your property by "buying" it for whatever they want to pay. By some convoluted logic they want to use 5th Amendment "eminent domain" to take YOUR PROPERTY for the 'pubic good', and citizens would have no right to protest such an action because they PAID you to take your stuff! Beavis O'Dork is the messenger, and now suddenly ALL OF THE DEMONRAT CANDIDATES are behind it rather than to disagree with him. Beta is a sacrificial lamb who has NO CHANCE to win the nomination, and this OUTRAGEOUS NONSENSE is being floated out there like OPEN BORDERS was in a previous 'debate". If Robert Francis had been saying these kinds of things during his Texas senate race with Senator Cruz, he would have lost by a wide margin-- Every time he opens his mouth seeking attention, he is like the obnoxious kid pitching a fit at the checkout for candy... those who give it just make him more of a spoiled BRAT!

The constant use of expletives is a sure sign of someone with low intelligence, a small vocabulary and an adolescent mind. Butto needs to have his mouth washed out with soap, to be paddled and to be sent to sit in the corner for the next 14 months.

I think the most telling aspect of Beto's "confiscation" admission is that not one of those morons on stage challenged him. In essence they all agreed ,but are only questioning the "call" because it exposed their agenda. Make no mistake, the dems would confiscate every gun in America if they could get away with it..

Could they do anything more to help sales? The NRA should be making secret contributions to their campaigns so they can stay in until the convention. PS: The Founding Fathers intended to keep an armed citizenry for the purpose of the Final Check on the possible return of some king --- just in case everything else failed. The crazy thing is that they went along with it and cooperated. But then there are only a few million people so it is easier for government to keep track. Here? Too many people, too many guns and too many (almost all) unwilling to cooperate.

Former Vice President Joe Biden has a plan for gun control. It certainly isn't the most radical plan out there. He wants to expand the list of crimes for which convicts can be deprived of their gun rights to include misdemeanor hate crimes. He also wants to create a new voluntary gun purchase program. (Such programs are often mistakenly referred to as "buy-backs," but that syntax falsely implies that the government ever owned any of the guns in the first place.) These programs are usually a harmless waste of money so long as they remain voluntary. But they are a waste. Most importantly, Biden wants to create a national gun registry.
