Is Dianne Feinstein out to kill off
Kamala Harris's presidential bid?

Original Article

Kamala Harris has always been known for her lean and hungry, pushy, grabby, ambition, which includes a willingness to sleep her way to the top to get what she wants. Her political start began as a social mountaineer with San Francisco's old-money Pacific Heights set dating from her 20s and then just moved onward and upward. That's not sitting well with California's lizardy old-money senior Senator, Dianne Feinstein, who knows that establishment well. And so, she's taking some action, as Fox News reports: According to reports, Feinstein, the senior senator from the Golden State, will throw a fundraiser next month

I guess I'll just enjoy the show. We got -- Hillary Clinton, the ex-wife who won't go away. Kamala Harris, the ex-girlfriend who won't go away. Elizabeth Warren, the ex-mother-in-law who won't go away. And Dianne Feinstein, the crazy old aunt who won't go away.

It took Di-Fi years to work her way up to Senator. It only took Kamalala a few nights. The resentment is real.

I'm no fan of Feinstein, but if she can derail Kamala, I'll give her a thumbs up, but thank God I can't vote for her.

Illinois clearly is the pioneer in the not-yet-existent deceased rights movement, which I have heard is having trouble with turnout for its rallies. But if the dead ever do rise from their graves in a zombie apocalypse, as so often dramatized on cable television, they will no doubt demand that other states follow the lead of Illinois. They're not dead, they're a constituency: Illinois Policy reveals that the state has spent $4.6 million on Medicaid for dead people:
Saturday Schadenfreude: Julian Castro's
debate act cost him a third of his voters

Here's something we can agree with the Democratic Party base on: Presidential candidate Julian Castro is loathesome. According to Nate Silver's outfit, Five Thirty Eight, Castro was the big loser of the third Democratic debate, based on his sneakily age-ist and downright dishonest attack on Joe Biden. Castro lost big points on favorability and the willingness of even left-wing voters to vote for him, according to Five Thirty Eight: So after Ipsos polled voters before and after the debate, we calculated the change in candidates’ net favorability (favorable rating minus unfavorable rating).

Democratic debates are always contests to determine which candidate is the most contemptible. Based on his dishonest behavior in debate three, you could argue that Julian Castro, way down at the bottom end of the debate stage, took that 'honor.' According to an excellent, level-headed analysis by Aaron Blake in the Washington Post: The former Housing and Urban Development secretary clearly came ready to go at this debate, and he went hard at Biden. But his biggest optical win didn’t have substance to back it up. He accused Biden of saying his plan would not automatically enroll people in his public health care option. When Biden denied it, Castro was apoplectic.

From the first minute of last night’s truly intolerable Democratic debate, a candidate for the world’s most powerful office started things rolling downhill with a startling assertion about last month’s horrific shootings in El Paso: “22 people were killed, dozens more grievously injured by a man … inspired to kill by our president.” (Emphasis added) Later in the same debate, a sitting U.S. Senator from the nation’s largest state added the following over-the-top observation about these vile murders: “People asked me … ‘do you think Trump is responsible for what happened?’ And I said, ‘Well, look, I mean, obviously, he didn’t pull the trigger. But he’s certainly been tweeting out the ammunition.’”

Most Americans aren't in for holding people responsible for the misdeeds of their ancestors, but Elizabeth Warren is just a little different. Here's the latest on her getting-famous ancestors from Breitbart News: Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) great-great-great grandfather Jonathan Crawford served in Major William Lauderdale’s Battalion of Tennessee Volunteer Militia from November 1837 to May 1838, a six month time period during which it fought two battles in Florida against the Seminoles. Today, there are two federally recognized Native American Seminole tribes, the Seminole Tribe of Florida,

What it takes to survive for long in the Trump White House would fill a tome that may command a seven-figure advance for whoever ends up being qualified to write it. But whatever now-ex National Security Adviser John Bolton ends up writing might solve an even more perplexing mystery: What is really at the heart of this president’s foreign policy? It cannot be denied that Donald Trump is a hawk, despite his rhetoric sometimes indicating otherwise. He backed large increases in Pentagon spending during his first two years and this year focused on out-maneuvering the Democrats’ majority in the House on federal budget caps to get another increase for fiscal 2020,

A couple weeks ago, a medical fellow at Emory University posted a tweet after three patients came in with Groupon coupons for chest CT scans. In the space of one Twitter post, she goes from shock that anyone would use a coupon for a medical test, to realizing the patients got a really good deal, and that the cost was likely less than it would have been had they used insurance. Then she concludes by saying, “US healthcare is bonkers.” Bonkers is right. But not for the reason Dr. Nicole Herbst probably thinks. What’s bonkers about the nation’s health care system isn’t that some people are using coupons for medical tests.

Probably the worst character among them was Weinstein's famous feminist attorney Lisa Bloom, who up until that point, had been a much-celebrated defender

The new post-Mueller media narrative is “weariness” and “exhaustion” with President Trump’s tweets, his cul de sac Sharpie controversy, his ideas about buying Greenland, his unorthodox art-of-the-deal foreign policy that resulted in a plan to talk to Taliban leaders in the United States, and his firing of arch-conservative John Bolton. The Drudge Report, once a go-to site for Trumpism, now seems unapologetically anti-Trump, in its often trademark snarky style. Are Trump supporters then weary? Psychology is a "science" that studies human behavior but is itself morally bankrupt. That is, psychology is unable to scientifically define normality. It can't. "Normal" depends on what the society (through "norms") or the patient views as morally correct. This limitation of psychological study is apparent when addressing transgenderism, until recently labeled a mental illness ("gender dysphoria") by psychology. Modern textbooks on transgender (and other paraphilic) disorders observe that they arise from "adverse childhood experiences" (ACEs): "Any event sufficiently stressful to threaten a fragile ego" (Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, 8th edition, Mary C. Townsend, 2015, p. 615). But here we face a conundrum:
