Mayor Pete Buttigieg ought to crack open the Bible, turn to Psalm 139, and read how God formed humans “fearfully and wonderfully” — and after, take a second look at his views on abortion and repent, said his brother-in-law, Rhyan Glezman, an evangelical pastor from Michigan, on Fox News.
Good advice. It is a curiosity how a self-declaring Christian can still stand strong on the side of abortion rights.
This is what Buttigieg said a few days ago on a “Breakfast Club” radio interview: “Right now, [conservatives] hold everybody in line with this one piece of doctrine about abortion, which is obviously a tough issue

One thing God does want from us? Not to be of this earth but of Him. We are to live in His ways not earthly ways. Abortion falls into the category of earthly ways. So does drunkenness, drugs, sexual immorality, gluttony, violence (anger), corruption etc., etc.
When God and the Bible (his Word) is taken out of society, people start living in earthly ways. Instead of calling on God, government is substituted. Instead of calling on God, people turn to whatever works for them. In the end, it usually does not.
Maybe Democrats and liberals need to open the Bible and read before advising the public?

He’s no different than “devout” Catholics Pelosi, Kerry, Biden, Cuomo, any of the Kennedys, Mikulski, Sotomayor, or any other leftist Catholics in government.

Buttigieg is a sanctimonious and very liberal Christian. His brand of Christianity has a tenuous grip in orthodox Christianity.

Like Romney and McCain self proclaiming their conservative beliefs, if you have to say it, you are not. Christians follow the Bible, they do not twist it into pretzels for their own personal gain. As to why we discuss and post things like this, it is a good thing to stomp on those who lie about God whenever we can. It grows like weeds in a flower garden if you don't do some maintenance clean up. That is why it is important. You never know who is watching, or who might get the wrong impression.

2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
When you interpret the Bible liberally, you get a Pete Buttigieg. When you interpret the Constitution liberally, you get Anarchy.

I once heard someone in a public forum ask Ken Kesey (of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest") (of all people) when did he think "life" begins, and he answered "When did the Lord become incarnate?" Blew me away.
And then he went on, "But from a secular point of view, these 'choice' people, they claim they don't know when life begins, but they sure know how to end it. If that being in your womb wasn't alive, you wouldn't be looking it kill it."
Everybody, even a little child, would know that. As Benjamin Franklin said, "We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid."

A hopelessly degenerate pervert of homosexual perversion is trying to lecture Christians on what the Bible says. There's almost a ring of "Anti-Christ" to this. Perhaps he's showing us how this will take place during the first half of the Tribulation when the false Prophet will lure mankind into a universal religion?
A woman, any woman, who engages in irresponsible sexual liaisons, resulting in pregnancy, does not get to claim the "victim-card" assuming the right to abortion. That is a 100% irresponsible act on her part. In fact Scripture is very much against sex outside of marriage with penalties for fornication and especially adultery being quite harsh... like death by stoning.

A person may not need the Bible to tell them that killing a baby is wrong but I have one additional comment. The Bible will tell you how much of a blessing a life is - child or adult.

FTA: “Then again, there’s a lot of parts of the Bible that talk about how life begins with breath. So even that is something we can interpret differently.”
Sounds like the mayor has been reading the Quran rather than the Bible. The Quran (21:91) teaches that Allah “breathed” into Mary’s womb from his spirit and created the baby Jesus, who would be a great prophet (but not the Son of God).

This (for the simple reason that I cannot think of another good place to put this) is an open letter to those souls whose deep sensibilities cry out for a Pete Whatever the Bleep His Name Is presidency. I'd like to ask you folks to think of all the reasons that Pistol Pete would be a good president. Write them down in a column on some loose leaf paper (yea, that's right, I'm a world class Luddite). OK now, make a column on the same side of the paper. Now study them, Imagine that Pete Whatever the Bleep His Name Is is sitting next to you (Pete promises not to grope you when you aren't looking). OK. How do you think the campaign will go when Pete Whatever the Bleep His Name Is starts his public speaking tour? All right, I'll stop now.

Peter Buttigieg does not know or chooses to ignore that:
Scripture is the inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21).
Life begins at conception: Psalm 139:13-16, Job 31:15, Isaiah 44:2, Jeremiah 1:5, Galatians 1:15.
God know us before we are born: Ishmael Genesis 6:11; Isaac Genesis 17:19; Solomon 1 Chronicles 22:9-10; Josiah 1 Kings 13:2; Cyrus Isaiah 44:28; John (Baptist) Luke 1:13; JESUS Matthew 1:21

Abortion is murder and judgment rendered accordingly: Genesis 9:6, Exodus 21:22-25, Proverbs 6:16-17 -- “Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image. (Genesis 9:6) – Exodus 21:22 is considered the “first fetal homicide law the child harmed during a separate assault...the passage distinguishes between the baby who survives the assault and the baby who dies...the punishment is life for life.” (Exodus 21:22-25) -- For women who have had abortions, and truly repent, there is forgiveness; God is love, God knows our hearts. Jesus forgave a woman who committed adultery, telling her, “...go, and from now on sin no more.”(John 8:11) That same forgiveness is to be found through heartfelt repentance and the gift of Holy Communion—partake of the Holy Sacrament and go, and sin no more.

This idiot, mayor of South Bend-over, Indiana is in no position to give a moral lesson to anyone else as he clearly is having a problem getting a handle on his own morals. In the great & immortal words of Anita Bryant (which cost her her career): "God didn't create Adam and Bruce!"
The biblical admonition "what God has joined together, let no man pull asunder" actually doesn't refer to just the marriage. It refers also to the baby itself. The two parts, therefore, are joined together by God at the time and place of His choosing. Once created by this joining, the baby is "alive" and belongs to Him, not mom and/or pop. They are just His chosen caretakers.
I believe one of the biggest mistakes we humans make is foolishly believing we are bodies with a soul. Not really. You have always been an immortal soul ... alive in God's heart and mind from when time began ... and you are temporarily trapped in a mere human body for, at the most, 122 years --- give or take. After that, your (always) immortal soul is released from its temporary mortal prison and re-united again with God --- if you pleased Him with your life.
To deliberately snuff out the candle of a baby's soul --- lit at conception --- is to deprive him/her of their chance to please The Master with a life. And, in my opinion, He is not at all pleased that was done! Don't pull apart what He has joined!
