How’s $10,000 sound? All you need to do is move to Vermont. The picturesque but sparsely populated state made headlines last year when officials OK’d plans to reimburse new residents up to $5,000 each year for two years for moving costs and those associated with working remotely -- computers, Internet access and membership in a co-working space. The plan to draw younger workers to Vermont has apparently worked. The Remote Worker Grant Program received thousands of inquiries and ran out of its first $125,000 -- which officials anticipated would last through June -- by April, Route Fifty reported. The state still has another $375,000 set aside

How much will they pay me to move OUT of this hellhole? Not a dime, I am sure but, I would gladly bear the cost to leave. On the upside, just attended the largest fair in the state yesterday and found THREE different booths supporting the President!! I never saw the one for Bernie but my sister tells me there was no one around it. Maybe there is still hope for Vermont. Maybe, but I doubt it

I'd do it just to vote against Bernie but they'd take their 10k back in income tax in the first year.

I remember when Vermont was a nice place. Mostly rural and conservative. This was back in the sixties, but then the liberals found it and started to move there. And they brought their leftist ways. (Who else would rave over a run-of-the-mill ice cream and call it superior?) Eh-yup! Bring in a few more to vote, and make sure all them college perfessers was far left, and they soon ruled the gooberment.

The biggest problem with Vermont is the Vermonters. They are apparently lunatic, unhinged leftists. You couldn't pay me enough to live there. Even $1 million would be turned down.

The progressive left scoffs at the notion they are engaged in a war on straight white men, but that doesn’t prevent them from singling out the demographic on a regular basis for vile attacks.According to the perpetually aggrieved left’s critical race theory, all white people are inherently racist, but they reserved their strongest ire for white males as they push a myth of white privilege while denouncing patriarchy.Lost in the week’s news was a Sunday segment of MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” where host Joy Reid compared what she sees as benign coverage of President Donald Trump to how Adolf Hitler was treated leading up to World War Two.

A federal appeals court has ruled that the state of Idaho must pay for a transgender inmates’ sex reassignment surgery. Inmate Adree Edmo, a convicted sex offender, was diagnosed with gender dysmorphia in 2012. His attorney, Deborah Ferguson, argued in January that the state was placing him at risk of suicide if they refused to fund his surgery. “They certainly would treat a prisoner with cancer, they treat a prisoner with diabetes, or other chronic conditions,” Ferguson said, according to local CBS affiliate KBOI-TV. “So, we have a medically recognized condition that’s very treatable and we have been trying to get her the treatment that she very much needs.”
