Council Bluffs, Iowa—Democratic voters here love Mayor Pete, but they may be penalizing him because he’s gay. It’s not that they hold it against Pete Buttigieg, mayor of South Bend, Indiana, but they fear the rest of the country may not be ready for a 37-year-old, married, openly gay man to sit in the White House, so they are reluctant to help him win the party’s presidential nomination. “Pete Buttigieg is interesting to me, but, honestly, he is probably not electable, and the last thing I want is Donald Trump in office,” said David Cline. “I do believe his sexuality is an issue for folks, which is too bad.

Pete Buttigieg and this author, Seth Mclaughlin are both typical left wing bullies.
They are completely demanding, until they don't get their way. At which point, they become victims.
Poor them.

The writer sells voters short. I don't think a significant number of voters care that Buttigieg is gay. But many care a great deal that he cohabits with a male he calls his wife. And even more voters would be concerned that he can't even successfully operate a fairly small city, therefore cannot be trusted in the oval office.
I care that he looks like a Keebler elf.

I don't care about his sexuality. I care about the fact he thinks his stupid ideas would be great for America and the American people.

I evaluate whether he has done an excellent job in South Bend which he HAS NOT. The clip of him facing black voters was absolutely pathetic. Inexperienced, wrong on most issues, arrogant, shallow - that too.

Oprah has long ago been unmasked as being an ignorant and racist wretch. She gladly takes the money of white women to add to her bank account, but boy she sure has no respect for them at all. In this instance though, I can give her a sliver of agreement over Buttabing. He is not ever going to be presidential material. He barely is fit to be mayor. Anyone who attacks the majority of the country like he does with his attacks on Christians, is not fit for higher office. He wants to be president of the gaystapo, and that is where his thinking ends.

And the fact that he is an avowed Marxist has no bearing on this? Come on! Everything has to be about affirmative action / diversity / youngest. The guy's father is a commie, he's a commie. Not a country for commies, despite what the MSM / Democrap party says.

I have no problem with his orientation. What I have a problem with is that his entire platform is a non-starter. Tgen top it all of with his rational for running is based on his orientation.
Im sick of the identity politics.

Discerning voters select candidates based on their performance while holding a position of responsibility in either the private or public sector. Pete and the rest of the Dem candidates are better suited to be cast on a Reality Show than hold Public Office.

The only problem with Bootyjudge is that he is totally lame and unelectable. So with that in mind, I hope Dopey Joe picks him as his VP running loser.

I don't give a damn if he's gay or has a wife...or husband...or whatever they're calling the relationship. What I do care about, as well as millions of Americans, is that he is an economic illiterate like al the other rat candidates.

Lil pete is Mrs. Buttgiueg (or whatever). So, what is his sexual identity? Is he a "37-year-old, married, openly gay man"? Shouldn't he be straight with us?

He is a liberal socialist with no successful track record. For that reason he is unelectable. Crying victim over his gayness is irrelevant.

The problem is of Pete's own creation, he made his sexuality the primary issue of his campaign instead of choosing something important. Can I say "hoisted by his own peter" without getting into trouble?

Perhaps the fact that he has been a perfectly terrible mayor of a very small city might have something to do with the lack of support. That plus an ugly wife and an arrogance and dishonesty. Just not buying it Buttigieg.

Nope.
First of all, just being a Rhodes Scholar and graduating from Harvard disqualifies him. From what I've seen in recent decades, people educated at that institution are so alienated from reality and common sense that they cannot possibly serve as leaders. Secondly, in spite of a man's sexual orientation, it is hard to believe that anyone who is incapable of understanding the role of marriage and raising children in anchoring and strengthening society and honoring that institution is sufficiently wise to lead the nation. No, Pete does not have a 'husband', because the word is meaningless without a 'wife', and pretending otherwise is evidence of a major departure from the accumulated wisdom of previous generations.

Liberals seem to to be looking for excuses to prevent Mr Buttigieg from gaining traction. It's always "someone else's fault" that this candidate won't be widely accepted. The fakery is palpable.

Oprah Winfrey, 5/1/19, Washington Times: "I call Mayor Pete Buttigieg ‘Buttabeep, Buttaboop’." Is there a more fetid bunch of homophobic age-ists than the Democrat party, with their identity politics and litmus tests? Never mind that at least one of their front-runners is an obvious closeted homosexual with a hired "boo." And yet, the MSM never calls them to task, instead spreading lies about The Donald being mean.
