Say what you want about President Trump’s Twitter habits, he has a way of suddenly bringing an issue to the surface that people have long known about, but never wanted to confront. The only problem with his latest tweetstorm about Baltimore is that he hasn’t gone far enough.
On Friday, Trump attacked Democratic Rep. Elijah Cummings, who had been complaining about conditions at the border, by saying “his Baltimore district is FAR WORSE and more dangerous.” Trump called it “a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess.”
He’s right about the rats. Last year, the pest-control service Orkin rated Baltimore as one of the “rattiest cities,“

Most of the social problems we face today stem from poor family life. No one holds families accountable.

Throwing money at the problem never works either. It is human nature not to value something which has been given to you through no effort of your own. We place much higher value on things which we’ve had to work hard to earn. That’s why public housing areas are always slums - the people who live in those areas don’t value what they have been handed on a platter. It is also why anyone on welfare who is not truly disabled and over the age of 18 should be made to do some kind of work. They could start by cleaning up their own neighborhoods.

Democrats will never admit that their rat infested cities are failing because that would be admitting that their entire philosophy does not work. We are now watching a dozen or more of our once-great cities falling apart and according to the dems it's all good and the cities are still wonderful places to live. It will take complete breakdown, murdering gangs roaming around and diseases wiping out the population before they will see the problem and begin screaming for federal aid. When I travel around the country now I have to plan my route to avoid these places and the violent, sleazy, thieving people that inhabit them. A friend's son just graduated college and the family is ecstatic because he is moving to Chicago to begin a new job. I'm wondering how long that euphoria will last when he sees what the city has become.

Compassion coupled with low standards is a losing proposition. Even worse, coupled with NO standards, it's the Democrat Party.
That's how you get the racism of low expectations. Ergo Baltimore, San Francisco, rats, feces, needlies, etc. Oh, and millionaire socialists.

These are examples of democrat failures and time proven. This is why on a larger scale democrats should never run the nation. Before Elijah Cummings makes statements he should have considered that President Trump does not tolerate attacks or ignores them. In most instances many of the large failing cities are painted with 'black faces' why is that? Black mayors, black police and fire chiefs, all black city councils and black representatives in Washington you can see why these places will never heal or be great again. I have no feeling for these cities and only want to remain thousands of miles from them or will never visit any of the cesspools.

Breitbart satellite radio this morning was playing a clip (from Fox News weekend?) of a black woman republican who is from Baltimore and/or Maryland interviewing some of the residents of Rep Cummings district and one woman is recorded as saying Cummings hasn't done anything for them: no cookouts, no shoe give aways, etc. WTH? How much free stuff do these people think they are entitled to and why exactly? Oh, because you're black? Instead of waiting for someone to do the work for you, go out and pick up your own trash, etc.

So, naturally, NBC interviewed White people in Baltimore, to tell us what a wonderful city it is. There may be a rat problem, but they don't really know about it. They didn't go down to the ghetto and ask the Black folk, who might actually live among the rats. Probably even the police don't go down in to the Hood. I doubt if even Elijah Cummings goes walking around down there. He no doubt has a very expensive and clean home.

Baltimore is another one of those cities that is well on its way to being destroyed by Progressive politicians. The only thing "progressive" about Progressives is their talent for making things progressively worse! The Baltimore police have been treated like the enemy while the hoodlums have been allowed, and at times encouraged, to run wild by the city's elected officials. Elijah Cummings brings this Progressive mindset to the Congress.

Government corruption plagues the major cities in the U.S. They demand monies from taxpayers residing in said city, but that is not enough, so the citizens of the State and all the rest of the Country must be dunned for even more money. Where does all this money go, with little to show for it? In the pockets of Government Unions and corrupt politicians like Elijah Cummings, who never have to live life in the conditions forced upon their constituents.
Right now there are more entry level jobs available than people to fill them. My advice is to forsake your victimhood, flee the ghettos, and pursue the American Dream.

Liberal dem policies have been destructive to family life for decades and we now are subjected to the sad results throughout the country but most prevalent in major cities. The mainstream media is the dems' intimidating megaphone blasting their deceptive social propaganda 24/7.

Start working at home with Google! It's by-far the best job I've had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $77 per hour. I work through this link, go to home tab for more detail ... >>>> www.works7.com

I suspect that this is not directed at Baltimore at all, but merely drawing attention toward Cummings. His wife has received some questionable cash from the "nonprofit organization" that she controls named Center for Global Policy Solutions which is being looked into, and his district is a hot bed for human trafficking.

I lived in San Francisco in the 70s while I went to USF...I was last there two years ago...it's a completely different world now...Market Street and the downtown area is filthy with people harassing you for money...human feces and urine all over the place....trash and nasty odors...I would not take any of my out-of-state family or friends there...
