Clapper: Obama Ordered The Intelligence
Assessment That Resulted In Mueller

Original Article

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper revealed in an interview last week that if not for President Obama asking for an intelligence community assessment that "set off a whole sequence of events" we would not have the Mueller investigation. Clapper, a CNN contributor, said the effects of that intel assessment "are still unfolding today." "One point I'd like to make,(Snip) I'm alluding now to the President's criticism of President Obama for all that he did or didn't do before he left office with respect to the Russian meddling. If it weren't for President Obama, we might not have done the intelligence community assessment

Clapper could be planting this story much as Susan Rice wrote her inauguration day “memo to self” about their having done everything “by the book”. Used the so-called assessment of Russian threat to go after Donald J. Trump.

Let's just say for the record, if the Obama administration knew or suspected Russians were meddling in the election, why didn't they warn both campaigns? You know, sort of a 'be on the lookout for.' If there's a bad guy roaming your neighborhood the cops don't ignore it, they warn everyone to stay inside and to lock their doors and windows. Right?

More Bull Schiff from Clapper. Sure, Obama ordered an intelligence review, but he also declared the Russians had interfered in our elections in 2014 too, and that the 2016 interference did not change or alter the election. Rod Rosenstein also stated this clearly too. Notice they don't counter, or add-in, such details, but will criticize this president even when things are good, they will still point out some critique, or criticism?

The Obama administration began spying on Americans shortly after taking office in 2009. The spying evolved into political dirty tricks, including swaying the elections for Democrats through investigations, and leaks to the press. When Trump was elected, the Obama administration and the Deep State, that had done all the dirty work, knew Trump's appointees were going to discover all the wrongdoing, when they took the helm. To avoid discovery, Obama and the Deep State swept all the dirt into a Special Counsel investigation, to hide the documents of their corruption behind a methods and procedures, and national security shield, that they knew is almost impossible to penetrate. But it is hard to hide a theft, when all the furniture in the room has disappeared.

Talk about CYA! We all know that Clapper, Brennan, Comey and many, many more were in on the Coup. Maybe Obama was too, we may never find out as he's pretty well protected from investigation. I do think Barr, Horowitz and Durham are going to poke the Hornet's Nest enough that the Hornets will try to protect themselves by handing over those close to them who were involved. Should be a good show and a great Movie!!

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. President Donald Trump criticized House Oversight Committee chair Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) on Saturday for failing to help his district. He could just as well have pointed out Cummings does a terrible job of “oversight.” Whether as chair of the committee or ranking member, Cummings has been a partisan hack. He abuses his power for vendettas against the Trump administration. And when Obama was in charge, Cummings shielded him from scrutiny. In February, Cummings conducted a farcical hearing that featured former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen. Cohen had already been convicted of lying to Congress and was already on his way to federal prison. Cummings did not care:

Trump supporters are right to feel vindication after Robert Mueller's testimony before Congress. (SnipThe real truth is Mueller's testimony was never going to interrupt preexisting trends. Support for impeachment has been stable for a year at around 40 percent in the Fox News poll of registered voters. (Snip)But President Trump and Republicans would be wrong to assume that the Democrats' drive to impeachment has ended. The will to overturn the 2016 election never depended on Mueller. He was merely the most likely instrument of Trump's undoing. Democrats have called for impeachment since Trump's inaugural. What they have lacked is the means.

Soon after the special counsel’s office opened in 2017, some aides noticed that Robert S. Mueller III kept noticeably shorter hours than he had as F.B.I. director, when he showed up at the bureau daily at 6 a.m. and often worked nights. He seemed to cede substantial responsibility to his top deputies, including Aaron Zebley, who managed day-to-day operations and often reported on the investigation’s progress up the chain in the Justice Department. As negotiations with President Trump’s lawyers about interviewing him dragged on, for example, Mr. Mueller took part less and less, according to people familiar with how the office worked.
