My initial reaction to Robert Mueller’s congressional appearance was one of pity. He was a pathetic character on the stage, seemingly bewildered at times, mentally frail, and vulnerable as a witness.
What a way to end a career and to be remembered by friend and foe alike.
But emotion is not the way to assess what we saw. It’s not an overstatement to say that the Hillary-DNC-Fusion GPS-Steele operation, as embraced by influential members of the FBI and possibly intelligence services, compounded by leaks to and collusion of a willing media, came close to undermining a presidential election before and after Election Day.
In many ways the Mueller testimony confirmed our worst fears

Let's let AG Barr and IG Horowitz do their thing before we start another two year long 30 million dollar special prosecutor investigation into the investigators. If Barr is who I think he is we will happy with the results.

It doesn't necessarily require a new investigation, but at least one of the reported other investigations MUST result in indictments of some of the key instigators and co-conspirators or this country will have been forever changed. The swamp will have won. And after Trump is gone they will reassemble and come back looking more like the Soviet Union than the United States.
The indictments must come. The people who attempted this coup must go to jail.

I'll go even further. The people who were wrongfully prosecuted (like Flynn, etc), financially ruined, or jailed MUST all be pardoned, their records cleared, and financially compensated too. It cannot be left that innocent people can be left ruined by malicious government prosecutions for purely political proposes.
This is America. We cannot accept political prosecutions and thought crimes. Ever.

Agreed #3. But I want their compensation to come from the $millions pocketed by the Mueller team and from the paychecks, pensions and bank accounts of those who created and ran this attempted coup. Start with the Clintons and 0bamas - they are all multi-millionaires, then move on down the line.
Not one penny of compensation should come from the taxpayers.

The Department of Justice needs a complete reorganization. Additionally, much of the senior staff needs to be permanently sent to the golf course to enjoy their ill gotten gains.

Let me remind posters here. OIGs can only interview current employees of the Department they are the IG for. OIGs have no subpoena powers. Any OIG report, before it is released, goes through a lot of "review" between the OIG and the component agency or office that was investigated. No one affected by the report will be surprised by the findings. Our only hope is US Attorney John Dunham. And I hope he rips a new one for the CIA (Brennan and Haspel) and the IC at large.

The entire corrupt top layer of the FBI should be dismissed and tried individually. Nobody is exempt because these people do not take action without meeting and discussing everything they are doing. Comey, Mueller, Strzuk, Page, McCabe, Rosenstein, all should be behind bars. All respect is gone.

Will the so called investigators be investigated? The answer depends upon whether our Republic survives very long. The real leaders of this Mueller farce need be on dockets answering questions and being sentenced.

If the investigators were not paid over and above their salary, these sideshows would not be dragged on and on.

There could be nothing further from a waste of money than to get to the bottom of this attempted coup. This is the most serious and largest scandal in American history where our election process was under attack not to mention the invasion of our privacy by our government. We will not accept a white wash of this by DOJ or any other.
Joe diGenova and Victoria Toensing were on Lou Dobbs night before last (24th) and she said, “Forget the IG. He’s not worth squat.” They said his report is taking so long because people are calling him (the IG) for redo’s of their testimony since now Durham is on the case. Their memories got “refreshed” all of a sudden.(They are scared.) Victoria said focus on Durham. And that we will find out that Mifsud is a western asset. Pity is misplaced. Pity the taxpayer who have had to bear the burden of this hoax and pay all of Hillary's pals out of this nice pot of gold. We should be clawing back the 30 million from these crooks in lawyer's garb. Mueller's reputation was shot a long time ago in Boston but no one wanted to admit it, and his involvement in Uranium One with Hillary is still to be exposed. There is of course no curiosity to be found in what now passes for the press corps. Time for all these people to answer for their crimes and these perpetrators of a 30 million dollar scam on the American people should be behind bars not in front of the bar. Mueller was never the saint that they wanted us to believe and his sins will never be paid for because at this point the man is clearly not mental fit enough to stand trial.

It’s worse than Prof. Jacobson says. Only part of the problem is that the CIA/FBI/State Department/Obama White House might have influenced the 2016 election. Equally if not more troublesome is that this sham investigation, with no real limitations and run by vicious and conscienceless Democrat partisans, surely DID influence the 2018 election. Is there any doubt that the House would have remained in Republicans’ hands had this false farrago not dominated the news cycle 25/8? Two years of good government were lost due to the Comey/Mueller/Weissmann/Schiff monstrosity, and two more years lost to the paralyzed and paralyzing Democrat House.
