(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it hand-delivered ethics complaint to Chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Office of Congressional Ethics David Skaggs calling for a full investigation into potential crimes tied to allegations that Rep. Ilhan Omar may have married her biological brother.
“The evidence is overwhelming Rep. Omar may have violated the law and House rules. The House of Representatives must urgently investigate and resolve the serious allegations of wrongdoing by Rep. Omar,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “We encourage Americans to share their views on Rep. Omar’s apparent misconduct with their congressmen.”

They had to have picked up a bucketful of evidence from the David Steinberg (Power Line) investigative research on Ilhan, from her coming to this country through her marriages, and on and on. Five instalments worth, published at PL. Instalment 5 was posted here a week or so ago and contained links to the first 4 instalments. It carried Scott Johnson’s byline, but it was all Steinberg. A pretty damning series of articles.

PS. Just read the complaint. Sure enough, Judicial Watch used the Steinberg evidence. And Scott Johnson was one of the investigative team members. Find the Steinberg post and read the whole batch. How Ilhan got this far is pretty scary.

What's frightening is that she carried her district by large margin...and it's nowhere near majority foreign-born. Shame on them.

It's about time. Of course, she and any of her supporters will automatically and mindlessly hurl the word "racism."

How do you file an ethics complaint against someone in office in a House that has no ethics???

Somewhere I read (and I'd be interested in hearing any confirmation), that there is a substantial Jewish population in brother-marrying Omar's district. Of course, as Jackie Mason often says, Jews live like rich white Republicans and vote like poor black Democrats.

If you look in the pictorial dictionary under "fearless" you should see Tom Fitton and Judicial Watch. Their fine work has exposed Hillary Clinton and her crimes. They are doing the work that Paul Ryan would never allow when he held the speakership. Paul Ryan was in it for himself and the money (from the Chamber of Commerce). Judicial Watch is clearly a national treasure.

Judicial Watch is doing what the 125,000 employees of the DoJ, the 36,000 employees of the FBI, the 100,000 employees of the IRS plus the countless lawyers of the Federal Election Commission won’t do. And Tom Fitton and his colleagues at JW are doing this with private contributions while the federal workers responsible for investigating this corruption turn their backs and add to our massive deficits. Something is terribly wrong, and it’s not Judicial Watch.

re #10
her district includes St Louis Park (Tom Friedman, Coen Bros.) which has the largest Jewish population in the Minnesota.. all very liberal and secular.. they not only VOTE, but they CONTRIBUTE a lot to anyone with a D after their name..
her district also contains about 90% of the 80,000 somalis in the Twin Cities.. and ALL of them vote..
they are raising havoc at the local political and school board level as well..

Can we just fire everyone in Congress and hire everyone at Judicial Watch to take their place? Judicial Watch seems to be the only ones actually doing any work in the "greall halls"!

OK, a good start, but when will we be able to get a federal prosecutor to look into her crimes.
They were happy enough to nail Duke Cunningham for his errors, but then again, he was a white American war hero, not a black, foreign-born saboteur.

It is time to demonstrate the difference between America, and the chaos from which so many have come.
It is "law and order"!
Mr. President, until we can observe our laws and our justice being applied without partiality, we need to stay with "make America great again". The swamp is still functioning and the job is not done!

Way to go JW and Tom Fitton. Doing the job that the DOJ seems loathe to do. Again.

Tom Fitton and JW deserve credit for filing the complaint, but some seem to be overlooking the fact that, without David Steinberg’s (& team) 3 years of broad and deep research/investigation/assembly of documentation, JW would have no grounds for this complaint…
Steinberg produced all of the evidence that Fitton and JW tell us in the complaint provided the basis for the complaint.
C’mon. Credit where credit is due...
