Americans’ steadfast adherence to the rule of law separates the United States from almost every other country, even other free societies. There is nothing more contrary to the rule of law, however, than the current lack of control over our southern border, across which thousands now pass illegally every day.
Alexis de Tocqueville, the young French diplomat who toured America extensively in 1831 then wrote De la démocratie en Amerique, the most celebrated portrait of the young nation’s society, marveled at the operation of the rule of law here.
He wrote that “in America one man never obeys another man, only justice or the law.”

This is what is mind blowing to me: the illegal or those that didn’t show up for visa reup have broken law not once but twice and the Democrats are fighting for the law breaking. Then, the Democrats are aiding and Abetting by calling out ICE locations. On top of that, the Democrats are rewarding illegal action with health care, education, and all kids of freebies hard working Americans struggle to pay.
Discussion time of immigration is past. Close the border and start prosecuting congress people that cross border to assist immigration trains.
The buck stops with my pocket book.

Forgive me, but have there even been any 'raids'? I haven't seen anything about results in any new source.

These lawbreakers, who had had their day in court, should have been deported immediately after the court came down against them and ordered them deported. They’d have gone quietly, a few at a time. Other presidents and their administrations kicked these cases down the road. Yet another mess for President Trump & Co to clean up.

What’s to debate? We have laws. Enforce them.
Along the way, prosecute any aiders and abettors… They need to feel some pain so that they will knock off this illegal activity and others will not be tempted to engage in it. Consequences.

Unfortunately, not.
Keep deporting, faster and faster, more every single DAY!
Get these thieves out of our country, and back to their own countries.

With this action, the need for an immigration debate is gone. We have exactly what we want, the deportation of illegal aliens on a mass scale. The wall is under construction and Americans are willing to back it up with firearms as other sane countries do. Any legalized citizen who commits a serious crime should be deported with the rest of the garbage. There is absolutely no obligation, moral, legal or otherwise that should require us to feed and care for the world's derelicts. The inevitable damage can be seen in Spain, France, Germany, Scandinavia, Italy, Greece, etc. Restaurants can either hire legal help or shut down. We already have laws in place to accept a minimal number of productive individuals every year. Americans have had it.

Of course, the media will sensationalize ICE's work as a ''raid'' but it is nothing different from what they do every day. In this case, it is just a surge in operations. Nothing different, just more of it.

Those who are disappointed because there was no “REALLY BIG SHEW!” (thanks, Ed Sullivan) on Sunday, do not realize what ICE is telling us: This was just more of what they do all the time. In this case they had a mission to get a larger number of long time ago court-mandated deportees on their way out and back home. No one called CNN to have their news crews around. They just got on with business as usual - some a few days ahead of time.

One cannot "debate" with ideologues who refuse to acknowledge factual truth.
There are NO "innocents" involved here, every single name on those lists have had their day in court, have exhausted their appeals and have ignored a final order of deportation!!
It is past time to start arresting and charging those who engage in "aiding and abetting" others to break our immigration laws!!

The only way to depoliticize mass uncontrolled illegal immigration is for the Congress to pass legislation, making all aliens who enter the country illegally, or who gain entry to the USA through fraud, or subterfuge, and are thereafter granted amnesty, be permanently considered to be statutorily ineligible to be naturalized as US citizens. That would mean that illegal aliens who are eventually granted amnesty, could be given a lawful immigration status to live and work in the USA indefinitely, but could never become US citizens, and most importantly could never be able to lawfully vote in future US elections. If that were to happen the Democrats would immediately stop supporting illegal aliens who could never become US voters and cast votes to keep the Democrats in permanent political power, that is the current long-term Democrat political game plan to generate unlimited numbers of future foreign born Democrat socialist voters, and the primary reason for the Democrats currently supporting mass uncontrolled illegal immigration. Of course that would never be possible until the Republicans control the Congress and the White House.
