Street Smarts in the White House

Original Article

Posted By: Chris Jr., 7/11/2019 3:56:16 PM

President Trump went to an Ivy League school, but he came out still talking like a New Yorker, with his street smarts intact. What does it mean to have street smarts? It’s knowledge of how to spot trouble coming, how to cope with mean bastards, and thrive. It is knowledge gained from gritty life [Snip] Your knowledge is based in your life experience, not conventional wisdom or academic notions, so it is actually real. [Snip] Think President Trump. [Snip] Like a martial arts master, Trump doesn’t absorb his enemies’ attacks. He transforms their assaults into his own energy to win.

This is a brilliant essay celebrating the greatest patriot to rise to the presidency since the Revolution or the Civil War (another Democrat sponsored event). Whenever I get down and discouraged at the slow pace of justice against our seditious domestic enemies, I always try to remember what President Trump has already overcome. He is the only man standing between us and disaster. Pray. Pray hard. MAGA

Responding to Paul Ryan's demeaning criticism of him in his new book for not taking political advice, President Trump ... the man who has accomplished so much for America in two years ... punched back. He called him an effing boy scout. If Ryan hadn't quit and gone home, the Republicans could have changed Obama- care and given Americans real healthcare reform. Ryan wasn't an effing boy scout, Mr President. He was an effing quitter. Boy scouts don't learn to quit. They lead.

Excellent article, one of the best analyses of President Trump that I have seen. Old saying: "It aint't bragging if you can actually do it." Yep, exactly. And he CAN actually do it, HAS actually done it. Remember The Zero's derisive, "does he think he's got a magic wand?" From the ignorant, dysfunctional view of a Marxist - yes, he has a magic wand, in fact he has two - they are called the free market and deregulation. Both things that Marxists are CERTAIN do not exist. Fools. MAGA! Four more years!

🙏🏻 Thank you. Our President knows we work hard and love our country. We are not bombastic. We are not racist or anything other name they ascribe to us. We are the “sleeping giant” and we will be heard in 2020.

Peggy Noonan may be a fake conservative, but in her weekly column in the Wall Street Journal today, she nailed what racism is in America 55 years after passage of the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964. She wrote, "In the past, whether you were racist could be judged by your actions. [Snip] Now the idea has taken hold that the charge of racism doesn’t derive from thoughts and actions, from what people say and do, but from who they are. As dollar stores sweep across America, they are facing growing scrutiny from opponents who argue that discount chains stifle local competition and limit poor communities' access to healthy food. Dollar stores have never been more popular. Yet a wave of cities and towns have passed laws curbing the expansion of Dollar General and Dollar Tree, which bought Family Dollar in 2015. The companies are the two largest dollar store operators in the country, combining for more than 30,000 stores throughout the United States, up from under 20,000 a decade ago. By comparison, Walmart, America's largest retailer, has 4,700 US stores.
