Joe Biden got it right, it’s just that he said it in the wrong country. In Joe’s country, getting it right is wrong, and the unwary pay for it. In Joe’s country a sucker never gets an even break, and everybody’s a sucker.
Joe’s country is the modern Democratic Party, where the grown-ups looked at the field of dwarfs, concluded that not even Snow White could find a credible candidate for president among that motley crew of 25, and figured that Joe, who might not scare the horses, was the man they needed. He would be the wise, avuncular graybeard needed to steady the mayhem in the nursery.
Joe looks credible.

Frankly, nothing more effective in the "effort to strip humanity" than idiots like Spartacus Booker opening his mouth. Must admit, however, that AOC gives tough competition.

So, Kamala Mattress is in favor of compulsory busing? What other bad ideas does she want to resurrect from the 1970s; leisure suits, mood rings, flare leg jeans, disco?
Since she has never had any children of her own (and never will) she has no idea why parents would want their children to attend schools near their home. Kamala has never gotten the call while at work from the school nurse saying that your child has fever and is vomiting and needs to be picked up. Then, instead of a 15 minute drive of a few block, having to take off from work to go clear across town and back with a sick child, because some unaccountable educrat got to decide where your child would attend school. Never mind that most parents black and white pick their residences based on the local school district and are willing to pay more to live in a good performing school district with nearby neighborhood schools. Super-career woman, Kamala, who never got around to have any kids, is completely clueless on this.

In reply to the Kamala Harris concept re: Busing - yes, she has no children, but her lack of understanding this issue is more due to her leftist mindset. I have not been married, hence no children, yet I have always understood why parents would resist busing their children all over the place for some bureaucrat's idiotic scheme to balance the ethnicity of the schools. Originally it had some credibility due to the inferior schools the black children were assigned to. Yet, even then, busing was a waste of taxpayer's money which should have been used to improve the schools in black neighborhoods. Instead the leftist idiots employed bus drivers instead of good teachers. They did little to improve the bad schools, and then shipped poor white kids to the bad schools.

Regardless of Joe's 1970's troubles with Southern Democrats, his real trouble is he can not face down the modern-day commicrats. He was supposed to guide them back toward the center, by the example of success being more centrist and by hook, demanding a more civilized appearing campaign. The plan failed miserably and now the Rat party is experiencing a schism that is going to probably establish a split ticket (Hurrah for our side, right?). The Democrats can not have a worse experience and it is all of their own makings. Now, Pelosi has no choice but to try force against the radicals. But, without a new, firmer centrist to put forth as a candidate, this is going to result in a nightmare of internal fighting. That will dry up their campaign donations something fierce. And that will very badly weaken the Democratic Party effort to retain the House. Hating Trump might have seemed like a grand strategy, but it is not a winning strategy. People, even leftist leaning people, still want a rational platform. A wealthy, wstable, working America is not going to listen to radical change-makers.

I quit reading at "He would be the wise, avuncular graybeard.....!" Joe Biden and wise don't really belong in the same sentence.

Now, let's take a look at the record of the Uniparty (Republican Division) on its major issues. Even though it held both chambers of Congress from 2016 to 2018, what was done to stem illegal immigration and clear the country of those already here wrongfully? What was done to stem wasteful spending? The do-nothing McConnell-Ryan-McCarthy-Romney-Amash-Bush GOPe is no more the "right country" than are the Democrats. Indeed, everyone is a sucker these days.

He's pretty quick to knuckle under. A Biden administration would be hounded by the far Left at every turn over every decision. And it would be widely expected to be a 1-term presidency. Vote for Joe if you want 4 years of chaos.

I find it rather ironic that what Clarence Thomas was claiming to be happening to him during his hearings at the hands of the democrats, is also happening to Biden. But it is by Biden's own party this time, not at the hands of republicans like he actually deserves. Karma does love a good butt chomp doesn't she?

Joe may have been "around the track" a few times but both parties think he was running around the wrong track, backwards.
As shown, his fellow dems have new standards of victimhood and it doesn't matter whether things happened in the past under different circumstances. The dems think Joe's "experience" is useless in their new struggles, despite the reality that their "struggles" are absurd.
Republicans should know that Biden has a closet full of nasty issues that he carried out as a dem. Plus, he was BO's wingman for 8 years and most of us think of BO and his "friend" Joe as incompetent and damaging to the Country. Joe, being Joe, nicely focuses on the issue when he says HE would never allow the Russians to do what they did on HIS watch. Everybody cringed because it HAPPENED on BO and Joe's watch and BO DELIBERATELY chose not to do much about it.
Being an "experienced" politician doesn't translate to being an effective or good politician. All it may mean, especially in Joe's case, is that you managed to bamboozle the voters enough to get reelected.
The dems as a party are LOSERS and Joe is a senior statesman in their losing trajectory. Being a bit more stable than the other smurfs isn't much of an accomplishment.
