It seems a number of persons are attempting to give Walmart a bad name. Might Target be behind this turn of events? Just as most ice cream cartons have a seal encircling the lid, one would find that seal on mouthwash as well. Stupid female swigging, and the other, licking have their head screwed on backward. They had to have broken the seal to do the dirty deed. Now an unsuspecting customer picks up that merchandise but one look to see there is no longer a seal tightly wrapped around the lid. The smart consumer would either take this to customer service or put it back on the shelf for the NEXT fool who might try this prank again. Is the USA the only country to use seals on such items. (Thank you Tylenol!)

There is really nothing a consumer can do as those incidents can happen in any store except not purchasing any product where the seal has been tampered with or has been removed. These incidents that are now sure to increase as copycats looking for attention get into the act, and should be a wake up call to manufacturers to ensure that their products are protected by very noticeable and effective seals so that consumers will immediately recognize that the product has been tampered with. It will be hard to successfully prosecute such actors unless that are arrested at the scene and the tampered with product seized as evidence. As if not the actor could simply claim as a defense that after the video was completed that he or she purchased the item and took it out of the store casting reasonable doubt that a law was broken.

This is what you get when people hate everyone around them. They turn off their brain, and become stupid, ignorant, and full of a sick sense of pride that makes that person think they can do anything they want because they are 'better'. Look for more tamper-proof products in the future. If you see a tampered product, report it. Places like Walmart literally have hundreds of surveillance cameras, and they will likely catch the offender. These crimes are so stupid. The offender will get caught. If they even think for a second, they know they won't get away with it.

I buy Listerine and I know there is a tamper evident seal around the lid. This cretin could have removed it before filming, but any consumer in his/her right mind won't buy or use that bottle without that seal. As for the ice cream, I like Blue Bunny's packaging, it has a plastic tub and lid with a tab that has to be broken off before opening. Apparently Blue Bell ice cream and others do not. I think that they will start doing something more tamper proof in the very near future.

Toilet paper – the one product that the majority of us use just once and flush away – is becoming less sustainable, according to research. Analysis from Ethical Consumer magazine found that major brands were using less recycled paper than in 2011, while only five of the nine major supermarkets (the Co-op, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose) offered an own-brand recycled toilet paper. The large-scale use of virgin paper contributes to unnecessary deforestation.
