Rep. Frederica Wilson demands prosecution for those who mock Congress online

Original Article

"We're gonna shut them down and work with whoever it is to shut them down, and they should be prosecuted," she continued. "You cannot intimidate members of Congress, frighten members of Congress. It is against the law, and it's a shame in this United States of America."

Another signal from the Left that they oppose free speech. Now that they control universities, tech companies and the media they have no incentive to support our freedoms.

Come on Frederica! Mocking politicians has been a great American tradition from the beginning. It is the ultimate proof that we are citizens and not subjects, and you are our servants, not our masters.

This reminds me of the days of Reconstruction when ill-prepared, sometimes illiterate persons were ensconced in Southern state legislatures.

Frederica, you work for US. Not the other way around. Everyone in Congress came into our districts with lies and promises asking for donations and votes. They are elected to represent We the People of These United States of America and to Uphold the Constitution as it stands. And what do they do ? Fight tooth and nail for not only illegals but refugees. Somebody needs to get a grip and take care of American citizens.

So, imagine what Democrats will do once they gain more seats in Congress, and if they'd also have the White House. Be careful when they mention "our" values, as they are literally THEIR values, not everyone's or even a majority.

Hey, Cowgurl Sequins, read first amendment to the Constitution you raised your salon-clawed fingers and swore to defend. When you’re finished working that out in your thick head, read up on the second amendment and what Thomas Jefferson said about tyrants and the tree of liberty. He was talking about petty nitwits like you.

You in congress are not doing your sworn duty to protect the people of the UNITED STATES! Instead you are protecting the illegal aliens and trying to give them full benefits that Americans fought for and pay taxes for. I think most Americans are about ready to storm congress and hang every last one of the Democrats from the nearest overpass. Your day is coming sooner than later. This would instantly solve 99% of our nation's problems.

Tyrant! We can do you one better, and vote your sorry rear end OUT! What Frederica just said proves she has no place in Congress. Unfortunately, you are in a safe district, and likely have a job for life. You are another reason for term limits. Seriously, if Frederica Wilson had her way, how long before Congress would come after the Lucianne website and her posters?

She wears the fugly hats, Sheila Jackson Lee wears that fugly braid thing wrapped around her head (been this field hand's style for years), and Maxine wears a fugly James Brown wig. I'm telling you; there's something there, ya'll.

What Frederica Wilson said about prosecuting American citizens who speak out against Members of Congress and their unpopular or completely wrong political positions has historically been the way that Socialists have gone about their business. Does America want that to happen? Clearly the 2020 election will tell that story!

The issue of the Census question on citizenship is important, but more significant is a case in a U.S. District Court in Alabama, in which the state and U.S. representative Mo Brooks claim that the Constitution actually prohibits inclusion of illegal aliens in the population base for purposes of apportionment. The MSM pay no attention to this lawsuit because they want to keep the Overton Window firmly fixed. But the plaintiffs have serious arguments, and even if they lose, they should open our collective eyes to possibilities of congressional or presidential action.

National Public Radio (NPR) turned to Never Trump pundit Jonah Goldberg on Friday morning to explain the implications of the decision this week by Rep. Justin Amash to leave the Republican Party. Goldberg told Morning Edition‘s Steve Inskeep that Amash’s departure was “a sign of many of the symptoms he’s talking about,” including the increased partisanship of American politics — which, Goldberg argued, was ironically a result of the weakening of the traditional parties in the face of challenges by outsiders like Donald Trump and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Amash, he said, reacting to the report by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, which did not fit into the GOP’s partisan paradigm.

CNN acknowledged that Trump’s speech was not political, but rather “a message of national pride.” Unfortunately, the matter of national pride has become political. But there was nothing in the speech that anyone would have found objectionable before left-liberals rejected the notion of pride in America. There was nothing in the speech that any patriotic American rationally can find objectionable today. You have to dislike America to dislike what Trump said to the crowd on the Mall.
