Following an announcement by a group to hold a second “burkini” protest at a pool in the French city of Grenoble, counter-protesters have called on locals to swim in the pool wearing nothing at all. Last Sunday, a group of around a dozen women belonging to the Alliance Citoyenne (Citizens’ Alliance) protested at a pool that had banned the wearing of the Islamic sharia-compliant swimwear, (Snip group has announced another protest to take place on Sunday, but this time others on social media have suggested bathers take off all of their clothes and bathe naked in counter-protest.

This could get ugly! Seniors in France can be found on the most popular nude beaches…they love baring all to the sun and water….

I can't be the only one who remembers that swim suits weren't allowed in NYC's public schools and elsewhere into the 60's. Health reasons. .. the American Public Health Association in 1926 issued its first guidelines for maintaining sanitation in school pools.. Frankly, I wouldn't get in the water with those flea infested Burkas.

Both responses seem silly and unnecessary. Wouldn’t it be wiser for the Moslems to just build their own pools? Heaven knows they have access to enough money. And as for beaches, why not just cordón off a portion for burkinis like we do with nude beaches?

How can one swim in a burka style swimsuit? Are ankles bared? Do they still look like the photo negative of the KKK? All that material has to be heavy when wet.
